So much to choose from and the staff is super helpful and if somone is not on the shelves and you ask theu will go to the back and see if there is any. Just a really nice market to go shopping for healthy foods.

Fine like wine ;)

My experience at this Smart & Final has been an ok one regarding the items I buy. I'm giving a 3 though because they definitely do need to enforce the face mask issue. Last few times my man & I have come here we've noticed people not wearing their face masks! They should NOT be allowed to shop anywhere if they choose to be inconsiderate assholes. I'm like yes Karen, yes Donald masks are annoying, but in these times we live in we don't want to expose ourselves to any potentially harmful virus. I mean most of us will be ok if we get it, but we risk our elderly loved ones or sick loved ones & my man & I love his grandparents whom we happen to see often. We don't know how long they'll be around as it is, but we sure as fuck don't want them to go out by a virus. I can't blame Smart & Final for these rude, inconsiderate assholes, but I can blame you for not enforcing the required government mandated rules of having a face mask on. People can sue for that. Workers you can enforce the law by letting the non face mask wearers know at the door or at the line (preferably at the door upon arrival) that you won't check them out unless they have a mask or a doctors note making it ok to go mask-less. There's many people that have compromised immune systems that have no choice but to go grocery shopping, TAKE CARE OF YOUR CUSTOMERS & enforce the rules.

One of the beautiful selections of orchids this store carries.

I love coming to this store not only for their prices but also for their stock. Lately I'm surprised to find less produce and also low on our favorite bacon which is First Street brand. Maybe I came on a day when they haven't received their shipment but still I noticed they were low on quite a few of our favorite produce including the fresh wheat grass that they never seem to have anymore. Never the less they are doing a great job of still sanitizing as much as possible during the Covid season and I actually feel safe shopping at this market. I also absolutely love the beautiful plants they have and I always make room for one more beauty to bring home.

Grand opening today. Free reusable grocery bags with purchase. Its very busy and parking is a pain! The store laid out is convienent with wide aisles. My favorite departments were the fresh produce, bulk goods including coffee and a great meat selection. The specials for the grand opening were good and run the entire week. The location is much closer then the La Habra store so I'll be a regular here!

Uptown Provisions - Egg Salad Sandwich.. so good!

The sambal chili aioli was a sleeper - it packed in a ton of unexpected spice. Deliciously unexpected. The thick toasted brioche bun also added a layer of sweetness. We ordered the turkey BLT because it was a special. It was, of course, delish, but I should have kept to the tried and trues. I'll definitely be back. Also PSA and order your sandwiches for pickup. We waited for quite a bit in the heat even though we visited at an off hour (on a Sunday). Also, there's a nearby park closer to Uptown you can enjoy your sandwiches.

Keep in mind I ordered around 12:50pm and the sandwich was ready at 1:45pm. I ordered the Spicy Gabagool Sandwich, and there were barely any mixed greens as compared to other reviews & the menu photo (I love my veggies)! The meats were yummy, but they did not stand out to me/didn't taste anything special. Unfortunately, the same goes for the bread. However, I did like the packaging of the sandwich and everything in the sandwich tasted well together; the chile spread, burrata, hot honey, pickled onions, meats.. the spice level is definitely tolerable; I didn't need water at all. It was more of a small kick. I also tried their lemon crumb bar and it was very delicious! If anything I would come again to try more of their unique baked goods. Overall, I enjoyed the ambiance of the shop. It is quite small and there are many people waiting for their order inside. There is only outdoor seating, which is scarce.

No one was around to help him, and when he called the manager, Raquel, over for help, she seemed mad and bothered instead of being patient or supportive. Raquel asked him how he was doing with the produce codes, and he honestly said he was getting better but still needed to look at the sheet by the register for help. Instead of encouraging him, she got upset and told him he needed to memorize all the codes and not look at the book. She then compared him to herself, saying that when she first started, she memorized the codes fast and never needed help. As a customer, this was very uncomfortable and upsetting to witness. The employee was clearly trying his best, and there was no reason to embarrass him in front of customers. A new employee should be trained with patience and respect, not made to feel bad for asking for help. After seeing how management treats their employees, I do not feel comfortable supporting this market anymore. I will not be returning, and I hope the owners take this seriously because employees deserve respect, patience, and basic kindness at work.

Unfortunately, that experience has completely changed. Every single time I come in now, the only thing open is self-checkout. If I wanted to scan and bag all my own groceries, I could go to Food 4 Less or ALDI and save money while doing it myself. The whole reason many of us shop here is because we expect better service. It's incredibly frustrating to spend premium grocery prices and still have to do the work ourselves. On top of that, bagging groceries properly actually matters -- especially when buying produce, eggs, meat, or fragile items. Employees who are trained to bag groceries make a difference, and it's disappointing that customer service seems to be disappearing completely. I understand stores are trying to cut costs, but eliminating staffed checkout lanes is hurting the customer experience. Long-time customers notice the difference, and it honestly makes me question why I should continue shopping here instead of going somewhere cheaper. I really hope management starts valuing customer service again and keeps actual checkout lanes open consistently.
