I don't usually write reviews, however I had to today.... I walked into Ralph's this morning right after opening to pick up some balloons for my babies birthday. I was happily greeted by a wonderful lady by the name of Ina. She immediately started making conversation, first question she asked was "how was your Valentines? Did you get lots of flowers?" I proceeded to let her know my husband no longer buys me flowers because then I complain that he spent too much money. We laughed about it and she finished with my balloons. When I was leaving I paid for balloons and she handed me a small bouquet of the Valentine's Day flowers and said "well here are your flowers, Enjoy them Happy Valentines Day" It was such a grand and sweet gesture that it completely made my day and me feel special. Keep up the good work Ina, just for that I will make sure to shop at Ralph's more. read more

This is really the only local super market around for the houses around. It has help with the expansion of Eastvale and the new locations off of Limonite, but really the go to spot. The location also boast a US Bank Branch inside. I have only positive experiences here and often times Ralphs will carry items that are more difficult to come by. In addition, you can make requests for items they do not have in stock. read more

Just left the store crying because the woman named Christine at the register was very high tense stressed out and made me nervous with her condescending "I know more than you abrasive attitude." I didn't even have any issues with her and even said I have a disability and I forgot to get the tequila for my shopper, but now I know. I told her she didn't have to explain anymore to me in a nice way and then as I was walking out she said,"don't shop here no more!" I then did a princess bending at the knees move and said, "I won't because I don't live here" with a smile. She did not have to say that to me because it seemed like because I didn't want her to explain to me in a condescending manner the rules of the store that she didn't like that and wanted to fight. I didn't have time or never have time to squabble because it's beneath me. I'm not an argumentative person and I was very nice to her admitting I forgot to ask for the tequila and that's that. They sold rotten food. I bought the veggie package on clearance and the expiration date is supposed to be for tomorrow. When I opened the package though, there was mold and all the food just smelled rotten. Ralph's needs to be better about their quality check, regardless of clearance items or not. read more

People don't realize that this is an older store, so it is very small. This store was built when the population was also very small so it carried more than enough for the population back then. Ralphs does not own the building so there is nothing that they can do when it comes to the size of the store nor is there anything that they can do when it comes to the holding power of items. The storage room in the back can only hold so much. There are so many customers they buy more product at times than the store can hold. So some times it runs out of certain popular items. There are so many customers, it is even hard for employees to handle the amount of people that come in resulting in, missed breaks, late lunches, overwhelmed employees, and so on. The employees do the best they can to appease the customers, when it is a never-ending rush of people it really takes a toll. Have mercy, the employees are trying to be fast, nice, and as efficient as possible. It also doesn't help when there are customers who are extremely rude and not at all understanding. The employees are obligated to make it right for you, if you have a problem with a product they will do the best they can to accommodate you. I can honestly say from alot of the people I have encountered, holy hell. I go shopping other places and run into people I see at ralphs all the time and I literally turn the other direction as soon as I see them. So keep that in mind as well. About half the workers in that store are your neighbors, and you will most likely run into them other places in the area as well and even if you don't remember them they definitely remember you. read more

Omg! Got a birthday cake for our son. First , the associate said they worked there for 12 years . Given that longevity i believed they had a good idea they know how to decorate a cake . Chose a simple cake and wanted "happy birthday " written with icing . What I got was unbelievably sad and shocked ! I've never seen a cake like this and be satisfied of the work . I didn't want to throw away food because of the outcome , I paid for it and served it to family knowing this was the best work : bakery product this store did. Even sadder, the associate was happy with it . I personally will not come back if this is the best product Ralph's is proud to serve . read more

Went in this morning for last minute cupcakes for my sons class. The staff on the floor all seemed friendly saying "good morning", "hello", BUT when you get to the register the lady Jeanne needs to improve on her customer service skills. No good morning no thank you no eye contact but is just rude! If you don't like your job maybe you should think about switching to a occupation where you don't have to deal with people. read more

This Ralph's is one of the dirtiest Ralph's that I have shopped at. The deli section is the worst, never buy meat there because they often do not clean the meat slicer, c-attached photo. read more

Sunday 5:30 PM. Visited this Ralph's to grab some apple juice, oranges and organic tomatoes. first thing inside the door I noticed there are no carts not even any hand baskets. really?! So I proceeded to do my shopping without a cart. No organic tomatoes. None at all. The price of the oranges was quite a bit higher than several other stores prices in the area. The price on the Apple juice was good though and they had plenty on hand. Happen to see what appeared to maybe be a good special on K- coffee cups but the signage was not very clear about which ones were on sale. Besides, you have to buy four to get the sales price and I have no cart, anyway. Checker was nicer than others we've have there though in spite of the busy time. If only there were a better grocery store this close to home. :-( read more

