Discrimination still exists - my husband walked into this location to purchase dish soap. A black man who was dressed nice (not that it matters). He went to walk out of the secured area to get other items and was stopped by the Ralph's employee stating he had to pay before leaving that area. Today, I went into that Ralph's, white woman, dressed confidently, to purchase an item in that same area. I smiled and walked out without paying and moved on to get my other items I needed to purchase. Sad we still live in a world where we classify someone by the way they look! I come to this store about once a month. I've always had a very good experience. The employees are always very helpful and friendly. Today, I had the pleasure of being assisted by Jeanette in the Bakery Department. She went out of her way to make sure I was able to secure the item I needed. Sylvester was my cashier. 3 Stars Rating for Overall Experience Our cashier, Alicen, was initially unsure how to proceed and consulted with Service Lead Daniel. Daniel incorrectly refused a printed e-gift card, claiming it had to be physical (even though it worked at another store). After we asked for a manager, Daniel apologized, saying he'd learned via email that the printed e-card was valid. Fortunately, Assistant Front Service Lead Joey then stepped in. Joey was nice and patient while processing the necessary returns and re-processing the purchase with the e-gift card, professionally resolving the issue. read more

Today's encounter with a check out cashier was disgusting and offensive to say the least. Rude, confrontational, and no customer service skills what so ever it was beyond anything I have ever witness from Ralph's Supermarket. Allison was her name and I am differently going to report her to the store director and hopefully they will address this street like behavior. I'm surprised this store is still open. Quality of food is always lacking - dried out chicken pieces, wings and potato wedges. 9/10 fresh produce will have mold in several containers whether it's berries, tomatoes, mushrooms or lettuce. Really gross!! read more

First, being a Senior Male most grocery stores just Won't bag my groceries for me unless I ask or just bag them myself, sometimes I can see the checker in the next Isle bagging groceries for women. But on October 17, 2025 at Approx. 6:23pm Isle 3 Cashier Name: Sylvia B. provided me with the best CUSTOMER SERVICE I've had since 1979! Went for their 8 pc chicken special, it was around 2pm and all they had was a bunch of wings and breasts. The extremely large guy behind the counter told the lady in front of me they're out of drums and thighs and they only had wings and breasts, but he'll charge her the special price anyway. Then the guy tells me he has to charge me regular price. When I asked him when they'll have drums and thighs he says "when I get to it". With all the negative complaints, this Ralphs needs a serious employee make-over. ‍ read more

I hope someone in the future studies how self checkouts helped to perpetuate racism with store employees because it happened during my visit to this Ralph's on 8/23. My son in I went in here to grab a couple of items. I try not to go in here too much because even with the Ralph's card the prices are way to high on nearly all of their items. But it's one of the few grocery stores that's close in the area so most people like me go there because it's a necessary evil; it's close and therefore convenient. I only had 3 items so I naturally went to self checkout. I got there just as someone was leaving and someone else was walking up beside me. Excluding myself, there were 3-4 other customers using the other self checkouts and an older, balding man with a beard and glasses who who looked to be a store manager or some shift lead or something. He was over the check out area. Now again, there were 4 other people there checking out the same time as me. And yet as I'm checking out - which I did so quickly because, as I mentioned, I only had 3 items - and as I turned to go and leave, I damn near collided with him because the whole time I was checking out, he's standing directly behind me, watching. Like I said, there were 4 other people checking out the same time as me, yet I was the only one being watched. And I'm pretty sure...no. Not even sure. I'm ABSOLUTLEY certain it's because I'm Black. Whoever this man was, he doesn't need to be working with the pubic. If you can embrace cultural stereotypes enough to where it dictates how you do your job, especially when you're working with the public, you shouldn't be working with the public. What's worse is that I'm sure that I'm not the only Black person he's done this to as well. read more

Store has gone downhill since Rite Aid closed. Area is overrun with the homeless. I see a security guard wandering around however most times his head is down and he's looking at his cell phone. No longer feels safe. read more

It's already low on stars... not surprised. I tried to get through the kiosk due to having less than 15 items. Adriana was too busy on her phone and said they can take you over there. I mentioned i was taken there before with this many items so not sure what the problem is. So I went to the other line where Lex Luthor was ringing people up. I brought it to his attention and he acted like he didn't here even though there was only 7 people in the store.... Let me guess you're the manager right lol. What a joke. Last time I reviewed this place was back in 2017 and I have to say nothing has changed the customer service is great (Carmen and the Flower Lady) they always greet us and make us feel extremely comfortable. Its clean, tidy and cold in here. When there is a line most registers are open. The employees here are courteous and work extremely fast. read more

