And it was 4am to boot. Our return experience was just as good. As we were waiting for our luggage at baggage claim, we saw 3 smart park vans pick up other clients! Recently parked with Smart Park for the second time in 3 months. Regardless of my arrival time to the lot, a van pulled up behind me as soon as I parked my car and I arrived at the airport less than 10 minutes later. The gents driving the vans are delightful and downright chivalrous. They're also punctual, safe and friendly. Similarly, the ladies manning the walkie talkies, dispatcher phones and entry gates are cheerful, kind and dedicated to getting you where you need to go quickly with no fuss. I've arrived home late (after 10pm) and a quick call for airport pickup has twice confirmed that someone was already en route. I have not waited longer than 10 minutes to be picked up at the airport, which is more than I can say when my relatives are on the case :) Again, the chivalrous gents help everyone with their bags and get you back to your car within 10 minutes. Definitely be sure to print the paper coupon so you get the best, advertised rate. Reserving a spot in advance is the easiest way to make sure you remember to print out that coupon. The price is perfect for me, and way better than the PHL PPA at the airport--be a sucka if you want to! Our experience was great this past weekend. We made a reservation online the previous night, and drove into the parking lot, and they directed us to a spot where a shuttle was already waiting. On our return, we called as soon as we got our luggage, and only had to wait 10 minutes for a shuttle (a few passed by that were full, but they made sure to send enough for all of us waiting on a rather busy Friday night). We just parked here for our quickie vacation. I found them on accident after looking for airport parking that wouldn't break the bank. They're so easy, convenient, and friendly. We utilized their Web Coupon and were charged $6.95 per day plus the 20% parking tax. For 5 days, it came out to $39.80. Not too bad at all. When we pulled in Thursday, the shuttle was right behind us to take us to the airport. When we arrived back home yesterday, we called them from the Courtesy Phones in baggage and the driver was there less than 5 minutes later. The entire staff is super friendly. We LOVE Smartpark! It's the only place we've ever parked at...despite having coupons to park other places, SmartPark has never let us down. The people are always friendly. You'll be at your terminal within 10 minutes of parking (normally shorter, but you're the first on the bus...). They give you Smarties when you leave! The lot is clean. They do offer valet, though we've never done it. We've never seen the point, since they pick you up right at your car anyways. They are always prompt for pick up. We used this parking service on our trip to Miami. We paid for the self serve parking which was about $40 for the 5 days. The shuttle was right behind us as we were parking. The shuttle driver took our suitcases and took two other parties and then we were off to the airport. The airport is probably 8 minutes away. It was really convenient. I have nothing but good things to say about Smart Park. This week will be my third reservation with them since September. Online booking is easy and convenient. The shuttle drivers are kind, courteous, and fun to chat with. What finally compelled me to write a review was the service I received today. I had a change in my travel plans last night which led me to cancel my parking reservation and rebook a new one. A representative from Smart Park called to confirm my exact reservation so that she would not cancel the wrong one. She was kind and I appreciated her going out of her way to make sure I was taken care of. Overall, Smart Park is an affordable, efficient, and pleasant company to work with. Fantastic experience. Pulled in, someone in a van lead us to a spot, the worker loaded our luggage onto the van as soon as we parked, and then we were on the road to the airport. The whole process took 10 minutes. Today's experience was especially fast, but the parking experience is usually rather painless. Be sure to PRE-RESERVE a spot! So many people know about SmartPark and ONLY use SmartPark that a reservation is required. Google them and reserve via their website. Easy peasy. On the way back, you will call them as soon as you're ready to go. Sometimes the ride back is a little crowded or takes a longer time due to the volume of traffic at the airport, but the staff people are clearly doing their best. I highly recommend this place! Cheaper than airport parking, efficient, and you get to avoid driving your car through the airport traffic. read more

