And don't make the mistake that I did and go first thing in the morning. If you do, the store is a wreck. There night crew leaves the store looking like it's been hit by a tornado. Also, they don't get up early enough to get fresh stuff from the deli. You have to go no earlier than noon with every other asshole in this crappy town and go scrap for whatever they might have. One time I went and got these pretty good chicken strips from the deli. That was months ago and I haven't seen them since. This place is run haphazardly by clowns with no discipline and no consistency. The only reason I gave 2 stars was bc they are the only alternative to Walmart which kills my will to live. It is tucked into a little strip shopping center with a Pizza Hut and a Jujitsu school. The parking lot is very dark and there is no signage out by the road so it's difficult to see until you are right on top of it. I was watching for it and still missed the first parking lot entrance in the dark and almost went into the ditch. Crisis averted. I made it OK. Inside, the restaurant was spacious and open and it felt a lot bigger than it is. It was not busy, so there was no wait for a table. Wood paneling on the walls, county music playing, it was comfortable inside. The servers were friendly and took my order right away. My food came out quickly and everything was correct. I had an oyster po-boy and it was as good as any I have had around here. It was a little pricey for what I got, but it wasn't overpriced either. The price of oysters fluctuates wildly, so there's no way to really know the price ahead of time unless you call. Over 50 people were seated at tables joined together, spanning the length of the restaurant and there were other people seated in the booths and surrounding tables and they still had room for walk-ins. The staff was unbelievable. They were tremendously patient and very efficient. The food was outstanding, especially the pasta and seafood dishes. This place is always a favorite. And we look forward to celebrating the next batch of family birthdays soon.
