When I returned, nothing had actually been changed. My phone still showed the exact same battery health (83%), and there was no system message indicating that any battery had been replaced. That was the first red flag. When I questioned it and asked the technician to open the phone in front of me, he refused and told me to come back the next day. That lack of transparency immediately made me uncomfortable. The next day, after insisting, the situation became even more suspicious. I was shown a battery that supposedly came from my phone, but it had specifications that didn't even match my device (wrong capacity, no Apple branding). That raised serious concerns about honesty and professionalism. At one point, when I stepped away briefly, the technician suddenly "completed" the battery replacement. This time, my phone immediately displayed a notification saying the battery was not recognized as genuine. That clearly showed that the previous visit, no replacement had been done at all. In the end, I requested my original battery back and had it reinstalled because I no longer trusted the parts or the service. Once reinstalled, my phone went back to showing the original 83% battery health, confirming that it was indeed my original battery all along. This experience felt misleading and unprofessional. A customer should never have to question whether a service was actually performed or not. Transparency and honesty are essential in this type of business, and unfortunately, that was completely lacking here. I would strongly recommend being cautious and asking to see the repair done in front of you if you decide to come here.

Any physical damages would have to be paid for. Which is reasonable I agree and he fixed my phone. I have a 17 Pro Max the orange one. After he fixed it he told me my "stand by" function will no longer work which I thought was fishy considering I'm paying $200. I bought a new screen privacy screen protector and when placed on my new screen lines appeared as if the screen was rejecting the screen protector. Now these are problems that I noticed immediately they're small and not the end of the world but it's worth mentioning since people are paying. Now back to that 3 month warranty in the case the screen blacks out. I had a gathering with my family so to stay engaged I sit my phone the table. Something I do all the time never been a problem. I wake up the next morning to retrieve it and it won't turn on. My phone will ring , you can feel the vibrations my phone is not broken my screen just blacked out Something That Was Supposed To Be Covered In The Warranty . I call him and he tell me he can not replace my phone if it was damaged by water. The way he can tell or not if it has water damaged is by a strip inside the phone if it's x-color it dry if it's y-color it's been water damaged at some point. I tell him my phone has been wet before I came to him and I'm positive my phone just blacked out. He tells me he would not have sold me the warranty had he known I had previous water damage because it makes the screen more prone to blacking out. WHICH IS TOTALLY UNDERSTANDABLE. But my problem today is I was not notified of this disclosure until after I've already paid and my screen is already blacked out. This business represented horrible communication and integrity the price is extreme and the product is mediocre. If I pay $200 for a service I expect all the functions of the phone to be there after the service. And if your selling point is your warranty you should be communicating your terms.

HOWEVER the next day, I noticed major issues with the "supposedly" new and "supposedly" OEM battery as it overheated while charging and then discharged very quickly (90% down to 20% in about 3 hours). A new battery shouldn't discharge that quickly and my phone displays "Unverified" on the battery health & charging indicator under battery settings which is clearly a red flag. Called him to resolve and he said that he gets parts from Mobile Sentrix which I noticed it has reviews stating that this wholesaler distributes defective parts (that explains my battery issues). The business owner tried to reassure me that the battery is not defective and that I can buy another one that he will install free of cost (this should've been stated BEFORE the repair, why should I pay for 2 batteries??) We set up an appointment for next day which he ended up rescheduling 5 minutes before our meeting!! (very unprofessional and inconsiderate) and spoke to me with a hostile attitude because I wanted him to honor our appointment. He gave me an ultimatum of "do you want the appointment tomorrow or not?" No apology or "customer satisfaction is paramount" applied here. Part of the problem with his service is that he prefers you pay him via cash, Zelle, etc and unfortunately in the event of an issue you don't get credit card protection. He charges more for credit card (hindsight should've protected myself). I entrusted this business based on the high rating and unfortunately his level of service drastically changed as soon as he received my Zelle payment. Overall this was a frustrating and costly mistake. The business states repeatedly that "Customer satisfaction is paramount" and my experience was that this principle ONLY applies up to the point of payment. The business needs to put more effort into ensuring the SAME level of service and customer satisfaction before and after payment (including cash payment). We agreed to another battery replacement the following week and he decided to block communication my number and not resolve the issue. The business took my money and refused to ensure customer satisfaction, I'm very disappointed and do not recommend this service whatsoever. Here are 6 of the issues I discussed with the business owner (in person) prior to him deciding to block my number and claim that my behavior is not customer "standard": 1. After the business received my nonrefundable payment, I was trying to schedule a resolution to the potential defective battery problem, however the owner spoke to me in a hostile and aggressive manner which CLEARLY demonstrates that customer satisfaction is not the top priority 2. I requested an apology and he did so (why didn't the owner take the initiative beforehand to apologize?) 3. The owner suggested I drive to him for the battery resolution which was unbelievable considering that the business model and expected level of service is that the tech always drives to the customer 5. Told the owner that excellent customer service would be to ask the customer what can we do to make this better? Explore options instead of your way or the highway. Blocking my number and refusing to resolve my battery issue is very unprofessional and completely contradicts your slogan of "customer service is paramount". 6. Based on the high rating I trusted this business and chose to pay cash which unfortunately doesn't provide any protection options in the event of any issues. I will not repeat that mistake.

So -- be warned -- if you purchase supplies from this business, be aware that he "never accepts returns" and that if he decides to make an exception, he'll retain 25% of the payment. Here's my story: A few weeks ago, Wesley posted on our apartment community board about him starting his own business repairing phones. I didn't think much of it until, lo and behold, I dropped my phone moving stuff...Then, I dropped it AGAIN moving stuff for a photoshoot a week later. The screen cracks were atrocious. Eventually, I had given up on packing tape holding my phone screen together, and since it was also a work phone, my boss told me to "Get it fixed ASAP.". So, I messaged Wesley yesterday. Wes was all about getting it done when I texted him in the middle of his work day. He responded so quickly! No joke, I texted him around 3PM, and he was like, "Yeah, I'll get it done. I'll let you know when I can take your phone to fix it." Now, keep in mind, he is the only person doing this job, and he did have other phones he was working on, so I wasn't able to get in until 8PM, but y'all...It took less than an HOUR for Wes to fix it! So, after all was said and done...within an hour it was fixed!! That isn't to say everyone can get their phones fixed within an hour (I don't want to set that kind of expectation up for him as new entrepreneur), but it's been two days and the screen is A+. No new calibration needed, no wonky-ass stuff coming up, and my screen brightness is still the same (I'm weird about that) He may call you "Ma'am", but I highly recommend him! :)
