What an awesome golf course. I'm sorry I can't give it five stars because of a few things that I…read morethink are important. I get the feeling it was a private course and they would probably like to stay private but need the money of the general public and for that reason I feel as though they have a little bit of a attitude toward nonmembers playing there. When asking the woman in the pro shop about getting paired up she said there was no one else playing if I wanted to pair up with other people (which I did want to) then I should go over to River Valley Ranch because they are busier and I would probably get paired up. Also when I asked about if they had GPS on the golf carts or yardage books or any maps of the golf course(because we have never been there), her reply was no but they do have them at River Valley Ranch maybe you should go there. And oddly enough my golf cart died after 13 holes and I had to limp back to the pro shop and swap carts. I think that's kind of ironic considering that there was really nobody there but yet I had a dead golf cart. So even though I love the golf course, I think it's overpriced for the service and the lack of amenities. Maybe they'll get enough money to go private again and they'll all be happy.

They take you around on the trails a bit before going to see Maroon Bells. It's a beautiful view and you spend some time there with a warm drink provided. Be prepared for it to be cold. We do a lot of outdoor activities, but they all involve us moving and generating heat. The wind blowing on you while you're just sitting there makes it very cold. The thing that ruined the experience for us a bit was the rest of the group we were with. They were awful drivers. They kept driving off the trail even when it was very wide. They were also all tailgating and swerving like crazy. They made it so we had to stop frequently because people kept getting stuck. I wish the guides would have told them to knock it off because they definitely weren't following the directions we were given at the beginning. Overall, I'm definitely glad we did it. I'm not sure how often we'd do it since it's so expensive, but it was fun to do once.
