Ordered carry out 10 wings with inferno sauce and the crispy chicken sandwich with fries. Ordered online, food was ready when I arrived. Takeout wings usually suck but these were very good. The Inferno sauce is very powerful but also has good flavor. The chicken sandwich was excellent, for a chicken sandwich. Fries were serviceable. I could hear what I believe to be a manager (Hispanic, really tight pants) in the back screaming at his employees as well as cursing! Store 7601 In town visiting friends stop by and ordered chicken sandwich. 1115am the chicken was barely warm. The bun was very cold which made it tough. The chicken barely covered the bun. Overly sauced with mayo. I had googled best chicken sandwich I'm not sure who has put you guys on top but that was the worst sandwich I have had. Chicken needed to have flavor and cover a warm bun. Awful experience. First and last time visiting. Sat in drive-through for literally 20 minutes without moving. There were only 7 vehicles in line when we pulled in. No one bringing food out. No one coming out to take orders. When we finally got to order at the drive through intercom we were told that they were out of the meal we wanted and they were currently out of all fountain drinks. We were dying to check out the new Slim Chickens down the road so we decided not to go on the opening day because they are figuring stuff out with the new location. We went on the second day and it was FANTASTIC! We got our food as soon as we sat down and the inside was so pretty. Drive thru was very fast. Food was great, tea was great and i love the chocolate fudge jar. If i had to say a bad thing it would be they could dial the salt down a bit on the chicken but other than that the flavor was delicious! Yikes! Stopped in on our way to St. Pete. There was a line as we were leaving and that's a mystery! The chicken was so tough and maybe 1/16" thick. My family and I decided to visit Slim Chickens today for lunch and we were pleasantly surprised with how friendly the front staff were when taking our order and how quickly our order came to us, (before we got settled into our table), and the food was hot, fresh, and delicious! Our daughter, 1 years old, obviously did not finish her kids meal, so we asked the owner for a box who responded with humor and gave her a brownie to go. The owner checked in with us and was very friendly. What a refreshing atmosphere where the workers came up and greeted and asked how the food was. It is not that way anywhere else we eat in all of Bradenton. There was many meal combinations and our meals were completed fast and accurate! The place was clean and the food was fresh and delicious. What a great addition to the area for families as we saw many families there after the kids games. I don't take time to write reviews unless you are great above and beyond or really bad to warn others. I wish the best for all that are behind this place. Keep up the high standards because I saw you are teaching young people who to interact and make eye contact with customers which seems to be a lost art. drove 20 minutes to try this spot because i've heard it's good. i ordered a wrap and i got a chicken sandwich instead. didn't even notice until i got home, because it appalls me that high schoolers don't know how to put together a fast food order. i worked fast food, it's not hard to put the items that are in front of you, into a bag. i wish i could give this place no stars, not only was the brunette girl with eyeliner rude but i paid 30$ for food the wrong order. do better. maybe don't hire high schoolers to work that are clearly incompetent. and maybe try adding lettuce or tomato to your sandwiches instead of just pickles? the "iced tea" was also hot. read more

I love when they have tried the food and can provide an honest recommendation from experience. He was knowledgeable of their food items and patient with my indecision. Ultimately I went with his recommendation and ordered the grilled BBQ chicken wrap with fries and a drink. Price was reasonable and food was hot, fresh and delicious. Someone who appeared to be the owner or the manager was very hands on running food and checking on customers. Walter V. was also running food and kindly brought me a sample of the Korean BBQ sauce I was curious about without hesitation whatsoever and even with a gracious and welcoming smile. Quality, friendly customer service is pretty rare these days. It was nice to experience it with everyone I interacted with on shift today. I hope they keep the positivity going and remain committed to the quality and taste of the food. With the sports park down the street, this place has the potential to really attract a crowd. I tried Slim Chickens shortly after they opened with an open mind. I was prepared for some issues while they figure things out. There were no issues. I ordered my chicken finger meal and fried pickles at the drive-thru. I got ranch and honey mustard for my dipping sauces. Ranch is my top choice, but usually if I don't like a restaurant's ranch, their honey mustard makes up for it (cough PDQ cough). After ordering, I pulled right up to the window to pay. The young man was very friendly. CFA vibes. Then on to the next window with no wait. My food was handed off to me immediately with more CFA friendly vibes. Now onto the food. The chicken was hot and delicious. And the fries! Yes! I was so happy that the fries were THAT good. The RANCH though. It was perfection. I didn't like the pickles. The crunch and cook was great, but the breading was so salty. It made them inedible. I have heard the pickles were amazing, so I will try them again.
