I love this place! I'm glad we finally have one here in Vegas. My friend has always sworn by Aldi when he lived in California. It reminds me a lot of Trader Joe's but the prices are insanely better. I love the unique products it sells too. I've become a fan of cooking with a Grapeseed Oil and Canola Oil blend but could not find it anywhere outside of the old 99 Cents Stores that went out of business. They have it here! They have really great prices on their meats as well, so check those out. And the pizzas are amazing! The store is very well kept and inviting. Our cashier was super and I mean super fast! First time here. Note: .14cent for paper bags. Bring your reusable bags as there's no free bags here. I actually like Aldi. I didn't expect much as I thought it was so small but when I walked in, it was literally only selling essentials that I need. The prices are better than the other supermarkets by my house. No frills and like a miniature Costco of sort. We were able to get a bunch of things that we need and felt that it's cheaper than what I usually pay for some items like cheeses and prosciuttos and pineapples ++. We were able to use some empty boxes as we didn't need any more bags to bag our items after we checked out. Easy, simple, not crowded. It's in a large plaza so plenty of parking outside. Very nice store. Prices are varied. Some products are lower than normal but some higher. For me I'd still save money by going to Smith's or Sam's. However, they do have great specials that you can't find at other stores. An example is a variety of different flavor chips or southwest eggs rolls from chilis restaurants. Overall all not a bad place to shop. read more

Aldi! Well they opened this location in late April 2025, and what a response it received. Opening day was a spectacle of it's own. Your experience? ....Quarter in the slot wins you a cart. You shop the store which is amazingly clean and you'll see that their prices are almost undefeated! Seriously if you do a comparison on some popular items you may be amazed. The store is on the small size and the selection may not be as vast but what they do have will definitely impact your decision to shop here. bring bags, or buy them at the store....the ALDI way. When you are done and satisfied you return the cart and get your quarter back. What other slot gives you a refund in Vegas,....err um Henderson?! This is my favorite Aldi in the valley right now...they had everything I was looking for and some things that were on discount like the holiday ritz crackers. The price point is amazing and the quality of food here is so much better for you...the ingredients are much cleaner than an average grocery store, without having to pay Whole food or Sprout prices. So expected to see a better star rating. Not deserved, IMO. Aldi is a regular visit for us. I wish it were closer to my house, or I would be there every week. In almost every instance the prices are significantly lower than other stores. With other stores, we pay anywhere from $65-100, depending on the week. With Aldi, that range shifts lower to $45-80 for comparable products. The only thing is you don't get the breadth of product here. Sometimes we end up having to go to other stores to supplement. But again, it's worth it because of the savings. We are vegetarian so I can't speak to the meat, but everything else has been great. Wish they had a good unsweetened soy milk and natural peanut butter. Service is fine. Never had an issue. Ambience is fine. No frills, thank goodness. It keeps the prices low. read more

Welcome our newest grocery store in town - aldi's. They just opened so of course it's clean and there are some empty shelves which is expected. Pretty busy though for just opening, I heard good things about other locations. You'll most likely find your normal groceries here.. produce, frozen items, bread, snacks, canned food, drinks, household items, etc.. but some specific items you might not be able to find them here. They seem to have only a few name brand items but many other brands I've never seen before. Lines were long but went quickly. The cashiers have you bag your items to the side once they ring you up. No self checkout it seemed. Busy plaza since it's next to Best Buy - if you come during a slower time I'm sure it'll be better. read more

First day "preview", grand opening tomorrow 24th. First impression is not as much I wanted to buy as far as groceries. Some good deals tho and love the gourmet cheese selection. I was excited to see the Aldi Finds, I got some solar lights. I will definitely shop here regularly. The unique product offerings and competitive prices are worth a weekly visit. My husband was craving for burritos so we went to Aldi for the first time today to get the ingredients and it was very pleasant experience. Store was very clean and not crowded. We got jalapeño, shredded Colby jack cheese, seasoned bones beef flap meat, Spanish rice, flour tortillas, pinto beans, few snacks and zero sugar cranberry grape juice. Total came out to be around $48 which is fantastic and reasonable price. Cashier was very friendly. If you're big meat eater price is pretty good here. I would be back just to get different varieties of sparkling water and marinated meat. read more

