I came in last month to freeze my account. I was assured to my face it was frozen. I was then charged this month... I called and they apologized and said I would get a refund sent to my bank account on file. Now 14 days later I call to check into it, and the claim it wasn't actually an approved refund.... That they can't refund me and don't have any proof of my account being frozen last month. So instead, they will freeze my account, and put that money as a credit for whenever I choose to have a membership with them again.... Insane. Be sure you have video evidence I suppose that they actually freeze your account when they claim they did to your face. read more

February 2024 I paid for a monthly subscription 300 with products mind you. I have attempted to follow for the following months but now I'm being charged an annual fee? For a month to month subscription as well as them stating I cannot cancel the first month? Which makes no sense as this is my renewal period. They also stated I need to come in to cancel which I cannot for personal reasons right now. They will not be able to continue this practice for long as the click to cancel law in Idaho came into affect this year. I enjoyed the time I had at the salon itself and all the employees there were wonderful. But the company is purely trying to gouge money out of costumers. The fact I have to physically make time just to go in to cancel is insane when I have emailed and called numerous times. I'm disappointed in how they are choosing to run this business. They don't seem to know how to make appointments work. The staff in the salon blame the phone people who make the appointments but the staff in the salon mess up most of the time even worse. Please save yourself the aggravation and find any other tanning spot! They are also VERY expensive & try to upsell the tanning lotions. read more

I'm new in town and stopped by to tour the salon. Seems nice so they signed me up and only let me tan for 6 minutes, laughing because I'm from So California and have a nice bace already. Second day I went and they let me go for 7 minutes. Well I get in the bed left half the bulbs were noy working so I asked if I'm doing something wrong and the response was " no our order for the bulbs comes in later today just scoot down and you can still tan " LIKE SERIOUSLY? I just asked them to turn it off and I'll leave her response was " we demand respect here I told you our maintenance comes 1 a month " Can I say WHAT ? Sounds like they have a pre rehearsal on what to say because of broken beds rather than offer to put me in another bed. So for 100.00 a month SAVE YOUR MONEY skip this place. Oh ya then they tell me I can't cancle until 1 billing cycle goes through and it will be another billing befor cancelation would be approved. Oh ell no ! read more

So, as we all know, summer is hard for us to find even 20 minutes to get away from our kids and get a quick tan. I brought my 9 year old daughter into the tanning salon with me today, where I've been a customer for a while now, and the girl told me I couldn't leave her unsupervised in the lobby. She been allowed to sit on the lobby before without issue. She would just sit there and play on her phone. It was only 15 minutes. She said I would have to come back later. So we went to leave. She then told me, "Why don't you just leave her in the car?" It's 100 degrees out. I said "because it's too hot to leave her in the car. " and she gave me a dirty look that said she didn't care. I would understand if I was trying to leave a toddler but my fair is 9 and she is very well behaved. Not to mention I was gone with coming back later. For her to suggest I leave her in the car was wild to me. I'm a small business owner, I own a little tattoo parlor, I allow my clients to bring their child and even provide a space for children to play with toys and crafts. To not allow my 9 year old in the tanning salon for 15 minutes should not have been an issue but to tell me to just leave her in the car as we were leaving without making a scene was unnecessary and showed a level of carelessness for the safety of my child. read more

I paid $38 for a spray tan for NYs eve. I bought the special pkg of lotion which they stated would even out and make the tan look better. The spray tan was very uneven, the machine sprays you 3 times in the front, 2 times turning sideways and ONLY 1 time on back so you end up having your feet lower legs really dark. My backside hardly had any color and neither did my upper body, I put on 1 stickers to see the color difference. I am really disappointed for the price. read more

I LOVE that Spokane/Cda has an option for infrared sauna. This is fabulous!! but I have to give it a one star review after a back and forth with their management to figure out how I could purchase their 6 month unlimited packages while living only part time in the US. The owner wouldn't consider putting a hold on my account while I live in Europe. This is the only business I've come across in the entire world that wasn't willing to postpone my membership while I was living abroad. It was super disappointing, but I'll still go back as it's the only infrared sauna around. That said, I was looking forward to broadcasting high reviews here and to my clients. i signed up for spray tanning and tried that for about a month. Decided it wasn't for me and thought I'd try a bed. I tried it once and it didn't fit in my schedule 3 weeks later on the 24th I decided to cancel and not waste money during these times. I walked in and was told that I couldn't because I switched services. I have to come back next month and cancel. Because I switched services a billing cycle has to go through. I was not told that verbally but since it's in their writing there's their loophole. Beware when signing up for their seevices!!! read more

