A pizza you can't refuse, brah…read more Listen here, dude. You walk into Fraser Farms thinkin' it's just a store, right? Fuhgeddaboudit. Turns out they're slingin' some seriously fantastic pizza in there, and nobody's talkin' about it. You'd be surprised what you can get inside this joint. We rolled in after a session and there it was, a whole cheese pie sittin' right up front, boxed and ready to go like it was waitin' for us. Capisce? Golden crust with that perfect char on the bottom, cheese bubbled and browned all leopard-spotted on top, little sprinkle of herbs. Thin enough to fold, sturdy enough to hold. Beautiful, I'm tellin' ya. One bite and it was truly gasoline, brah. Pure fire. Me and the crew demolished that thing faster than a closeout set rolls through. So here's the deal, and I'm only gonna say it once: next time you're at Fraser Farms, you grab a pie. Don't make me come find you. -- Captain 619

Mammamia Deli Market - Gino & Gianni's Pizzeria located in La Mesa borderline Spring Valley. Let's…read morejust start off with... WOW, the BEAUTY of this market as well as the pizzeria! The market specializes in AUTHENTIC ITALIAN items. From fresh pasta to exotic cheeses and homemade sauces! A wide range of beverages (I have never heard of or seen before) as well as gelato! They have their own parking lot but, it can still be challenging as this appears to be a very popular spot! Customer service was good on the deli side which is located on the market side of the venue. We ordered a Specialty Sandwich as well as a sub from their Sub Menu. Besides sandwiches, the deli offers meats, cheeses, and antipasta choices. We ordered: Octopus salad - perfectly cooked octopus Pasta salad - A tad bit too al dente for my liking Mammamia torpedo sub from Sub Menu - delish... The Godfather from Specialty Sandwich Menu - AMAZING flavor if you enjoy that sweet and savory flavor profile! Gino & Gianni's Pizzeria is a seperate area of the market which is accessible while in the market or directly from the parking lot. They offer inside dining as well as patio dining. Customer service was AMAZING at the pizzeria! Pizzas were phenomenal! Although I did not try them, the garlic knots looked amazing as well! We ordered: Mushroom pepperoni slice - good in flavor Sicilian style Honey-Roni pizza - Square in shape and appeared to be deep dish style. AMAZING in flavor! Gino & Gianni's Vodka-Roni special slice - AMAZING!!! Something about that touch of hot honey that just elevates the flavors to a whole other level!!! So sad I am barely finding out about this place yet so happy I FINALLY DID and plan on being one of their regulars. If in the area... do yourself a favor and treat yourself to some AMAZING eats! YOU'RE WELCOME in advance!

This is exclusively to the curbside pick up at the La Mesa Vons. I would give zero stars if I could…read moreto be honest. I tried the curbside pickup for the first time a few weeks ago and spent 20min in the parking lot before I gave up and went inside. I talked to the very friendly self checkout cashier who was very helpful and made it understood that this happens a lot. She guided me to the area where they hold the pick up orders where a young man in charge seemed to be unaware of my waiting in the parking lot and explained that the app sometimes has issues. He brought my produce out and suggested that I call the number on the signs next time as to not repeat this issue in the future. I understand that technology sucks at times and didn't hold it against him. I tried the curbside feature again today. Checked in on the app, waited 5min and called the number as previously suggested. Talked to someone who said they'd be out shortly, 15min went by. Called 3 times with no one picking up. Finally went into the store, to the area where they hold pick up orders to see what the issue was and I could hear the phone ringing from my own call with no one in sight. Grabbed my own order (coulda taken some else's as well apparently) and walked out the door after half an hour from me first getting there. Woulda been much faster to do my own shopping. -10/10 do NOT recommend curbside pick up at this particular vons but feel free to do other shopping there including the flower department which I frequent. It takes a LOT for me to leave a negative review but if this vons doesn't have the staff to provide curbside pickup then simply don't offer it, it's that easy.