First time I have checked out the new store, Aldi, in Henderson. It's located on Sunset and Marks. When you arrive, you need to have a quarter to get a shopping cart. If you don't have the coin, well, you can't get the cart. The store itself is not very big. Every department consists a small section of the "store brand" items. Vegetables and fruits are limited, but well priced! I would definitely consider coming back again just for that. Strawberries were super delicious! The meat department is very small, very few choices. I highly suggest you bring your own bags if you don't want to pay for shopping bags! Otherwise, you need to choose paper or plastic bags before reaching the cash register. Cashier will be there, and after paying, all items will be placed back to your cart. Then you move to the wall/window area with shelves and pack your items into your bags. Then, loading the shopping bags into your vehicle, you may return the cart and get the 0.25c back. I personally prefer leaving the cart in the parking lot if there are any cart collection areas, but there isn't any. I just offered it to someone who arrived/parked their car, to have it. Of course I would not accept the quarter from anyone! I just don't see myself loading my vehicle with perishable items in a hundred plus degrees weather in Vegas, and leave my car, to return the shopping cart to get my quarter back. First visit: It was my first time going, and overall it was just an okay experience. I didn't really understand the cart system, though the cashiers were very friendly and helpful. The store felt a bit crowded, honestly. It didn't quite live up to the hype I'd heard from others who shop at Aldi on the East Coast. I ended up buying only two items. I'd probably go again at some point, but I don't see it becoming a regular stop for me. Second visit: On my second visit, I again only picked up two small items. I noticed that a lot of the food options weren't particularly healthy, and the prices were about the same as other grocery stores. For me, it just didn't feel worth it. I don't think I'll be returning, as it seems like Aldi simply doesn't cater to what I'm looking for. read more

I do not understand all these silly negative reviews. This isn't Nordstroms, nor should be comparing it as such. Alsdi offers a great variety of fresh produce, prepared foods, deli meats and cheese and frozen items, as well as home goods and seasonal treasures. It's no frills to keep prices low. I bag my own items, easy peasy. I don't always shop here only because it's not near my house. But I will always stop by when I'm in the area. I get what I pay for, and it's a win / win. read more

This store took a rotten lamb rib plate and froze it, they froze it and put it up for sale with a 23.00 sticker on it. This was defrosted in the fridge for a day in its wrapping, when I opened it it was grey mushy and completely rotten. It was so bad I almost threw up. I wouldn't be surprised if I opened it all the way I wouldn't find maggots. This place needs to be shut down. At least investigated. The rest of the store is half empty and dirty too. Clean store without all the fanfare or blocked isles. Ok selection of produce and other products. Very nice employees that seemed happy. The deli meat and cheese was great and just the right amount for the prices, the bread was fresh and their version of the sugar free Red Bull was actually very good and the price way better. The produce was good and worth the price as well. Sweet grapes and strawberries. The downfall is not many major brands, which is fine, you need a quarter to use the shopping cart and bring your own bags unless you want to purchase them starting at .15 and up. I am from the Midwest where there are a ton of Aldi locations, so very excited that this Aldi is here in Henderson now that I live here. The reviews with the low scores related to paying a quarter for a cart (which you get back when you return your cart) or the 'bag your own items' policies at Aldi are clearly new to the Aldi experience. Aldi has low prices because they don't have to pay extra employees to bag groceries and retrieve carts that people just leave haphazardly all over the parking lot. This is the case at all Aldi locations and really isn't a big deal. Also, yes it's true that they don't carry a large selection of brand name items. Again, this is part of Aldi's pricing strategy. They can offer great prices because most of their items are 'store brand', however they are not lesser in quality. Many are exactly the same as brand name and others are exactly the same as Trader Joe's (Aldi and Trader Joe's have the same parent company). With that said, this is a very nice (and large!) Aldi. I was impressed! The cashier was very friendly and efficient. Will definitely be back / this may be our go-to for groceries now that we are all moved in. read more

I was very excited to see Aldi's finally opening up a store here in NV. I have gone to their stores in other states and had loved the selection of items and generally low prices. I especially enjoyed finding a lot of items from Germany, where I used to shop at the Lidl. This store is clean, the staff is friendly and the fresh foods are fresh and appealing. The prices are usually lower than the other grocery stores and their brands as good as 'name brands'. I am able to get many items that I like from Germany. That being said, I am disappointed that they do not carry a regular supply of frozen foods from Germany. Now and then they will get a shipment of frozen items, and it quickly sells out. This is really my only complaint, and it is a minor one! read more

