Decent pizza. Salad is delicious. Hit and miss sometimes with the food but expected for a newer joint. Garlic knots are delicious.

Stopped in late on a Tuesday night cause we wanted pizza. Staff was awesome! Very friendly and took great care of us. I like the simplicity of this place: great New York style pizza on paper plates. We ordered the Wayne. Never had artichoke hearts on a pizza, but loved it. Pizza was a little too hot to eat when we got it. Lots of toppings in the middle, but the pizza was cooked perfectly so the crust was crisp enough to handle that. House salad was enough to share for two. Also love they have some good beer selections, both draft and cans. We will be back! read more

I had drove by Sliced and knew I had to come back and try it. It is very simple, which I like. You walk in and go to a counter to order, you can get a single slice or a pizza. We just happened to order a pizza (all meat) and add some veggies. It was delicious! You could tell that the cheese was fresh, the crust was crunchy where it needed to be and chewy where you wanted it to be. Slices are HUGE, well worth the price. Garlic knots were delicious. Cannot wait to try the white pizza next time, we've heard great things about it. Also, Loved the design. We will definitely come back to try more things! read more

We have been here at least 5 times now. The first 2 times were great. The pizza was good. I even wrote a positive review. However, this place has gone downhill quick. The pizza is the worst I have ever had. It is so greasy it is dripping, soggy and floppy. The hot wings have become noticeably smaller. So this time I decided to try a salad, not expecting much from the pizza, and was very disappointed with the clearly pre-made $8 salad that had been in the refrigerator for at least a few days. The tomatoes were mushy and the salad dressing was stiff in the plastic dish. Disgusting. The quality of food served here is extremely poor. I did point out these issues to the staff, all they could say was that different cooks do it different ways and I should order it extra crispy next time. SMH I left. What a disappointing visit this time. We have had pizza here several times since our recent move to Hoschton. Tonight was probably our last visit as the pizza seems to have gone downhill. We finally got around to trying this place. Felt in the current climate it would be nice to support the smaller restaurants. They were minimally staffed but I'd say given the current situation we were taken care of in a very timely manner. We called in our order and it was ready when we arrived. They were doing their part to sanitize after each payment processed. We got a house and Caesar salad. It was very nice size for the price and I really enjoyed their Caesar dressing. Also an order of their garlic knots which were very good. My only complaint is for me personally didn't care for the pizza. It didn't seem like anything special, I would have liked a crisper crust and all the toppings were mainly centered on the pizza. My husband liked their pizza. I won't take away stars for my personal option on the taste since I was the only one eating who didn't like it. I'd come back again and stick with the salad and knots! read more

I do not recommend eating at this establishment on Saturday Nights. When I arrived with 2 other people on 4/10/21, the dinning area was approx. 3/4 full and 2 people were waiting for their take out order. Walking up to the counter, I was told that it will be an hour wait. I said that I can not wait that long and was told "I'm sorry". The girl didn't ask me what I wanted to order but had she asked, she would've found out the order to be 1 salad, 2 slices of pizza, and 3 drinks. After the apology, the reason given was that a lot of phone orders just came in... I thought to myself, this restaurant values take out orders more than in-person dinners, which in my mind is ludicrous. Why would a eating establishment turn away dinners who took the time to choose, drive, and walk in to eat at your place of business only to be turned away? The first time we had a pizza from Sliced, it was really good. Staff is amazing as well. Last night, 3/19/2017, we ordered a to-go pizza with olives and red onions. the olives were minced and very little amount, the red onions were chopped really small too, and like the olives, there were hardly any on the pizza. the meat portion on the pizza was fine and so was the cheese. the lack of the vegetables on the pizza was really disappointing. What a great find , we try to find local places on the weekends with friends and this place is a gem...now your not getting gourmet food here, but what you will get is great pizza and calzones at a fair price as well as some good adult libations. We started with some wings, garlic parmesan, they were good in size and flavor, not great and some complimentary garlic knots...yummy...next we had a small 14 inch pizza with ricotta, sausage and fresh basil and a calzone with onions and mushrooms...both were the stars of the night along with the IPAs that were flowing, staff was quick efficient especially being that there were just 2 people handling the entire dining area....we will definatly put Sliced into our regular rotation. read more

Excellent pie..thin and foldable. Fresh ingredients. We ordered an 18" with spinach, chicken and mushrooms. We got an unexpected surprise of garlic knots as an appetizer. The garlic knots were piping hot and delicious. The only thing that would have made them better would have been more....and maybe some marinara sauce to accompany them. We ordered beers with our pie...they really weren't cold enough for our liking, but perhaps they are working out the kinks with stock. Personally, I think the restaurant would do better with table service. I would have ordered another beer (boost their sales) and I would suggest they add a line for tips on the credit card receipt..gas money for the crew. Amazing calzones and the best homemade ranch dressing!!! So, so good!! My husband and son always get a pizza and share but I couldn't imagine ever going to Slice and not getting my mushroom and cheese calzone. We were trying to find a pizza place in or near Winder. N we came across Sliced. We went in n ordered a large cheese pie with peppers onions mushrooms sausages a calzone n a plian cheese slice 2 sodas. Bill was $31.03. Waitress brought our pizza to the table. No calzone no plain slice. She said we didn't order any plain slice nor a calzone. I said Yes. Those were the first things I ordered before the pie. She said no. I asked... The pie alone n 2 sodas were $31.00. She said yes n walked away. She checked n said we only ordered the pie. I'm livid. $31 for a pie. Its deceiving on the board. It says .50 per topping. No it's $2.75 per topping. The pie hardly had any toppings on it and the pie was paper thin. I never would of ordered a pie with toppings at $2.75 each topping. N pay $31.00 for a pie. The cashier was rude. I will never go back nor will I ever recommend Sliced to anyone. So livid.. i feel so ripped off. read more

The atmosphere of this place was pretty cool. Rustic yet modern. Reminds you of a place in New York. We ordered 3 slices of pizza and garlic knots. The tables weren't clean but someone soon came out to clean a table for us. It was busy so we understood. Our pizza came within a few minutes. No garlic knots. We asked and the lady said she was going to check on them. We waited and ate our pizza for around 20 minutes. We then asked about them again. Then finally the knots arrived. They weren't the best. Went to check this place out as an alternative to another pizza place in Hoschton. Pleasantly surprised. Man working the counter was extremely nice and upbeat. We ordered a couple of slices and a calzone. Cheese slice and one with pepperoni. Sat down in a booth and before long the counter attendant brought us the best garlic knots I've had since I moved to GA. Light, fluffy and free. Pleasant, delicious surprise. Pretty good pizza! Certainly the best around Hoschton & Braselton! They need to watch the salt though - sometimes the pizzas are too salty. If you are salt sensitive, make sure you ask them to hold back any extra salt. Crust is good and ingredient options are interesting! read more
