Dug this place! Really nice and clean inside. 50s feeling on the decor without being cheesy. Staff was nice and fun. Bar was small and prices were ok. Local to the area for a decade. Wife and I came in for a quick game. After buying a game, staff told us company policy was "a man must bowl a 12lb bowling ball or higher." I told them I had a hurt shoulder and could bowl with a 10lb ball. After allowing me to bowl with a 10lb ball for only 3 frames, the acting manager came over and took the ball away and left me a 12lb ball saying it was the rule and she could lose her job if she didn't enforce it... we asked the staff what their policy was if someone, "a man," cannot physically bowl with a 12lb ball due to a physical limitation a.k.a. a disability. The cashier answered, "then they don't bowl." ...long story short, we left and will never return. read more

I would love to give this place a better review but I can't. I live a town over and had the entire family staying in Colorado. We all thought bowling would be a great time. I saw fireside opened at 12 but I called just to make sure Lanes would be open at that time. The person that answered said yes we open at 12 so we show up at 12 only to be told that leagues start at one and you can't bowl until their done. I asked if we could play one game as leagues didn't start for an hour and I was told no. This is a terrible business practice and frankly I am surprised that they are still open with this time of management going on. read more

I came here on a Thursday evening with my 4 and 6 year old. A woman at the counter told me very kindly that it was league night so we would only be able to play one game. I appreciated that she took the time to let me know. I decided it would be better to play one game then none at all. Luckily this place is equipped with side rails and they have the ball ramp. I love the ball ramp! Such a great invention to get little ones interested in bowling. My kids actually really enjoy bowling. Even the woman at the counter commented that they were pretty good. After we bowled we checked out the small arcade. The kids played a few games and then we left. It was a pleasant way to kill an hour after being cooped up inside due to the cold weather. If you are traveling with kids, bowling is a great way to spend time together as a family. read more

12/2018 drove through again on my little vacation stopped here for the primal need to throws things. Everything is still the same. french fry smell, AWESOME. T.V to glance back at games. however I Do wish management would teach ENFORCE or display on their high tech screens BOWLER etiquette. It is really annoying the people on both sides of me talking out loud and walking up and tossing their ball when you are in your own stride. read more

I wish I could give this place a worse review but I can't I called to see if they were open at 12 like it said they were. But when we walked in the said leagues were going to start at 1pm. So j said hey can we play 2 games on 2 lanes and they said yes. Love the experience read more

Great anytime food/beer stop. Great burgers at a decent price. We like it for lunch a lot, stopping by after dirt biking in Rifle. Quiet, clean, and friendly wait staff. Only giving 4 stars just cuse the menu is small. There is atill something for everyone on the menu though! :) read more

Was not the most pleasant family night out when we are jipt out of $20. My son is 2.5 years old and wears a size 7 shoe size which they don't carry or didn't have available. So my son wore no shoes, and this was his first time bowling so it was mainly for him and his first time bowling. The cashier Caitlin who also claimed to be the manager was told that there were only 2 people my son and myself bowling. Then took the $20. Returned one dollar then told me that she could write us a coupon for the amount of 1 game. Then when I asked for my money back because I no longer wanted to bowl I was told that the refund policy did not allow and that she could give me coupons for games to play in the future. I let her know I want to speak to the manager and she then told me she was the manager. We unhappily now took our lane. My son and I bowled three-quarters of the game for one of the bowling alley employees 2 then bring a assisted bowling device for my son. Besides the fact that we had already bowled the first 8 frames this was half decently making ground for getting taking by the con artist at the door. By the 5th time my son went to use the bowling aud the thing toppled apart damb near on my boy. There's no way I wouldn't want to bring anyone back here. Use that money Caitlin so conveniently over charged me to get some screws for that assisted bowling aid. read more

The wife and I went on a Thursday night about 7 pm. Not crowded but the lane was not oiled properly and when you stuck to the floor it would throw you off balance and we both wound up on the floor several times. Staff were helpful and oiled the lane. Worse part was the two women with small children which ran amuck and unsupervised. So very sad makes me not want to return. read more