We've used Smart Park at the Philly Airport on several occasions. It is a good operation. Discount parking coupons can be found online;this past week's visit cost us $6.95per night for 7 nights, which cost us $56 total. Real easy...take a ticket...load luggage into van...lock car...go to airport. On arrival, call the #on your ticket, and a van will be there in 10 minutes.Unload to car, and pay on the way out. You hold your keys for the week. Lot is safe,as far as I can tell. It is well lit and is frequently circulated by the shuttle vans. Van drivers load and unload, are efficient, and friendly. Just give yourself a little more time on arrival; they like to load the shuttle vans before heading to the airport. They also offer a detailing service, but I can't say I've needed that for our minivan. This is a good business, and we will probably stick with them unless a cheaper alternative presents itself! read more

So everything seemed perfect. The van picked me up at my car as soon as I pulled in and on the return trip the driver was very nice and helpful. I also like the fact that you can make reservations so you don't have to worry about the lot being full. The surprise came when I went to remote start my car. Nothing. . the battery was dead. The driver had a guy with a jump battery there in literally less than a minute. My car started right up with the jump and then I realized why my battery was dead. The car alarm light was lit on my dashboard. My car alarm must have gone off enough times to kill my battery. You see the jets come in for landings right over the parking lot and they must have set off my alarm several times. The only reason I didn't rate Smart Park five stars is because of their location right under the flight path. Overall a great experience and friendly helpful staff but don't be surprised if your battery isn't happily waiting for you. read more

Great service! Did quick research and found that most of the parking places are the same price, so I went with the reviews. Finding this place was easy and so was parking. You have the option for self-park and valet. As soon as you park your vehicle, the pick up van is pretty much there to help you with your bags. Whoever helps you with your bags gives you a card of where to call for a pick up and a place to write down where you parked your car. Instructions on the card are very easy too! Smart Park is close to the airport and is about a five minute drive max. When my husband and I came back from our trip we got our luggage and called for a pick up and gave the necessary information: name, airline, number in party, etc. The Smart Park shuttle was there to pick us up within minutes! Once we got to our car, the nice gentleman helped us with our luggage and even scraped off the ice and snow on our vehicle! Highly recommended! read more

What a disappointment. We have been using SmartPark and it's affiliated lots for over 25 years, and we will not be doing so anymore. Smart Park used to be a dependable, friendly and smart choice for airport parking in Philadelphia. It has become the opposite of those words. Our experience began when we attempted to park at Smart Park's original lot. When we pulled up (with a reservation, keep that in mind), we were told by a person standing in the entrance "we are full, you have to go to our South Lot". I asked "do you mean Express Park South?". I received the answer "yeah". When I asked for a reason why the Smart Park lot was overflowing, and, most importantly, why did they take our reservation if they were going to oversell the amount of spots, he responded with "I dunno". He then told us to turn around with someone directly on our bumper, and spit out directions to Express Park South in an angry manner. We used Google maps to get there. We made our way to Express Park South. We followed the van to a spot (not because we were given one iota of assistance when we got there, just because we had been a client before, and knew how you were supposed to do it). After we parked, I called out to the van, because it started to leave without us. A man who worked there, came running over, and said "that one's full, you have to wait". I saw otherwise, but luckily, another van pulled up. I asked the man why should we have bothered to get a reservation for SmartPark if they weren't going to honor it, his response was: " not enough drivers, nobody wants to work, just the way of the world". What that has to do with a fundamental inability to count the number of available spaces versus reservation spots set aside is beyond me. Luckily, the van driver arrived, and took our bags to the van. We eventually made our way to the airport. On arrival back to Philadelphia: we followed procedures, called for pickup after getting our bags, and.....waited. And waited. After a 16 minute pause, I called back, and was told by a person who answered the phone: "I can't hear you, what do you want?". After shouting into the phone for a pickup, again, I ended the conversation. I then waited for another 5 minutes, and called again. I did get the person who answered the phone on the first attempt for pickup. I asked for pickup a third time, and asked why we had not been picked up. Her answer was that "we have vans that go every 10 minutes". When I stated that it was much longer than 10 minutes, she said "hold on, I will look into that" and then proceeded to HANG UP ON ME. I contemplated taking an Uber back to the lot, but the van pulled up. The driver took our bags, and drove the packed van to the lot. He did apologize for the wait. It is not, in any way, the van drivers fault that SmartPark needs to be avoided. The whole reservation and pick up system (which is handled by the dispatchers) is abysmal. Please don't be misled by the name, SmartPark is anything but that. read more

