Smart and final is my go to store every other week. Fresh eggs, fresh meat, very well stocked pantry items and a great produce and organic produce selection. Their team members are always helpful and friendly, especially Tabitha, great cashier, friendly, and very helpful. They have everything from sundries to fresh produce, especially organic, to Wines, bierd, and other snack items. Great store will always be coming here. read more

I shop here at least once a week.I buy certain items here that Smith's and Albertson's do not have.That said Smart and Final is lacking in several areas as a retail grocer compared to the competition. There is no bakery or deli counter.Aside from the rotisserie chickens there is no prepared food or meal kits for that matter.Sometimes they have an express lane but just sporadically, and there is no self check out.I like most of the produce.The meat prices are high,except for a few sale items like chicken breasts.Bought eggs today 2.99.There First Street store brand is absolute garbage,just about anything I buy gets thrown out.Bought some napkins 500 for 3.99,which sounds great but they are not much thicker than tissues.Spend the extra dollar or two and buy a name brand. I have bought Kroger and Private Selection branded products from Smith,s and have had way better quality and savings. read more

I've been coming to smart and final for grocery shopping maybe 15 years and was trying to get the hang of using the app last summer when my truck was in the shop and couldn't pick up groceries I probably called the store like 15 times asking for Tabitha because I was having trouble with the app ordering groceries food delivered and she was really patient while also really helpful! when I go in the store she's always working really hard over the years I really come to look forward to seeing her and just thought I would post a review saying that I appreciate Smart and final for their great deals on bulk items and seeing my friend Tabitha working her heart out every single time I go in there!! for 15 years. Someone in line there with me that knows her had mentioned that her father passed away recently a couple weeks ago and she's just diligently working with quiet composure. I hope people treat her nicely at check out people can be so mean. I would be all weepy and stuff even though I'm a big tough guy.. Five stars over here!! read more

The people that work there are awesome! The company itself, not so much. Especially for senior citizens and the handicapped. You go in and shop, before you leave the store, they scan your cart. I know they get stolen a lot by homeless people. But scanning my cart and me leaving it in the cart stand afterwards doesn't guarantee the cart doesn't get stolen or that I stole it.. The riding carts for the handicapped never get scanned. They get left anywhere and get stolen. They are a necessary item for those that aren't able to walk through the store. The riding carts should be checked in and out for use. If you come into the store for the riding cart, you are able to bring the riding cart back. The company doesn't want to piss people off by making them check the riding carts out. It they don't mind pissing off the handicapped people who now have no carts to ride to shop. And they would rather lose the money from the people that would use the carts but can't now. I am a senior citizen that can't lift heavy stuff. My husband can't walk even the distance of an aisle but can lift the heavy stuff.he can't come shopping with me anymore without the riding carts. So it's left to me to do it all. There are many people that are handicapped that can't shop there now. Not just senior citizens. You are losing valuable customers and dollars to your stores when you don't give a crap about people. Smart and Final is a large company in more than 1 state. Why not keep riding carts in the warehouse to distribute to the stores when something happens? Make people check them out for use. It is for the customers benefit to assure that there is a riding cart available for them next time. Use GPS on the carts. If stolen, locate the cart, call the police and the media and let the thief be shown on the news as the thief they are. That will make them stop. Another suggestion is to check Facebook Marketplace and other sites for anyone selling riding carts. I don't think a handicapped person would steal the carts. I believe they are being painted and resold. read more

My wife went there to get corned beef. They had an online coupon. She had to download the app. It wouldn't download. The cashier did nothing to help her and even while seeing the problem charged regular price. We can go elsewhere for customer service, because they sure don't have it here. read more

Hours say they close at 10pm, went there at 915pm just to find the doors won't open and the entrance blocked. Sign in the door even says the store closes at 10pm. Maybe update your hours or keep to the published ones read more

Thursday - 6/11/20 I don't normally come here very often...just to pick up their to-die-for salad dressing called Vidalia OnionVinegarette Dressing. Bottle says it's great for dips and marinade, but I use it exclusively for my tossed green salads. Thank goodness for Smart & Final! It's the only place I know of that carries this salad dressing! read more

It was my first time visiting this Smart & Final store and I just had to write a review immediately. I used to work in a grocery store, so seeing as this place was really neat and organized, I was simply amazed. The people who also worked here were courteous and friendly. Me and my family were greeted as soon as we walked in. I also liked how clean it was in here. The prices were reasonable too. Definitely coming back here to buy in bulk some walnuts for my diet plan. Overall, nice environment and nice workers too. They really show how much they care for their store and their customers. read more

