    JUST DON'T DO IT!! The co-owner Jessilin Quint is committing fraud by offering all patients a "complimentary" LipiScan without disclosing it on her consent or establishing medical necessity. They then trick you into a TearLab - again without medical necessity. These allow them to bill your medical insurance with made up complaints and symptoms. This is all against the rules though! Medical necessity guidelines require the examination to happen first and the orders be documented. She also forged my 2014 note from one week to the next signed by another provider that no longer even works at the practice - and provided me BOTH PAPER COPIES! The credential O.D. magically disappeared and the signed date changed. Despite Jessilin Quints claims this is NOT the printed date and she blatantly lies about this. It is a well known FACT that the ELECTRONICALLY SIGNED date is a requirement and does not change. It's illegal to falsify a medical record! And let's not even talk about the fact that this employee left in 2015 - how is signing her name? How many other documents has she FORGED? She lied about half the "symptoms" in my chart and testing that requires Fluorescein dye - so if you ever saw her request your notes! Attempts to resolve this have met with harassing phone calls, lies, and intimidation - Jessilin Quint thinks she can threaten to "document things in my record" to get me to stop reporting her unethical behavior! Please document all the times I asked how you performed measurements and why tests were done for my insurance companies audit because I've sent them all the correspondence! Her office manager also used emails with the Farmingdale location for my children's records as an opportunity to further harass me despite them never being patients at the Augusta location or Dr Jessilin Quint. How many routine vision exams has she billed to medical insurances such as Aetna, Medicare, and Medicaid without establishing medical necessity and deceiving patients into advanced testing without clinical findings in order to get more money?!?! She presents herself as an expert, authors papers, and presentations all while knowingly going against every medical necessity guideline, ethical guidelines of her license, and FORGES a former employees signature on OFFICAL MEDICAL DOCUMENTATION. They even went as far as to alter my children's records from another provider to cover up the fact they FORGED my notes! The electronically signed date on an official medical record does NOT change. I'd love to know how a claim that was processed on 9/13 was signed in October! JUST RUN AWAY!!

When I called to alert the…read morebilling manager that this practice is illegal per Maine state statute Sec. 3. 22 MRSA §1718-E, the office personnel stated she would have the office manager call me. I told her that's fine but I don't have a lot of time in my work day to discuss illegal billing practices and this bill simply needs to be removed and/or zeroed out, and she hung up the phone on me. Avoid these rude lawbreakers at all cost.

    May 22, 2025 husband and I had eye exams @ Rodrigue Eye Center. We relocated here from Florida…read morewhere we had seen the same optometrist for many years. We never had any issues or concerns. It was our first visit at a new practice and I was prepared with my vision insurance. I should have been alarmed when staff insisted on getting our medical insurance cards, but did not want our vision insurance. I insisted on providing it, but to no avail. Our exams were very thorough and professional. Both seen at same time, a couple people provided our care as exam proceeded. Doctor and technician did a great job, made us comfortable and explained everything. Doctor noted a couple concerns that will require follow up. At close of visit we were required to pay for refraction which our vision insurance always covers. I figured I'd get a refund once insurance paid. But office staff billed only our medical insurance (while telling us it does NOT cover the refraction.) Upon receipt of medical insurance claims, I visited office AGAIN to ask them AGAIN to file with vision insurance. It's now been several more months and vision insurance has not been filed. I was assured they would submit for coordination of benefits, but never happened. Care and environment entirely positive.