I've been going to this store for 25yrs for most shopping..the service is getting worse. For example today I had a large purchase..EVERY Checkstand was closed..I was directed to self checkout. First problem after scanning item the receiving table to small..had to put back into shopping cart..this caused scanner to freeze..had to call attendant over 6 times...took long time to check out. I wasn't going to write this review, but it still bothers me especially after being a customer for so long at this location. New Year's Eve, I went to buy fried chicken for my family. I asked for an 8 piece and the little lady said "I just put new chicken in the fryer, it may take ten minutes or so to be ready." I asked if I could pay for the chicken NOW and I'll be back to pick it up after I finished my shopping. She said, "Oh you don't need to do that. It will be ready when you come back." I finished my shopping. It was very crowded since it was after 5pm NYE. I get back to the deli and see the lady who I talked to earlier. Instead of her coming out, she had a taller, slim young lady come out. I told her I was there to get 8 pieces fried chicken. She said, "All of this chicken that just finished cooking was bought by them." She pointed to two Hispanic young ladies. I said "ALLLL of that chicken is for them?" She said "Yes, they just bought it." I said well, I was here 1st and asked for an 8 piece and even tried to pay for it and the other lady told me it will be ready in 10 minutes and when I offered to pay for it and come back with the receipt she said it will be ready for me when I get back and I didn't need to prepay. Now, you've sold ALL the fried chicken to another customer. At this point I wondered if she simply forgot I wanted to buy chicken or if it was a RACE issue because I'm Black and the worker is Hispanic like the customers she gave ALL the chicken to...maybe for their NYE Party or something. I asked if I can get at least my 8 piece and she said "Sorry they already paid for it ALL." I was upset. I didn't think it was right and I thought it could've been racist. The fresh food section is pretty slow, everytime I go there's no one there so I have to find a staff member to call someone to help me. Their employees pretty much stick to their areas so if you need help somewhere and you ask the wrong associate, you're waiting. I do love their discount racks, they have great finds there. Their curbside pick up is pretty slow here but I do appreciate the last time they took $3 off because of the slow service. read more

Do not buy any gift cards here !!! They sell compromised gift cards and will not stand behind them. I bought 2 50$ Home Depot cards when I opened them they had already been used I went back and was told to contact Home Depot I did and Home Depot told me if I bought them at a Home Depot they would just issue me new cards , however they told me that Ralph's would have to make good on them. INTERIOR - very clean - organized FRESH FOOD - there's fresh produce, seafood bar, bakery section, they sell fresh chicken PRICE - a little on the pricey side, make sure bring your Ralph's card so save a good chunk of money. - check the back for a $1 loaf of bread, and fruit OVERALL - one of the cleanest and best Ralph's in the area with so many parking spots! I want to point out that this is the reason why stater bros in Ontario in Ranch has beat Ralphs in customer service by 1 million times today I walked in and I use my Ralph's membership card and instead of giving me the Creek discount price that I had and gave me four dollar short so I asked them why they said it to do digital coupon I stated that my phone doesn't have actual service we were download the app that I actually did have, but I've been a customer here since they neglected to honor their cell headed up walking out I will never be coming into Ralph's again and I can't believe this is the way that she customers. read more

Ralphs keeps keeps change policy! Other establishments like The Home Depot, McDonald's, 7-Eleven give you your change when you pay cash. It must be a coin sourcing problem that Ralph's has. If Ralph's really cares about their customers they should round down instead of rounding up. read more

Costumer Services here is exceptional by far. First it's an older Ralph's, it's a smaller grocery store and they didn't have 2 things that I was looking for but didn't necessarily have to have or have to buy. This young guy with all black on black tie up vans (I hate that I didn't ask his name) he did carry a white lanyard that had red lines / print on it Anyway this guy was attentive! He first greeted my toddler and I at the bread aisle and was loud with a big genuine smile and positive demeanor Again a few minutes later while I was at the express check out he was helping Carmen (cashier) bag my items I asked for them to ring me up for a plastic bag and without a doubt or any negative response this guy said "Plastic, certainly, you got it!" I mean he was just on top of his game! I noticed cashiers moves fast while not committing errors and still attending to customers needs. This guys and the cashier Carmen wished me a good night and this young man also topped my day off with "you have a blessed day" as he looked straight at me with confidence he must be 19-20 years old brown goldish hair anyway costumer service like this is hard to come by keep up the great work and thank you for taking pride in what you do, it shows. read more

I don't usually write reviews, however I had to today.... I walked into Ralph's this morning right after opening to pick up some balloons for my babies birthday. I was happily greeted by a wonderful lady by the name of Ina. She immediately started making conversation, first question she asked was "how was your Valentines? Did you get lots of flowers?" I proceeded to let her know my husband no longer buys me flowers because then I complain that he spent too much money. We laughed about it and she finished with my balloons. When I was leaving I paid for balloons and she handed me a small bouquet of the Valentine's Day flowers and said "well here are your flowers, Enjoy them Happy Valentines Day" It was such a grand and sweet gesture that it completely made my day and me feel special. Keep up the good work Ina, just for that I will make sure to shop at Ralph's more. read more
