A must stop if you are traveling through the Cabo Rojo coast chinchorreando (bar hopping). A great place to get a few drinks and bar snacks during the late afternoon (they open at 4p). Pre-covid they were open until 1am, it seems it's a good place to party if you are staying in Cabo Rojo or Mayagüez. According to the menu they have live music on Tuesdays, Thursday's, and Saturdays from 7-11p. I'm guessing these are popular days with the college students, as most drive home to San Juan over the weekend and the area dies down a bit.
I was bar hopping with some friends, my wife, and our son. One of my friends recommend we stop here. They have a large private parking lot, so that was good. We sat down outside. Currently they are only seating outside. They have a nice bar inside, but it was closed to customers due to the pandemic. We ordered chicken nuggets, fish nuggets, and tostones de pana (press fried breadfruit). The food came out quickly. It was very good, especially the fish nuggets. They were so juicy and tender. Among the best I've had. Service was very pleasant.
Overall, we had a good time. Will definitely return when I'm in the area. My only complaint is they don't sell craft beer. read more
