We purchased final arrangements that are affordable, all-inclusive, and lovingly explained in a professional and respectful manner.

The process was quick, and easy to understand. Seems like a very good value and will ease the burden on my family when I pass.

My only complaint would be that my loved one died on a Saturday morning. I tried to contact them on Sunday during business hours and spoke with someone who said a funeral director would call me back, but no one did. However, once I called on Monday and spoke directly with a funeral director, everything proceeded smoothly from there. All the paperwork is done on-line. Their prices are good, a big part of this is likely because the office on Millikan (in the City Hall Building in the Beaverton Round) is apparently just a small office with low overhead. The cremation is done through Riverview Abbey. It was done quickly and I was able to pick them up at the Millikan office (you can also pick up at Riverview Abbey). They can mail them to you as well. Obtaining death certificates through them was also easy, as was getting an obituary posted to their website. They are very professional, responsive, and happy to help.

They handled my father's cremation with professionalism and kindness, and they went above and beyond in supporting my mom through everything. Marcus, in particular, was incredibly patient and helpful. We visited the day after Good Friday, and due to a mix-up with the post office in our small Oregon Coast town, the death certificates weren't delivered properly. Marcus took the time to help my mom navigate the situation with empathy and clarity, easing a lot of stress during a confusing time. Everyone we interacted with was kind, honest, and helpful. If you ever find yourself needing support during such a serious and emotional time, we highly recommend this team. Thank you again for your compassion and guidance.

A few months ago, my mom finally hit the last road bump in her cancer journey. After she had some…read moreliver and pancreatic complications, she passed within just a few days of transitioning to hospice from the hospital. My dad ended up picking this funeral center to take care of her affairs. When she died, they gave us as long as we needed for family and friends to visit. My dad called when we were ready to have her picked up. The staff was very gentle and careful with her as they transferred her to the stretcher and took her down the stairs. The transporters were very respectful the entire time. Shortly after that, we had a fairly new representative come to our house to speak with my dad, sister, and I. I could tell as he went over the decisions we had to make, from the casket to the flowers, that he did not have a strong grip on the questions we brought up. He had to call the supervisor a few times to verify the details. He also tried to push extra add ons that we insisted we did not need. When he left the house, I just felt more confused than ever about the preliminary choices we made. This process made me feel unsupported in a situation where it felt like we were planning a wedding in a week. When we met with our actual rep Aimee in the office, she went through the schedule, clarified what we really wanted, what services we were looking for, and helped solidify the final price. On the day everything was finalized, we got to get a sneak peak of mom. I cannot say that her makeup was a good representation of how she really looked when she lived. The foundation helped cover up her jaundice pretty well. However the eyes and lips were too dark and contrasted. And her neck was sagging pretty badly in one spot. We asked for the correction to make her look more natural and put together. I know they tried but I was still not pleased with the final look. As the actual wake and funeral came and went however, Aimee and her assistant were always present. They respected the fusion of both the Catholic and Vietnamese tradition. They moved around and brought items in on command. They were very helpful with coordinating and streamlining the crowd. Basically everything we asked for, we got. I felt comfortable enough to take my fort off the gas petal and was just able to be with my mom and family. At the end of the week, they took her body to the cremation center, where my dad and I got to push the start button. The staff there was very accommodating of all the family that wanted to attend. They were very patient with our grieving and praying. I thought that this was the finale of the services. But in the aftermath, Aimee showed up at Mt. Calvary to put mom to rest. Her presence and support was greatly appreciated. I have no personal experience with a funeral process of an immediate family member before this. There were certainly ups and downs, some bumps in the road, but most everything ended as well as I could have hoped for. They were able to coordinate all these moving pieces in a short period of time. And having Aimee by our side was the high point of our experience with this company. It takes a special kind of person to be able to involved the way she is, with all types of people and situations. My mother was everything to me. She had sacrificed so much immigrating to America after losing everything. She raised me primarily by herself when I was young. And she never left my side until the day she died. The gravity of death is never easy, so it was nice to have accommodating, supportive, and responsive staff behind us. I hope not to, but would consider their services again in the future. Thank you.

When I called Autumn Cremation I got directly thru to a real human who was so helpful. Price for direct cremation was exactly what it should be (in this area about $600). He was able to give me the info I needed about coordination with the national cemetery and will do that coordination and paperwork free of charge. I will definitely be using this service and will update later with how the rest of the process goes.

But we are all getting older and I keep thinking of the old saying, nothing is ever guaranteed in this world but death and taxes. I guess I picked the wrong career to choose, but I am sure it wouldn't be in the Funeral business. Time for the review, we stopped in and checked this place out in Tigard ahead of time so we could soften the blow and reduce the surprises. Everyone we spoke with here was pleasant and soft spoken. I have heard of people spending thousands on burials and may have been taken advantage of in the time of grieving over a loved one. This place listened to what we wanted, didn't try to up sell anything and provided us with paper work ahead of time and let us know what was all involved. Fortunately the lack of reviews on this app didn't stop me from contacting them after learning the difference between standard cremation and Aquamation. Not only is this a less violent process it's a much better process for the environment without ANY drawbacks that I could identify. Joey the owner was truly empathetic to my situation as I spoke to him from the parking lot of Dove Lewis Pet hospital moments after I picked up my baby girl. He offered to pick Dini up from my house (and would have come to Dove Lewis if I had asked him to!) Without any additional charge! The "least expensive" cremation option given to me by Dove Lewis charges an outrageous fee of $200+ to pick up your pet! And they do traditional fire cremation. Joey met me at my house and took great care placing Dini in his van, assuring me that she would be treated with the dignity she and I deserved. Only 5 days later he let me know she was ready to come home. On Christmas Eve he delivered her ashes to me. The total cost for her individual (vs. group) Aquamation including pickup and delivery was $219! Much less than any other option I found and done with the greatest compassion and professionalism. I can't recommend them more highly! It was the bright spot in an otherwise terribly painful experience. Please do yourself and your pet a favor and contact them for any information you need to make your decision. I promise you won't regret it!

We had 17 amazing years with her and she went at home peacefully. But this made finding someone to take care of her remains difficult. Most cremation services only picked up from veterinary offices. The ones that did private care were outrageously expensive...nearing $1000 including transport. They were mostly unhelpful or outright unkind. Then I took a chance and opened the google listing for Oregon Aquamatoon. The owner himself, Joey, answered. He was kind and patient. They were so affordable by comparison and would come to our home to take Lilly. They tagged her with a metal tag that stayed with her. They put her beautiful, pure white sand remains in a lovely bamboo box with her pawprint laser etched with her name. They also gave us beautiful clippings of her fur sealed in a glass bottle. They dropped her back with us at a time that worked with my work schedule so she wouldn't be left alone. They donated her blanket to a cat rescue. I cant say enough about this company. They are heavensent. We miss our girl so much but her transition and final rest were so peaceful.
