I had a surgery date scheduled traveling from another state, they called the night before to cancel the procedure due to the doctor, they refuse to refund my money, cherry financing will honor them in the dispute after sending all communications about them canceling! They do not take my calls or respond to emails. Brooke is a liar when they did answer she would say a manager will call me back it's been six months, when it was time to take payments the manager was available in two seconds. I was scheduled for surgery 7/23 @3:30pm my surgery was cancelled the day before. I was told that the Dr had an emergency. I had already told Brooke C. when I made my appointment if the 23rd wasn't available I can't do it. Well here it is 4:30pm and I still haven't heard back from SSB. I called my bank and they started the dispute process. This place is VERY unprofessional they never answer the phone everyone wants to text. I'm disappointed and disgusted with this place. This place is the best. They always answer the phone and answer all of your questions. You get to see the doctor before surgery and he explains it all. Staff is friendly. Surgery center is very welcoming and make you feel comfortable and less nervous. Very clean and professional. They send all the information you need for before and after care. They have specials all the time even for massages or after care after surgery. After care- Aneysi is my massage girl and she is AMAZING! If you get massages with them go to her! My massage was something I feared and she made it as painless as possible. Shes always smiling and in a bubbly mood. Makes you feel comfortable. She provides information about your faja, and when to add lipo foams and boards etc. She goes above and beyond to make sure she drains you good. Literally above and beyond!! I had 360 lipo Spanish waist and bbl here. First off my surgeon was amazing doc Fig!!! I have the body I have only dreamed of! He was kind and put in so much care on me. Natalie who assisted him is wonderful too!!! So understanding would answer my most ridiculous questions easy going laughed right along with me and held my hand through each step, I absolutely love her! Marlen gave me my after care massages she is just cute as a button! So gentle and sweet very good lung but knows what she's doing! I wanted to just adopt her lol. Loved those three!!! Let me start by saying they were amazing until surgery day, I went in for a neck lipo that cost $2200, first of all I have given the surgery time to heal (2 months) and I see no difference, I have no idea what I paid for because not only is my chin the same way it was prior to surgery but now I have lumps, I tried to get the massages and they tried to charge me the same price they charge for a full body lipo, for the small section of my chin, they also charged me the price of the face garment, and was never given one, I had to order one from Amazon because they didn't even bother to tell me they didn't have one before the surgery, after surgery I was left with no choice but order one from Amazon. NOT ONCE DID I RECEIVE A CALL TO CHECK UP ON ME OR A FOLLOW UP, NOT ONCE!, til this day I have never heard back from them. They do an amazing job with body surgery but please please DO NOT TRUST THIS PEOPLE WITH YOUR FACE! There are many women afraid to come forward. I was one, but I'll share the foundation of my complaint. 1. If I could give zero stars I would! 2. The organization is unorganized, unprofessional, and dehumanize their patients. 3. The facility does not operate in professional medical standards. There was blood splatters on the walls and a bloody blood pressure cuff I requested be removed from the pre-op room several times. It never was. 4. I waited over four hours the day of surgery. Additionally, I had to reach out after hours for the time to arrive the day of surgery. NO ONE CONTACTED ME! 5. I was placed in the wrong faja, it was also too tight and causes numbness to my extremities. This may have hindered the already horrible job performed by Dr. Fig! 6. The staff intentional ignored me several times and their charting system is non existent. Also, I've requested my medical records over a month ago and I don't have them 7. They are inconsistent in pricing! I was offered a revision for an additional $2K, but they offer others revisions for free. 8. I was offered close to all of my money back as a refund, but when I advised I was going to have my attorney review the release before I sign, they voided the release. 9. I have a strong reason to believe the facility was not licensed to perform my surgery based on a document found online. 10. They censor individuals in the group that don't have stories that glorify the clinic and it's affiliated doctors. This is just the surface. There are women with stories that you wouldn't believe. Here is my experience with SS. First time around back in 2020. I reached out to them to set up a consultation and it was a disaster from miscommunication, to having appts and not being seen a lot of wasted time. So I gave up. Fast forward to 2021, I decided to give them another chance. Experience was better, up until after the surgery. The lack of inconsideration and unprofessionalism of their after care regimen, is beyond me. No one set up the lymphatic massages for me or even mentioned how crucial they are within the first week. I had surgery Weds. I was able to schedule Thursday and Friday for a massage, but there was no availability for the weekend. Monday I was so full of fluid being hardened and bruises. I was in tears when they massaged me. I developed superficial blisters on my sides, the lack of knowledge this staff has is an under statement and embarrassment to anyone who decides to give them trust with their body. I blame them for my set back in recovery. I was able to encounter the wound care nurse Nica, who helped regain my confidence of my process to recovery. She was able to give me her knowledge of what to expect. Nica was genuine in my care and let me contact her on a daily regarding my bruises and blisters. Nica led the way helping me feel I was in good hands. I also met Madelynn, who has been a blessing on reducing the fluid and helping me sculpt my body and seeing progress. The set backs of this office and staff are lack of communication between the office girls who are young and inexperienced, to the text messages they send out for appointments which contradict locations of where you need to go , to the lack of medical supplies, to the lack of the incorrect garment they put you in. I can go on and on... When I say this place is about quantity over quality, please reconsider. Sometimes when the sale price is too good to be true, usually is. The damage they do to someone's body to self esteem isn't worth your mental health. I'm hoping my review will help out the next patient. read more

