Was ranged up by employee David who was friendly and chatty with the previous customer but when my wife and I were next not only did David throw the stick at us, he continued to bag our groceries carelessly, he afterwards rudely handed my wife the receipt all while not saying a word to us. I like it here. Parking is always pretty easy breezy and the workers here are pretty friendly. Their rotisserie chicken is always pretty good. Customer service is decent-- all the workers were really friendly and attentive. The only con to this market is the located in a sketchy neighborhood, which can't really be changed. Although it's sketchy on the outside, it seems pretty safe. Overall, it's a good market. I would definitely return to do some grocery shopping! read more

There are never any shopping carts available anytime. No employees go to collect them, there's always little gnats flying in the produce section. The manager is really nice, Rick. Most of the cashiers are really nice , Megan is not: she's lazy and always eating at the register. I will no longer be going to this store as it's just dirty and gross. read more

She made it happen! 6/1/2019 9:30pm 27 items to shop and closing time 10pm First time in this location and I didn't know the layout. As we all know shopping can be a challenge in todays market with so many offerings. From time to time I come across individuals who stand out and are willing to ensure a "stress free" shopping experience. I interact with many costumer service representatives on the daily. I hate coming into this smart and final with a pure passion in my soul and I'm not even trying to be dramatic. The staff is great, I have no issue with them. It's the ridiculously long line that's always wrapped around the corner when you're ready to checkout, the never having any variety in products especially when I came specifically for the one thing I needed and they never have it, rude shoppers that don't know how to share the aisle or say excuse me, drivers that will literally cut you off in the parking lot and take your parking spot that you clearly were waiting for and had your blinkers on for, it's the shoppers leaving the carts in the middle of the road and middle of parking spaces instead of just returning the cart back where it belongs. just the overall energy at this store is draining and negative and is an obvious product of its environment. I try to avoid coming here but unfortunately it's the nearest store by my bfs place so he ends up driving us to this God forsaken place. I could rant for hours but I'll rest my case. read more

This is my second time going to a Smart & Final. This isn't a store that I've always had access to, so I usually never go here. My husband and I were in the area for a mini vacation, and we wanted some produce so we decided to stop by here. The interior is actually very clean and spacious. They were well stocked, and we were there very well into the afternoon. We purchased strawberries and some bottled smoothies. The strawberries were on sale for an amazing price so we couldn't pass up on them. They were fresh and sweet too! The only small problem we had with this place was checkout. There were only a few registers open and the lines were extremely long. Maybe they were short staffed, so I would understand that, but we spent way more time in line than we did actually shopping. Other than that, this is a really good grocery store! read more

Went to this store for a few things. The cashier Jose who was some sort of manager got a rude attitude with me after I bought the last box of some snack on discount rack guess he wanted idk. Email coupon advertised in weekly flyer for First Street Wide Pan Bread 24 oz. for $0.49 after signing up with email has never been received (checked after 1 minute, then 5 minutes, and then 10 minutes). Meat prices on delivery website are way, way, way, overpriced!!!! If I could give 5-stars for just the checkout chicks at this store, I would!!! Came by to pick up three items. I saw a check out line without the light on but there was someone at the register there helping one person. I asked if he was closed and he said he could help me out as the last person. He asked me if I could place the closed sign on the conveyor belt which I did right at the end of it so anyone approaching can see it. A person with her cart comes by sees the sign and promptly dumps her groceries on top of the sign, completely ignoring the sign. The employees didn't blink an eye and helped her out. read more

This is the most disgusting Smart & Final I've ever walked into! Went into the restroom to see feces dried up on the wall in the women's restroom. Seat covers and paper towels scattered all over the floor. The smell of urine was overwhelming. What made it worse, was seconds before as I was walking in, an employe was walking out. You would think she would have taken the time to tidy up a bit. I can only imagine what the rest of the store looks like. I don't care if the staff is friendly.
