I pulled into the service department late on a Friday afternoon of a holiday weekend, hoping they could save me. I had to drive about 2 1/2 hours home on Monday so I had to get this thing fixed. They were nice enough to squeeze me in even though I didn't have an appointment, their diesel tech got to it before too long and got it all fixed up and cleaned up. They had a nice waiting area too for me to sit in and relax while I waited. If you're in the area and you need your car or truck fixed you should definitely check this place out.

I own a 2024 Volkswagen Tiguan that was diagnosed with a leaking head gasket. I have now been waiting 6 months for the necessary part to repair my vehicle, with no resolution in sight. To make matters worse, I was recently informed that it could be another six months before the part arrives. Throughout this entire ordeal, Spitzer Volkswagen has offered no meaningful assistance, no rental or loaner vehicle, and seemingly no concern about the risks associated with continuing to drive a vehicle with a known mechanical defect. Instead, I am expected to continue driving my vehicle, repeatedly return to the dealership to have oil added, and simply hope that no additional engine damage occurs while waiting for Volkswagen to fulfill its responsibility. The most unacceptable part is that all of the inconvenience, uncertainty, and potential financial risk have been placed entirely on me, the customer. Communication has been equally disappointing. I have repeatedly had to contact the dealership for updates rather than receiving proactive communication. Each time, it feels as though I have to explain the situation all over again. I have even escalated this issue to Volkswagen corporate, only to essentially be told to keep waiting. I purchased a new vehicle expecting reliability, warranty support, and reasonable customer service. Instead, I have spent over a year worrying about the condition of my engine while receiving little more than excuses. A customer should never be expected to shoulder all the risk of a manufacturer's inability to provide a necessary repair part. I would strongly encourage anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from Spitzer Volkswagen to think carefully about the level of support they can expect after the sale. Selling a vehicle is only part of customer service. Standing behind it when something goes wrong is what truly matters. I have been having all my service done with no warranty all out of pocket thru Slimans and have never once had a complaint or left thinking wow that was bad service or maybe I didn't need the services performed that I paid for. This dealership is honest, customer service oriented and truly a great place to buy a vehicle, maintain and service a vehicle or get the right parts to do some work yourself. The staff is always smiling and informative. The lounge is stocked with baskets of grandma's cookies, and dozens of goodies to keep any palet happy. There is a Keurig to custom make your coffee, tea or hot chocolate. My kids really enjoy this as we wait in the comfy chairs, tables or private one seater desks to use there Internet to get some work done. There are plenty of televisions to watch any programs airing throughout and the wait is never long, or unpleasant. When they come out to get you the technician explains anything listed on invoice and any recommendations. The bill is always accurate and I have never ONCE had to return for work done incorrectly or not lasting.
