The owner, Phil, came to perform the estimate. After that, different workers came to perform the work. Pros: Excellent workers. The guys who showed up to actually perform the job were courteous, nice, & professional. I would give them a shout out, but I've forgotten their names. Cons: After 10 days waiting for CT Glass to receive the order (the physical glass pane) on their end, they accidentally ordered a wrong size for one of the windows. So two of the three windows were complete, then we waited another 10 days for the third to be done. Not a huge deal by any means, just a slightly inconvenient mix-up nonetheless. The 10 day wait for the glass on their end could not be helped, as it was tempered glass so it needed to be ordered special. It can also be somewhat difficult to communicate with CT glass, as it doesn't seem they have much customer service experience.

When Ted, from the Window People, came out to measure he wrote up the $2,700+ window order for white hardware even though the window he was replacing and every window in the house had brass hardware. The new window was installed and later I noticed the hardware did not match the old window. When I asked to have the hardware replaced, Ted wanted over $100 to swap it out. Ted and I went back and forth over "I signed for white hardware" versus "You were instructed that I wanted the exact same window as before but longer vertically". Ted wants the money... I called customer service at Marvin Corporate and Jill was great. She sent me the hardware as a courtesy at no cost. Marvin makes a great window but where you purchase it from is important and if you are looking for reasonable support I would not call The Window People.