I went to the Coeur d' Alene branch in April for an automated spray tan prior to traveling to a wedding. Although the staff was friendly and helpful, my spray tan was horrendous! I looked like I fell into a tub of Henna with distinct lines on my hands, feet and parts of my legs. The staff prepped me and explained the positions to stand in. It wasn't complicated and easy to follow, but the spray was a horrible color and was uneven. By the time it dried, it was too late and several people at the wedding (family, thank God), commented on how bad it looked. After my return, I contacted the business. I had purchased a package of spray tans for a better price, thinking I would use them before summer. I spoke with someone on the phone initially at their corporate office, I requested using my remaining spray tans for stand-up tanning beds instead. The Corporation took THREE WEEKS to DENY simply exchanging spray beds (which I didn't trust), for tanning beds. There a lot of legitimate businesses and tanning/spa options in our area that are clean, professional and stand behind their products before treating you like another dollar bill. I wish I had known this before throwing my money away at this place. I chose this place for location convenience and a last minute spray tan. I have used tanning beds and had a professional spray tan before, but never here or sprayed by machine. I've never had such a bad experience. It's a shame that the ladies working at this facility have to work under a company with such pour business practices. read more

If you can actually make yourself go and use the membership it's great. But who wants to look like a Oompa Loompa ? If you can pay as you go the membership is nearly impossible to stop they WILL charge your card even if you haven't used it in months. We moved away and you can't even call and cancel they want their stupid form signed so you have to get it sent to you and sign it and send it back. It's only because they bank on people not going through the complete hassle of ending their crappy membership that is nearly $60 every month LOL. I won't ever recommend. I am extremely satisfied with the customer service I get at this location in particular. I live out in the country and from my house it's the same distance to the South Hill, Valley or CDA location. If given the extra time in my schedule I'd much rather travel a bit more in order to go to the Post Falls location. The gals at the CDA location are always in a bad mood and extremely rude. Two days ago I walked into the CDA location, besides the employee... I was the ONLY one in the salon. No "How's your day?" Instead it was an immediate "Do you have a mask?" While I was still stepping through the door! Customer service was Definitely not top notch that day. But really no different than any other really. After I was told to put a mask on I was then reminded that my perk for the month with my VIP membership was 30% off one transaction. How exactly did she expect me to figure out what products I wanted to purchase with a face covering on? Lol After I tanned k headed straight to the Post Falls location where I felt confident they'd be able to assist. Summer did an amazing job helping me find the products that best fit My needs and She was extremely knowledgeable! I left with a bag full of goodies that day and the comfort of knowing that There are still people that treat others like they are human beings instead of being focused on a wether or not you have a mask on. read more

I have been a customer at slick rock since they first opened in Post Falls, Idaho. They were a great company back then but lately I have experienced nothing but trouble and rudeness. The girls the work here are very rude, they talk down to customers. They don't let you choose how long you want to tan for, and they are overpriced compared to the other local companies. I am completely displeased with my experience here and asked for a refund so I couldn't just not come back and of course they denied me my money back on pre-bought tans. read more

The gals are all sweet, it's always clean, I have no problem with the services provided, staff, or establishment as a whole. That said, their website is the most frustrating I've come across. It's not user friendly for members who need the website to schedule appointments, and nearly every time I have to refresh the page multiple times in order to exit out of the pop up because it won't go away. I've tried it on my phone, laptop, tablet, and it is the same across all devices. Please fix the website, or create a more convenient way to quickly book appointments. They make it very inconvenient to cancel your membership. Called the Post Falls branch to cancel. Was told I needed to come in person. Went into the Post Falls branch to cancel. Was told I needed to come in next month or send an email. Sent an email the next month. No response. Went into the south hill location. Was told it was past the cancellation date so I would be charged for another month. After posting a review of my experience, I received an email from the company that essentially told me I should've read my contract. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! I called to schedule a VERSA spray, I get there and they ran out of hair nets and the protective lotion. I asked if I could go to their post falls location to spray, they called and got me in so I drove all the way to post falls, went to the spray booth to find out it was not a VERSA it was a NORVELL. Which gives you a DARK, SPOTTY, ORANGE look. I wasted my time going to both places. I was denied a refund, but offered a credit. Which would do me no good as I explained I was not in town for long. The "manager" called to tell me there was no difference between a NORVELL & VERSA. I have been spray tanning for years, there is most defiantly a spray difference. I am disappointed in the management team & employees for not refunding my $30.00 as I was unable to spray for what I paid for. Not the way a small business should run. Don't waste your money here. I tried so hard to like this place... but after every single trip here is another bad experience with miscommunication, forgetfulness, or misinformation- it's always something. The girls are apologetic every time but it's really just poorly ran. It's a shame because I love the services.