On Mother's Day Susan helped me put together a bouquet in my budget and with what I wanted and today buying corn she overhead me discussing not knowing how to tell which is good and she helped me. Everytime I see her she is so overly helpful and beyond what usual care is. Same with the pick up order crew, EACH ONE, and I wish I remember their names, I come with my dachshund in my car, and they all interact with me and help me. The way they're so gentle with my stuff and helpful and make small talk is unheard of now adays. I love doing drive up because of those interactions when my day is hard - which has been often lately. They make my day even better. SUSAN tho, I joked and said I felt she ran the store. She is so helpful. Knowledgeable and more.

Prices are up I think, but they are up everywhere and it's still more affordable than many other places. They still do buy 3 get 1 free on both juices and cold case. Perfect for people like me who need to stock up for the week. My life is so much better this week because of Vine Ripe! I sound like I'm in a cult, but I would join their cult if they had one - I'm already in their membership program. Call me! The jamaica I had was one of the best I've had! Better than so many Mexican places tbh! The carrot juice is always so solid and healing. The juices here are always the best, and so much cheaper than like Whole Foods etc. I really want to try their whole rotisserie chicken on top of rice someday. The bulgur side in the deli is my favorite food - I even looked up a recipe for it while I was living out of state so I could keep having it :) I love everything they do!! I know there are so many things I have yet to discover here! Thank you Vine Ripe!!!

I was thinking, oh it had to be in the wrong spot. Check the tag, nope it says it's for that can. Yet, right next to it is a 28oz can for $1.67. There happened to be a worker stocking the shelf so I ask her if this is right? She laughs cause she thinks it's crazy too. Looks it up in her system. Oh that's what it's coming up as. She called her manager. He checked the system and something else and says, yeah that's the price. WTH? Obviously I went with the bigger can but, what? I know I've seen reports talking about how Walmart tracks you now and knows what time you shop and AI changes the pricing before you get to an item. So was this an obvious error or something more nefarious since that was the can I always buy. I'm hoping the former.

We shopped here because my primary store Albertsons was out of stock on a lot of food items I needed. I bought 22 Food Products today with a savings of $22.40. I am also a Ralph's Club Card Member. This Discount Card saved me a lot of money today plus everything I bought today was on sale. My products included Snacks like Oreo Cookies, Pumpkin Muffins, Lemon White Chocolate Cookies, 2 packages of Sara Lee Bagels. Plain and Blueberry flavors. 2 Gallons of Breeze Almond Milk, 2 bags of Ruffle Potato Chips, and 8 different Chobani Flip Flavored Greek Yogurt's. Their SALE PRICES are 10 for $10.00. Their customer service was good. Lawrence the security guy was very friendly and helpful in talking to me about their Ralph's Items available in stock on their shelves. Also 2 men who worked in the Meat Department yonder me it's more cost effective for me to buy 3 Organic Beef in a packs of 3 for their sale of $20.00 than to buy one beef for $9.00. He was correct. The cashier I was serviced by Mia who's Asian she was nice.

It sounded good but we also weren't really feeling like going "out" and something that could be delivered or that we could pick up seemed like the better play. Believe me, I know that those of you who don't know Valley Farm will likely say "really?" when I detail that this sleepy little Spring Valley market kicks out poke as good as anywhere else in SD, but it's true. It just tasted like salmon coated in some kind of sesame oil. I still ate it with snacking seaweed but I would not buy again. -Hatch chile Caesar wrap, I liked that the wrap was soft and not soggy. Chicken was grilled and diced, lettuce was crunchy and hatch chile tasted grilled and notably cold, came with Caesar dressing on the side. There was nothing wrong with the ingredients but together it just made a very underwhelming wrap, I didn't really taste any flavor from the wrap even with the help of the dressing. I also would not buy again. Ambiance 5/5 -They had a lot of ready-to-eat food options, both hot and cold. Even though I didn't like what I got this time, I'm open to come back and try other things they have.