The prices are great for the basics but for meats I'd honestly suggest Costco or some other grocery store. The customers are just as clueless as the ones in Trader Joe's so be prepared to be annoyed at everyone around you. As for the customer service, I'd rate that the lowest. In all the times I've been here, never had anyone offered any help, especially when they'd seen me literally climbing inside their fridges because product wasn't pushed forward. And while I appreciate the low prices, the cashiers need to be more careful when they're doing checkouts. Every time they're literally THROWING my groceries into the basket with no regard if it's a glass item or if they knock a lid loose and something starts to leak. read more

My mom ordered from them through Instacart and it was by far the worst experience she's ever had. The store wouldn't let the driver get any bags to bag the order and it was a larger order. So the poor driver had to load loose items into their car and then when delivering to the house had to walk individual items to the door. The driver couldn't even buy bags separately!!!!! Aldi needs to do better with the dumb bag policy. read more

Horrible experience. The shopping part of it was fine but when we get to checkout the cashier Angela was very rude. Threw everything into the cart the chicken package ended up ripping. The sodas went flying into the cart. She just threw everything into the cart I understand if she was in a rush or if there was a line but there was not. Just stopped by for the first time since the grand opening. This place was unorganized, messy, garbage on the floor. Nothing like the Aldi stores I've been to on the east Coast. I moved here from Maryland. Aldi was one of my favorite stores there. When I found out this was opening here in Las Vegas I was so excited. Not anymore. Have been three times now, and totally unimpressed. Used to be so much fun to find new and interesting things. Not only has it gotten more expensive than it ever was but they're out of everything. I understand everything has gone up but they don't even come close to what I can get at other stores. Just went in there for two things they were out of both. I'm done three times the charm. Got here first thing in the morning, found coffee at a crazy deal and threw some in the cart. My wife watched the employees change the discount from .49 cents to 2.99. The digital tags can be swapped at the drop of a hat. Red hot deals sound like red hot scams. read more

First time at Aldis today. Looks like a success. Prices were pretty good, but no name brands, or few name brands. Definitely better than Albertsons, Smiths and Sprouts. The store was smaller than I expected, but it was pretty nice. Something for first time buyers, you need a quarter to retrieve a shopping cart, I'm good with that, you get the quarter back. Hopefully people won't be stealing them. You need to bring your own bags, or they have boxes, kind of like Sam's Club. Bananas, milk and lots of things you use all the time had good prices. I think they have bags, but I you must purchase. They had good selections on some items. A good place for fruits, veggies, some items are expensive, but nothing like Smiths or Albertsons. I liked it and will return. Cashier was very nice. Check it out when you get a chance. It was busy, looks like people are likely the place. No rewards, but let's see what happens read more

Disappointing! Two visits since opening day. Today's experience was on the plus side since not many other folk shopping. Noticed a lot of empty sections in produce and bakery (first thing in the morning!) No greeting cards! Nothing unusual to buy and try! Perhaps we should not compare this new Aldi store to their British counterparts (where we do the bulk of our shopping during our 6 week stays) and maybe we shouldn't compare to Temecula and Bakersfield in California but I do because I can't help it. This is just a let down after waiting for Aldi to open for business in Henderson Las Vegas. (And the parking lot is no big deal...it's a strip mall, what else do you want the parking to be like?) read more

Got caught up in all the hype, waited 9 days after opening to visit. Well, not impressed. Crowded and too small. About the size of 2 7-Elevens. Limited selection or about 25% of what a real grocery store has. Annoying 25 cents for cart, like who carries quarters around with them now days. Get to check out and then they let you know you have to purchase bags for your groceries. Staff attempting to stock shelves when it is crowded with shoppers making it very inconvenient since the isles are tiny to begin with. No healthy bread selections. Limited meats cuts to choose from. And yes, the staff needs better customer relations training. read more

First off the parking lot lanes seem narrower that most lots making getting in and out of parking spots and passing other vehicles in the lanes difficult. I will not go back just because the parking is scary. Not that great. Some items, like the cheese, seem good. Other items, not so much. The bananas were in big bunches and when I tried to pick up a bunch they were all mushy. Maybe too many hands had already tried to pick them up. I bought a bag of peaches that looked good. About half the peaches had a kind of chemical taste. I don't know what was on or in them, but I would not take a chance. I threw the rest of the bag away. Tomatoes were in plastic shells. They looked really good. However, the next day after taking them out of the plastic shells they had already developed spots. Any savings here is nullified by having to throw stuff away. I will not go back. On a positive note, the staff was friendly and nice. read more