Went in yesterday morning 4/25 around 9:30ish. Please be aware that you HAVE to wear a mask to shop in the store. The store was very clean and organized. Walking in there is sanitizer and paper towels to wipe down your shopping cart, all the store employees were very nice and helpful wiping down freezer handles and shelves. For those with anxiety like myself it was very calming to shop in the grocery and store and have a little bit or normalcy. Shelves were stocked with food and few things missing here and there but nothing major. This location is amazingly clean! Doesn't smell gross has a disinfectant smell which I like. There are wipes accessible and everything is very organized. The veggie sections is alittle sparse but the veggies they do have are fresh. The prices are pretty good and sales are amazing. Cashiers are nice and stickers with the exception of 1 are very helpful. One needs to stay in the back away from customers but he is the exception to the employees. Love love LOVE this store. The produce is always beautifully displayed and delicious. It's rare I can't find something I'm looking for and the prices are great. In fact, they rival Costco! I can only hope they keep the cleanliness and costs the same through the years to come. The only thing I take issue with is that they always seem to have one register open and a lot of people waiting in line. Spent $1.79 on a stalk of celery. My mistake. Used one rib and tossed the rest. I've had spaghetti noodles more firm. Ambrosias apples are my husbands' favorite. $2.49 a pound and had to DIG for one that wasn't rotten and shriveled. The produce at this store is ...well ROTTEN. read more

I'm done shopping at Smart & Final Extra on Flamingo probably all Smart & Finals! They pick and choose what they should carry and what they shouldn't depending on what people buy this is poor poor place to go shopping I would not recommend it to anybody! And when the checkered asks you if you found everything you wanted and you say yes or no and then you tell him what you did not find they stopped talking to you so I'm posting this to anybody and everybody do not shop at this store shop at Smith's or wherever but avoid this store it's horrible read more

Been going here for 15 years and I must say recently the prices are no longer competitive... they've gotten really expensive I can buy on Amazon prime cheaper. Use to be able to get in and out now the check out lines on a Saturday afternoon are 20 minutes or more. I won't be shopping there again. read more

An upscale Smart & Final?!? Up until today, I wouldn't have thought this possible but it's true! The clerk told me that this store, called Smart & Final EXTRA opened in December 2015 and it has everything that you'd normally see at SnF except this store is newer, cleaner, larger and has a much better selection than the traditional stores. One of the biggest areas of improvement would be the much larger produce section which even has bulk foods bins which I've never seen at a SnF before. This store sort of feels like a smaller WinCo but it has a much more convenient location for me. Not that I'll never go to the other two east side SnF locations again but I'm pretty sure I have a new SnF home store! I'll definitely come back! read more

I've been a long time shopper at Smart and Final, but about a year ago, the one that was located in my area, closed. I loved how convenient it was for me, in terms of distance from my place to there. (apprx. 5 min. away) But, I'm also glad it closed because then I would probably have never found Smart and Final Extra, the Flamingo location. Here they have an extensive selection of produce, meats, frozen section, liquor, pet food, household items, all types of things in large quantities, as well as regular sized items. So, it's kind of a cross between a traditional grocery store and a mini, say, Sam's Club or Costco, but without the membership fees. I love it because those items that I need to purchase in bulk, I can do so, while also buying normal sizes of the items I don't need much of. Smart and Final Extra is also a place that appeals to many restaurants, those working in the food industry, people planning big parties, or picnics, and also many of Vega's local schools frequent this place too. I think it was the best idea to create this "Extra" store. So, I've visited this location about 6 times, including today. Each time I've gone, its been a rather pleasant experience. The store is very spacious, floors are always clean, and EVERY single department is always fully stocked and neatly presented. Also, it's nice going to a store where, if you have a question about an item they carry, (for example, you want to know if they have something, and if they do, where it's located) the employees know exactly which direction to point you in. Each of the workers I've come across have been very kind too, and don't seem irritated to assist the customer. Their affordable prices are another benefit. I've learned that many of the items they sale are much cheaper than they would be at most other grocery stores. Oh, and each time I've shopped here the wait times in the checkout lines move at a reasonable pace. (Plus! Because I really do loathe waiting in lines that just don't seem to ever move) In addition, I think the store is located in a pretty good area. It's in a shopping complex that is home to Wells Fargo, Blueberry Hill Restaurant, and a few other businesses. Parking seems to not be an issue, as the parking lot is, (like the store itself) quite spacious and there never seems to be a shortage of shopping carts. I just wanted to put my two cents in about this business. I definitely recommend you check it out. It may just become your main go-to for everything you need! read more
