I pick the car up once the "new" engine was put in and 10 days later I start having issues with the engine knocking and the car smelling like gas when I start the car. The car has been towed again back to the dealership leaving me without a car for the second time. I'm hoping this repair won't take 3 weeks like the last one and I have my car back. I understand that I bought a used car, but I've purchased used cars before without any issues let alone 2 engines blowing on me within a month. I have contacted a lemon lawyer, which by the way I was told on the phone by Amy that Ohio does not have lemon laws and that is not true. Made an appointment online 5 days in advance. Then called to check how long it would take, whether I should wait or get dropped off. They told me might take a few hours. Showed up for appt. 9 AM on sat. Told me Id need to leave the car for 3 days or could reschedule for monday (because they only do oil changes and tire rotations on Sat.) Come back Monday, leave the car. They call and say sorry, the recall is NOT covered. said it expired 2 months ago. (2011 car, recall extended replacement to 15 year warranty).
