We signed up for these adventures to make the weekend even more fun: 1. Feed baby kangaroo(Bodhi). This was about a 30 minute session where we got to feed him a bottle and kibble. It really was an amazing experience. 2. Bucket of food and self guided feeding of animals. We walked the property and hid to feed so many animals. All of the animals were friendly toward people. They were all very good motivated. We encountered a giraffe, donkeys, zebras, horses, cows, pigs, dwarf steers, camels, emu, deer, buffalo and more. The animals were often trying to bully their way to the front of the line. The cow Oreo who has not skipped a meal was always front of the line. 3. Afternoon safari ride in ATV. This was a fun ride around the property. Did not see any new animals but had a great time. The cows out at pasture were thrilled to be fed. 4. Giraffe encounter and meal. This was a little expensive but I would spend it again. The giraffes were super friendly and personable. We wanted to take them home because they were so much fun. The guide, experience and never felt rushed made this worth it. Our guide was top notch. I think her name was Jackie but could be wrong.

There is also a local community center that sits on the corner of the park. There is a pool also, but it looked in poor shape. There is plenty of green acreage to run around in and the Bull Ranch Creek runs down the middle of it. There's also enough room for about 10 or so cars to park in the gravel lot.

It's in the Falcon Pointe neighborhood and the several times I have gone during the day/morning it hasn't been crowded at all. Everything is clean, access to the bathrooms is great (clean as well) and there is lots of shade along the seat wall the borders the splash pad. There is a pavilion with picnic tables and playground in the same area as well. There are several berms that keep the kiddos from running into the street too. There is a large button that sets the water features into motion and it runs for about 2 minutes at a time. My son is a bit possessive of this button when we're out there (sorry other moms) and I've seen a few scuffles break out over the privilege of hitting the button next. There are buckets that dump water, jets that create water tunnels, little fountains safe for the younger kiddos, and lots of rubberized play surface. Best way to have a low stress cool-off day during summer in Austin.

It's not the best park if you want to have a large gathering and barbecue. There aren't any barbecue pits or covered area for large groups to sit and eat. There's plenty of parking.
