I highly recommend working with Kenneth at Smart Shade Specialists. I moved into a condo and the existing motorized shades which were installed by the previous owner didn't work with the remote. The shades were on the second floor of an open concept floor plan and couldn't easily be accessed. Kenneth provided an estimate to pair the shades with solar battery packs which could connect to the current remote and also the Graber shades motorization app. It's been a great solution and the shades can be opened or closed at any time and also programmed on a set schedule.