I just parked here last week for my vacation. Easy to and from the lot to the PHL airport. I got a coupon from the Clipper magazine for $5.95/day and paid $64 for 9 days- 20% service charge. Still, it's a bargain compared to the PHL garage and economy lots. Staff was friendly and helpful and were prompt to get us to our terminal gate. Simple phone call and the shuttle bus was at the baggage claim area to pick us up. read more

This was my first time parking my car at any parking lot. We usually take a cab or Uber to the airport, but given our new location, it wouldn't be cost effective. Our flight was leaving Philly airport at 8am on a Sunday morning. We were flying domestic, but we wanted to give ourselves more than enough time to park and get to the airport. I reserved our time for 6am. The day before, I received an email from Smart Park encouraging us to arrive 15 minutes before our scheduled time. We arrived closer to 5:50am. Once we pulled up to the gate, we were told parking was filling up and we were given the option to use the valet parking service at no additional cost. We went with it. It was actually easier because you simply pull up under a carport and transfer your luggage from your car to the shuttle. Before you leave, they provide you with a card with a number to call and instructions for when you return. Upon returning, once we retrieved our luggage from baggage claim, we called the number on the card provided, gave them our ticket number, valet check number and the number of individuals in our party. We may have waited for maybe 10 minutes for our van to arrive. When it arrived, the driver loaded our luggage on to the van and we got to the Smart Park lot in about 10 minutes. Upon arrival, our car was waiting for us. The driver unloaded the van and placed all of our luggage right near our car. On the way out, we paid our balance and that was it. No hidden fees or charges. Everything was smooth. I will definitely use Smart Park again. I recommend the valet parking service. It's convenient having your car right there under the carport waiting for you when you arrive. Also, they really stress that you retrieve your luggage first before calling them. There have been times when they'll get a call once travelers get off of their flight before even going to baggage claim. Sometimes, baggage claim takes a while and they can't necessarily wait around for you to collect your bags when they're making constant trips back and forth to the airport. read more

I reserved our spot in advance online. When we got to the lot, we were informed that it was full and were given directions to the South lot. Once we pulled in a van led us to our parking spot. The driver loaded our luggage into the van and we picked up one more family and we were off to the airport, fast and simple. The return to the lot was the issue. We called once we were outside of the terminal to be picked up. We were informed where to wait. After about 45 minutes a van showed up, unfortunately we were unable to get onto that van even though we were the first ones and show up to the spot to wait. They just pull up and its a free for all on who gets in the van. I was traveling with my family (there were 4 of us 2 being children). Another 20 minutes later another van shows up, this driver is asking for certain people, the other one didn't. Those people are no where to be found, so we have to run past others to get on the van. Just about 2 hours after our flight landed we were finally able to get to our vehicle. We did get one free day since we had to park in the south lot, but the wait after traveling all day was horrible. They have about 2-3 vans that fit about 10 people and when you have a few flights coming in and so many people needing to get a van to get to their car, it doesn't work so well. We saw a few other parking lot mini busses pull up multiple times. read more

Absolutely terrible. I'm finally done with this organization. I've been parking here for years and years and the service level has deteriorated dramatically over the last several months. The last several times I've parked with them their main lot and overflow lots have been full - even though I had a confirmed and pre-paid reservation. So they sent me over to their Expresspark South lot about 8 minutes away with traffic and lights. Not good for when you're trying to catch a flight. Then on the pickup I waited 48 minutes today from when I called til I got to my car bc they only have one van route for all 3 lots combined even though the Expresspark South is so far away. I fly every 2 weeks and this has happened quite a few times in the last few months. One time I waited just shy of an hour. Seriously. This is obviously ridiculous but they don't seem to care. They keep saying they're going to add a separate van route for the far away lot but they never do. And on top of it they've significantly raised rates. One time recently their system was down and I couldn't make a reservation ahead so they charged me the rack rate of $14.95 per day plus significant surcharges instead of the reservation rate of $10.95. When I explained to them that I've been parking here for years and I always make a reservation but their system was down they didn't care and basically said too bad. There are many other options like Jet Stream Parking and others with far better service and lower prices and now I'm taking my business elsewhere. I'm sure they could care less. read more