Fig is amazing. His congenial demeanor makes everything better. I absolutely love my results. Having a larger BMI makes the art a little difficult to craft, but he knows what to do and how to do it. He was very honest that I may need a 2nd procedure to get the shape I'm looking for. I would be satisfied with 1 procedure had it not been for my thighs. Going in again! My experience with Smart Shape Body, Dr. Fig and Dr. Luria was less than stellar. I had Lipo 360 and inner thigh lipo with BL/BA on the morning of February 23, 2021. Unfortunately, by that evening I was in the ICU, having been transported their via ambulance from the SSB facility. While there I had to receive several blood transfusions after my blood pressure and hemoglobin levels dropped FATALLY low. The doctors actually advised my friend to prepare for the worst, as my organs were on the verge of shutting down. Thankfully, the medical staff at St. Joseph's took great care of me and I was released from the hospital on Friday, February 26, 2021. Even after that ordeal, I didn't badmouth SSB and even ignorantly accepted their explanation, which suggested that they were not at fault - it was merely a rare complication, not due to negligence or poor practices. However, in the ensuing months I received no followups with Dr. Fig, the responses to my calls and texts became non-existent. Meanwhile, my breasts started to harden, look deformed and had become painful. Dr. Luria simply advised that I increase my Vitamin E intake and keep massaging. Finally, on June 21st, 2021 he admitted that I now have capsular contracture in BOTH breasts. I refused his offer to perform an additional surgery on me to "try and break up the capsule". Instead, I insisted that I get my money back so that I could move forward with removing these now EXTREMELY painful implants. I was told that someone from the administrative staff would be in touch to resolve the issue. Of course, that never happened. Thankfully, I was able to initiate a dispute with CareCredit and comprehensively present supporting documentation. Yesterday, July 9th, I was credited EVERY SINGLE CENT that I paid to that unprofessional facility that I trusted my body and life with. In addition to that, I was informed that based on their findings, CareCredit has now terminated their agreement with SSB, making them ineligible providers going forward. And for the record, I'm STILL waiting on admin (Vilisity Stow/Tyler Smith/Mary Stupia) to contact me to resolve my situation.... RUN FAR FROM THIS PLACE!! FAR!!!!!!! read more

This place is very shady to me. I've been to their establishment five times and never once saw a doctor or a manager or business owner in the building. There are only two staff members who are ever there, sometimes only one. You go there for one thing and they sell you on something else with false promises. They bring machines from other locations which is peculiar to me because it is potential for damaging the machines and affecting your treatment. They charged me $3500 for a treatment I was quoted for at $1555 at another establishment. Be careful of people who say they are trained. It doesn't necessarily mean they have experience and will do the treatment correctly. The place is dumpy, the elevators are broken or light bulbs are out. It seems they are always having problems with their office. The furniture looks like it was purchased out of a used furniture store and the entire place lacks ambience. I did not have a pre op appointment, and learn I was supposed to have it the morning of my surgery! I've had work done with them before. So I just assume this will be the place for me to go again. Let me tell you the second experience was completely opposite from the first. I got a tummy tuck with them, and almost immediately started having complications. Two weeks after the surgery, my skin fell off and died. Apparently, they have pulled my skin too tight and I went through weeks and weeks of hell trying to get answers about what was happening to me. After about two months, which is when I was supposed to be fully healed. I flew back down to Tampa and made an appointment with the Doctor Who did the surgery they told me I had skin necrosis, that my skin in that area had died, and there was nothing they could do about it. he put silver nitrate on my wound that was still open and told me to use a wet, dry messy and that would fix the problem. The only thing was that I didn't fix the problem. I called and called again and time and time again no answers. I was just left in the dark. I began to remember what happened when I went to Tampa that purchased a necessary Insurance to cut out the dead skin so that my body could finally heal up and close. Had the doctor just done this the first time when I came down I could've done this in a very safe and sterile environment instead I did it at home over the course of a week with a scalpel and silver nitrate. So basically, Google was my doctor now that it's been a year since my surgery. I've been trying to call them about a scar revision. And once again, I'm getting left in the dark. I've scheduled consultations within the past two weeks and no one has tried to call me. Whenever I do call the main line, I get the same excuse as the first time or that someone will call me later, but it never happens. Basically, if you're getting anything other than a BBL I wouldn't do it. They don't care what happens to you or how you even look. I went into this experience, expecting to love my body more. But now I can't even look at myself in the mirror. My self-confidence is ruined. I've lost modeling jobs and everything because I feel uncomfortable with myself anymore. I hope this encourages everyone to properly research their doctor because now I will have to find someone new to help me with this problem. read more

As em-bare-ass-ing as somthing like this is, especially when you let your body go to hell, these gorgeous girls (Jordan, Victoria, Eugenia and Sherri) who run this place make you feel so comfortable. They are your cheerleaders, not your judge and jury. I had a lipo and bbl done by Dr. Miles, who is also so laid back and sweet, and I am loving it. I also went back a week later and Eugenia transformed my face with some fillers. She is spot on and knows what she is doing.
