I highly recommend working with Kenneth at Smart Shade Specialists. I moved into a condo and the existing motorized shades which were installed by the previous owner didn't work with the remote. The shades were on the second floor of an open concept floor plan and couldn't easily be accessed. Kenneth provided an estimate to pair the shades with solar battery packs which could connect to the current remote and also the Graber shades motorization app. It's been a great solution and the shades can be opened or closed at any time and also programmed on a set schedule. Kenneth completely FLAKED on his appointment with me today and this is the SECOND time. The first time he texted me 45 minutes before an 8 AM appointment and when I didn't get back to him, he said he couldn't make it. Really? He should at least let me know he won't show up for our scheduled appointment unless he can confirm by text 45 minutes prior. I would've kept my phone close even for a ridiculous requirement like that. I let him reschedule with me and he not only flaked on me for the 2nd time, he didn't bother calling or returning my text asking if he's still coming to my home.
