Pulling out a bathroom and putting a whole new one in is expensive and pretty messy. What if you could have the same effect but for waaaay less hassle and money? Chris comes in, re-grouts the place and does whatever is necessary 'cosmetically' so it actually looks brand new shampoo. I was moving out of my rented place at the weekend and had to get a sink replaced (the tap fell off and cracked the bowl in a bizarre poltergeist-like move). Chris was in and out in a couple of hours, after replacing the sink, and re-grouting the area all around it. It looked absolutely perfect, and is a testament to his work style - he seems to be a perfectionist and will go above and beyond to make sure the place is gleaming before he leaves. He hit on a few plumbing problems when he was in the middle of the job that he also took care of, swiftly and easily. What I liked most about him though was that he was honest about the work that needed to be done, not pushy at all, and definitely great value - not out to rip anyone off. Nor did they call back. Hoping for third time lucky, I called this company: http://www.emergencyplumbersdublin.ie/. Not only did they answer the phone, but a plumber had my boiler fixed within 2 hours of making the phone call. I paid a premium because of the day that was in it (€120), but that is to be expected with a last minute call out on a public holiday. I just wanted to let anyone out there with an urgent plumbing issue know to skip all the other ads in Google and jump straight to this company - because they are what they advertise - 365 24/7.

The guy only confirmed that, left after two minutes, and charged us 112euro. We then got a quote for a fix of over 550 euros that included a new valve, expansion vessel, and sensor which turned out to be completely unnecessary. We got another quote and the only parts that were changed were a pressure sensor and a valve, which with the labour totalled less than 200 euros.

The work is excellent and very tide and the team (Paul, Tony, Jack) were very neat, clean and quiet (helps when working at home). They are very helpful - previously coming back late one evening to ensure that we had water for the weekend. The communications with Tony, Jack and Paul has really been superb. Paul very clearly explained what was required (step by step), the work that undertaken after the job was completed, all of the different changes that were made and why, and a thorough rundown of the new controls. Paul also clearly guided us through the SEAI grant system, sent us the correct form links and included the BER assessment in the work, which is really appreciated when you don't have your own contacts. This is such an improvement on other tradespeople who do their bit and leave you to sort everything else out without any guidance.