This is the first Ralph's I've ever shopped at. This is my go-to store now, since moving to Ontario. Close to home and wonderful produce selection. The grapes are awesome! They are not the cheapest, WinCo has way better prices. But Ralph's has Boars Head meats and cheeses, lingonberry jam and the rewards card is very helpful. Clean place, very happy, helpful employees. Flower department sucks. Went in to purchase a simple ready made set of flowers and the lady was gossiping with someone. After waiting without even being acknowledged and I walked away and yelled thank you. Staff member still didn't bother looking my way. Paid at the regular register and they still were talking. I thought I was the only one who had bad experiences at Ralph's.... so many times I have to say that's it...no more...been going on for years... I don't know what just not happy campers working there and seems like not any real consistent training in customer service and cleanliness...A few people go out of their way to be decent to you..it's their natural way... but Ralph's per se at fault for not caring about giving their people training and so forth consistently and help to be proud of where they work and such... thanks again for your help and support... You can see from all the reviews,.. not happy people and been somewhere too long without behavioral corrections...There are tons of great training materials and resources out there...they really just don't care about their people and helping them to be proud of where they work... read more

Was in here a few days ago and saw a staff member get berated by a customer because they were "out of tofu again" in the middle of a pandemic. The staff member handled it with SUCH grace! I've been shopping here for a while, and have never had issues. The night staff is really great. read more

Had a really bad experience this afternoon with supposed Checker then turn bagger Reanna when I brought it to the manager's attention Dino he handled and have me $1.50 to compensate me what thought to be the correct amount but then I asked isnt the itrm suppose to be free!! He said no!! Ok when I got back to my car and noticed that I was shorted by almost $4 he tried to cover up by saying there was no mistake I was like no she rang me up wrong anyway Rihanna decides to come over to the checkout stand and just lean over and stand there and then proceeded to coughing in my face which I said please don't cough in my face. This place is gross. The employees are all disheveled, the managers act like they don't want to be there and it flat out feels dirty. I've been shopping here because it's the only grocery store nearby, but when the checker burped today I was done. The final straw. I'll be driving to Eastvale from here on out. read more

Horrible customer service called to ask for a product from the meat department. Robert answered the phone when I asked for the product he seemed confused and said they did not carry it. I asked him do you know what I'm talking about he said no so. I said if you don't know what I'm talKing about how do you knoW you don't carry it he said I'm the manger so I know we don't have it so I asked to speak to the store manger and he said no so I said you won't transfer me to the manger he said no. I asked him so then your sayinG if I want to talk to the manger I have to call back he said yes you can call back and hung up on me. So i can image how the other employees treat customers if the manger treats customers that way. I will never shop there again and will tell others not shop there either read more

Friendly Checkers..but avoid 7am visits. The vendors restocking are rude and will run you over with their carts. Vons across the street is much easier to shop in the morning. read more

i picked up a bouquet of flowers for my mother on saturday morning priced at $4.99, and when i got to the check out it turned out to be $9.99. i was so baffled at why is a simple bouquet of daisies were so expensive. anyway, i was about to give them up and move on with my day, but one of the managers, john, ended up giving me the said price instead! i was so shocked at how thoughtful his gesture was. i ended up realizing why it was so expensive, due to the fact that i didn't put in my phone number for the ralph discount. either way, the gesture was just so kind! i never had any issues coming to this ralphs, but after last week, i'll definitely be back much more often. the customer service was just great. read more

How does a market run out of normal items every market should have? Like garlic? Waste of time to stop here. Drive farther to Cardenas of Stater Bros for everything. They need to close and replace this market with something, anything would be better. read more

I was extremely surprised at the lack of quality at this Ralph's location. I have shopped at Ralph's in Riverside (Canyon Crest Drive) and Los Angeles (9th and Figueroa) and this Ralph's is really just disgusting in comparison. It is a smaller Ralph's without the Freshfare selection. The options are limited and the vegetables are actually in the processes of rotting. I have found carrots and green peppers with mold on them actually setting on the shelf. I am beginning to wonder if Ralph's does a selection process when deciding to ship their vegetables. Do they send their high quality vegetables to the Freshfare stores? While I wouldn't say that this area is economically poor, it is not as well-to-do as the areas surrounding the Downtown Los Angeles store and the Riverside neighboorhood these other Ralph's are in. I feel like Ralph's may be sending lower quality goods to their stores in areas that they have deemed lower income. To say the least, I am very disappointed and feel cheated. read more

And for the record, I had one person tell me that Ralph's and Food 4 Less are the same company. Thanks for enlightening me with that useless fact, because it still doesn't explain the difference in prices, sales , and most importantly the selection of meats and seafood. If I could give no stars I would. Not only are prices OUTRAGEOUS but the customer service could be compared to the .99 cent only stores! The checkers are texting or just standing around sitting on the registers, the baggers are drinking out of jack n the box cups AS they bag your groceries. I have never seen such an unprofessional environment in my life. It's no surprise why stores like these are shutting their doors. They should take customer service notes from companies like Stater Brothers, who are OPENING new doors rather than closing them. read more

Lisa who works in customer service is possibly the rudest and least helpful person I have ever met. Maybe she was having a bad day or maybe that is simply her attitude. Who knows. Either way, she should not be working in customer service with that type of attitude. It's unfortunate that this is the only grocery store near my home. read more

I like to come to Ralph's because it is my n neighborhood store. The prices are good, esp when you use the digital coupons. They recently did a nice remodel of the store. Also when they notice the line with more than two people they open another register. read more
