I honestly can not give Milestone Pediatric Therapy & their fantastic team enough praise! My son…read moresaw Miss Emily & Mary for speech therapy for around 3+ months. We find them through an approved list from our insurance carrier, Kaiser. The office is clean, & check in process was some of the smoothest I have ever experienced. No shoes are allowed once you cross out of the waiting room. The front desk ladies are friendly & really got to know my son in such a short amount of time. They always knew he wanted to show them whatever toy he brought for the day & there was always a sticker he enjoyed getting they'd let him pick out. Payments were automatic and I never had any issues there. Within one session with both ladies, we were able to get him using words we knew he had in there-they just helped him bring them to life. My son & I were both bummed when we ended services due to him starting preschool & getting the services while there. Emily really grew on him. He would absolutely light up seeing both ladies. My son, his attitude, behavior, and speech all elevated by coming to Milestone. The absolute patience the staff has is incredible. My son had a couple sessions of occupational therapy and we absolutely loved our therapist as well. I felt included in each of his sessions with all the ladies & there was something we worked on each week to improve the next. My son went from saying a handful of words to now speaking sentences. We game together and he fully understands that we need to take turns. Started off as a super worried mama, and left confident that we would be more than okay. Thank you, thank you, thank you again to Milestone. LOTS of parking & super easy to find. Delicious cafe not far from the entrance!

This review is for the scheduling and billing department and not the physical therapists…read more Poorly trained personnel on insurance claim and following up on patients when there is a doctor referral. I waited about 3 weeks for the clinic to contact me after our pediatrician put in a referral to see PT for my childs torticolis. When I did not hear back I called the office, the first lady said she could not find any referrals then I spoke to a second person that said the paper work sent over was incorrect. I told her since this is a time sensitive issue to go ahead and put me in as a private pay so at least we can start the evaluation and make future appts if needed. Made an appt for an evaluation, only to be called by another personnel to cancel the appt because they are not able to figure out if they are contracted with my insurance. I told them I would still want to come in for the evaluation since its already been over a month and I would pay as private pay until insurance is sorted out. I ended up seeing Miss Paige and Miss Hannah. Both are great PTs and did help improving omy childs torticolis. I ended up using 6 or 7 appointments, 3 months had passed and each time they wanted to cancel my appt because they couldnt figure out insurance coverage. Long story short I finally had to email all the claims and what my insurance had cover and my copays that I had paid for them to finally realize what was happening. Insurance companies suck I get it. I deal with them on a daily basis at my job. But not having trained personnel to deal with the insurance complexities is not acceptable in the health care industry.

Healing Arts Health Center has completely changed my mind about Acupuncture!…read more I was very hesitant to give it another try after not receiving much relief from my first go around...but let me tell you, having the right practitioner is EVERYTHING! For 13 years, I've had chronic Vestibular Migraines and Vertigo that have been hard to manage. Dr. Abdullah's treatments have not only helped improve the frequency and intensity of my attacks, they've also helped manage other symptoms like, nausea, imbalance, tinnitus and insomnia. Now, I look forward to my visits, knowing that I'm going to feel so much relief afterwards. It's hard to explain the feeling of being relaxed and energized at the same time, but that's how I feel after every visit! Dr. Shaheed Abdullah is amazing! He's very knowledgeable in his field and it's clear that he enjoys taking good care of his patients. He's attentive to the specific areas of my pain, and knows exactly where to treat it, even if it's on a completely different part of my body. It's wonderfully fascinating, and he's so happy to share how it all works together! If you want to kick it up a notch, I would also highly recommend the Running Cups, it's incredible! He also curated a tea that was specific to my needs and it's been a wonderful companion to the acupuncture treatments...I even dropped a few pounds! They are quick to respond to emails, and have been very patient with my questions. In addition to their professionalism, Dr. Abdullah and Chanelle both radiate such good energy and are truly a joy to be around. Needless to say, Healing Arts Health Center has made such a positive difference in my overall well being and I am forever grateful.

Our son, Gianluca ("Luca"), has been a patient of yours and of Lauren's since we started Speech…read moreTherapy several years ago. Lauren was Luca's therapist even before she joined your practice, and we continued with her there. As Luca is now 4-years-old and I've had the chance to interact with numerous physicians, caretakers, therapists and professionals related to his overall care, I can say with confidence that I am in awe of Lauren. Lauren is a passionate, dedicated and energetic therapist. She showed up to each and every session in our home ready and focused on Luca. She cared very deeply about Luca's progress and went above and beyond to ensure he had every chance to access speech, language and develop to his maximum potential. I appreciated her creative approach to "learn" what Luca liked and disliked, and how she could bring the best out of him. She tailored her activities and approach to Luca's interests and although my nonverbal son is difficult at times to understand from first glance, Lauren successfully navigated their communication styles and was able to have a relationship with Luca. Lauren not only taught Luca, but she also educated my husband and myself, in addition to our nurses and other caretakers to ensure we all had access to learning Luca's best options and what opportunities there are for us all as we continue down this path. She was patient, persistent and opened our eyes to possibilities we would never have known. As a mom, I felt supported fully by Lauren and knew she truly loved my son. That went far beyond any level of care I could ever have asked for - I don't often leave "reviews" but I feel obligated to share how much of a true difference Lauren has made in our lives.

My loved one was neglected and her life was dangling from a thread. We had to fight to have her discharged to a hospital. Why not have the professionalism to admit, it was out of their ability to help her. They are severely understaffed, and therefore the patients lives are at risk daily. in the midst of the heatwave the A/C wasn't functioning. The staff is less than responsive or empathetic due to being overworked as a result of being understaffed. Had our loved one remained at this facility, we absolutely would have lost her and we are yet, not out of the woods. As the family's advocate I have never seen such lack of integrity in the health industry. Inhumane doesn't begin to fully describe the situation at this facility. Exhaust every option, but do not leave your loved one in the hands of these greedy individuals.

After the first week at home, Physical Therapy reached out to me and asked where you? I had to explain that due to poor planning I do not have any crutches to move about and plus maneuver my stairs to attend. I assumed that I should have such crutches for our next session. The next session arrived, and still no such devices but more excuses. I was told later to come by and pick them up and pay for them? I explained how in world do I maneuver my stairs and pick up crutches and plus I've already met my deductible and out of pocket so I should not be charged? I basically at that point ordered a pair from Amazon for expedited delivery. Not soon afterwards Francesca the supervisor from Ca Orthopaedic Institute Physical & Occupational Therapy reached out to me and said I am less than 10 minutes away and will deliver crutches to you donated from previous clients. This is not what they do as a service at all. I was shocked during her lunch she was at my porch and made sure they fitted properly. I was quite frankly blown away from this kind gesture after all I went through. She scheduled me for the next day's first session and there afterwards. I want to give a special shout out and thanks to Francesca for going beyond and helping me at this stressful event. You are awesome! You are dynamite! You are extraordinarily. Thank you!
