    Passion fruit sangria is delicious
    Michae A.

I don't know why everyone keeps raving about their fish tacos they were very average. I did however enjoy their passion fruit sangria that was delicious. I cam on Sunday and as soon as I was seated I was told of everything they didn't have so I was really limited but everything I did try was just okay.

The guy was very polite and welcoming. He attended to us immediately. The drinks were amazing especially the mojitos. Now the food was also tasteful. He checked on us but didn't push anything extra on us. The ambience is great I loved how it looked. Prices are fair for those traveling and local.

Grilled octopus and mofungo. Wow the bite of the octopus is phenominal.

We were over the moon at this cute neighborhood tapas bar. It was jammed on the weekend but in monday night we just slid right into a table. The ceviche and octopus were superior. The chorizo stuffed mushrooms were ok but did not seem to have much chorizo flavor or identity. Watch out for the margaritas- Kris had 2 and got pretty loopy.

Have you ever heard of stuffed avocado? I have not. Until now!

Friendly staff, tasty food. We were expecting small tapas, so ordered perhaps too many things! The portions were quite generous. We got the seafood combo platter with fried shrimp, calamari and fish. Nothing particularly special about it but we enjoyed the spicy chili sauce that accompanied it. That could easily have been the entire meal! Also ordered the stuffed avocado, something I've never heard of before. It featured a giant avo, atop delicious rice and relish, smothered in protein of your choice and sauce of your choice. We opted for fish and the garlic sauce. Really unique and also a huge portion!

My favorite restaurant in La Parguera. Tasty tapas. Quality food. Try the mero bites, stuffed mushrooms, fish tacos, passion fruit sangria... everything is delicious!

Stuffed avocado with mariscos and garlic sauce

Jose was so friendly, kind and helpful - he gave us an entire day of recommendations for Cabo Rojo that we used the next day and it was such a highlight on our trip. On top of that the food was so hearty and yummy, we got the stuffed avocado with mariscos and the creamy garlic sauce. Perfect spot for after the bio bay!

Very cute place to drop by and all food/drinks served up right away. Ordered a few plates including stuffed mushrooms with cheese, grouper ceviche (this is just okay as the grouper fish doesn't taste very fresh and was chewy) and chili shrimp. The drinks here were the best we had since visiting PR, especially recommend the housemade sangria. Both red and white versions were delicious. Service was awesome, shout out to Jose!

5 stars for the ambience and service. After the bio luminiscent bay, I was sure La Pareguera had nothing else to offer. Just a minute from paradise and we spotted this cute place. Everyone seemed to be light hearted and interacting across tables. I didnt get anything to drink as I had to drive back to Aguadilla. But from my seat at the bar I definitely could see every cocktail looked yum. Mah Mahi fish was fresh and flavorful. My wife got the veggie salad which was good too. A couple of Puerto Ricans started interacting with us and we had a really good time. Best way to wind the trip to La Paraguera. Oh and how could I forget the cheese cake. Definitely rich and since you are on a vaccation spoil yourself

Trying to find a place to grab a drink in Lajas we decided to try this place out, and for my surprise it was an awesome choice! Drinks are very cheap, $2 for beer and $5 for a pina colada. The food menu is great and has a solid selection to please everyone. Service is as anywhere in PR, you have to take your time and relax, you are on Caribbean time! The staff is very friendly and make you feel like you are their friend. I tried the shrimp tacos which were great. Shrimp was cooked to perfection. My side was the fried Yucca which was very tasty. I had to finish every piece of it! Yum! If it happens that you are hungry or thirsty on a very late evening while wondering around the town, STOP at this place and you will like it!

Don't know what the hype is about. The food wasn't really that good. I wish the service was better. But again it might be an off day.

I was truly overwhelmed. I could have spent hours in there just looking at the selection. They also have a nice array of whiskeys and the bourbon prices are very fair. The food at this locale is FANTASTIC. We tried a cheese plate which was a perfect starter while we perused the rest of the menu. I went with the tuna tartar and tostones as an entree and I was afraid it wasn't going to be enough food but it was the perfect portion. The tartar was delectable. I will be thinking about it for a long time. Everything was top notch at this place but I think our server, Rene, was the icing on the cake. His positive and welcoming energy set the tone for an incredible evening. He was so knowledgeable about the wines and the menu and he did truly felt like a friend. His recommendations did not stop at wine and food - he also gave us advice on places to visit while we are in the area. He's truly a gem! This is my first time in Aguadilla but I could see myself coming back for the sole purpose of visiting Set the Bar again. It's truly that good. Do yourself a favor and check it out!

Check the open/closed sign outside. It's run by literally two people - the waitress and the bartender. They have a rather short menu and a drink special of the day. The bartender is open to making anything you want though, given that they have the ingredients. The service was good and they made an effort to let us split the check based on our orders. I ordered the Baja Fish Tacos for $7, since I had a good experience in San Juan ordering this dish. It was sizable and had three soft shell tacos, However, it was covered in red cabbage with not a lot of fish at all. Sure it was cheap, but it wasn't even worth $7. The only reason I gave it two stars instead of zero is because some of my dining companions really enjoyed the Shrimp Ceviche, so I would like to go back and try that. This is one of the cheaper places to go for dinner in RIncon, but honestly, I'd rather just get a sandwich or go to Surfer's Spot.

Had a great indoor open air set-up with a neat jacuzzi pool/lounge area and a good band one night. quiet, great art, fun atmosphere and really good pizza. Tough parking lot - if you find a spot on the street before or after this place take it!
