If you're looking for a great hole-in-the-wall spot on Folly Beach for Pizza, then this place is it! Set on Center Street right between E. Cooper and E. Ashley is perhaps one of the smallest pizza shops in Charleston that packs a might punch. While on a quick beach trip, we discovered this "By the Slice" shop. I honestly have only really seen these up North, so it was a nice surprise to find right on the strip at Folly. For just under $7.00 you can grab any slice of pizza and a fountain drink, perfect if you're hanging out at the beach or looking for a quick bite. On this visit we met the owner, who's been down here since the 1980s, but originally is from Philadelphia so he actually has a good idea how to make pizza! ; ) If you're looking for a quick bite and a tasty slice or a whole pie, I'd definitely go back myself! Guten Appetit!

If you're craving authentic New York-style pizza on Folly Beach, you absolutely have to stop at Slice of Folly! This place perfectly captures that classic, thin-crust feel, and it's conveniently located right on the main drag of Center Street. The service was fantastic--the staff was incredibly friendly and moved fast, making the whole experience quick and enjoyable. Whether you want a quick, satisfying bite or a whole pie to share, they've got you covered. The pizza itself was delicious; great sauce, quality toppings, and that perfect foldable crust, just like in NY. Seating is limited (it's more of a quick stop-and-go spot), but that's part of its charm. You can grab a cold beer to wash down your slices and maybe stand outside to soak up the beach town atmosphere and sunshine I highly recommend giving Slice of Folly a try. It's a great, easy-going spot for some seriously good pizza!

Stopped by Slice of Folly on the way to the peer They sell all of your favorites pizzas by the slice or you can order a whole pizza. They have a small dine in section at a bar by the wall or you can take your slice to go. I had a slice of cheese pizza and a diet Coke. I ate at the little bar. The pizza was delicious, thin crust, New York Style. It is a nice little place for a grab and go bite of pizza. I thought the prices were a little steep, but I got my food quickly and it was tasty.

I enjoyed my slice of pizza and garlic knot. I found this on the walk back to the beach house and ordered a buffalo chicken slice and one garlic knot with marinara. Service was very friendly and the food tasted great. It was heated up in minutes and I ate on the sidewalk at one of the small tables outside. The marinara dipping cup was extra - I think with breadsticks and similar items they should be included. Other than that, nice quick place. For how small it is, it's cute and spacious on the inside.

The BEST pizza I've had in all of South Carolina. Great prices, and delicious New York style pizza. Ate it too quick to even get a picture of it.

The services is fast and serve is friendly! He even heat up the pizzas and with 4 big slices he gave me a box to carry them! It was delicious!

We love Slice of Folly! We always eat from here when we're visiting the beach or staying on Folly! The service is always great even when they are busy!

This place serves the perfect slice of hot pepperoni pizza. It reminds me of slices from New York or Madrid, Spain. Thank you Brandon! You made my night. Cheers

Some of the best pizza we have ever had! We got it more than once while on our trip. We thought the pizza was better than the cheese bread.

Well- with the above average pricing, I expect above average food. Simple. What we got was between borderline disgusting and the wish to just go in the kitchen and make it myself. My wife had the pancakes and I had the breakfast with potatoes 2 sunny side up eggs, 2 sausages and bacon. I mean- how do you think a sunny side up swimming in egg white on top is good? If they think that's how a sunny side up egg needs to look like- well- they might consider asking people next time- I make sunny side up eggs very often and there are tricks not to burn it and still have all of the egg white getting solid- If the cook doesn't know, feel free to contact me. I didn't say nothing because it took already almost 30 minutes for our 2 simple breakfasts to get to our table. The bacon was ok- and the potatoes also ok- I'm not saying good- I'm saying OK. The sausages super greasy. also- the salt in the salt dispenser was wet. I had to open the bottom to get salt out. Let's not forget this piece of rock supposedly a biscuit. It was burned and hard and Idk if it was just a left over from the day before or if the cook didn't know when to take it out of the oven. It was not edible. My wife's pancakes.. I don't know- they were dry, tasted like grease (Idk who makes pancakes in grease and not butter) and had a very weird color, what was even worse with the dark lighting (not an issue, it just increased the visual impression of the pancakes). My wife asked and they said- oh- we put some cinnamon in the doe. Well- Not saying my wife is allergic- but a warning would had been good- and maybe a choice, as it's not everyone's favorite to get pancakes with cinnamon in them which do not even taste remotely like cinnamon- I tried. And then charging us over $4,00 for sweet tea??? come on. I get that for soda- and for the beach- location- but come on... So overall- I will not say the food was super bad- it was on the verge where I'd say- if there would be a waffle house or a Cracker Barrel beside Rita's, go there. You get slightly better food quality for a 1/3rd of the price. Needless to say- we didn't eat there for my wife's birthday dinner. Over all- we paid a whooping $50.00 for 2 little below average breakfasts. So if people giving more than 2 starts for this restaurant- I wonder how bad of food they are actually used to. Conclusion: Absolutely not worth it.

They serve pizza, pastas and salads plus a few desserts. I ordered the cheese pizza with mushrooms, and it did not disappoint. The crust had that perfect crispy-yet-chewy texture, the cheese was delicious, and the mushrooms added just the right amount of flavor. ( oh my word, the waitress almost got pummeled with a soccer ball while holding wine glasses, beers and pizza!) What is happening here!?! Is this chucky cheese?? No wait, you have to sign a waiver to enter chuck's! But not here.... You order your food, have some drinks and wait to watch who's gonna be the 1st one to get into litigation with this business. There were 1yr olds playing on this Astro turf and 10yr olds trying to see if they could make it to the World Cups. And it's always 1 table that will ruin all for the whole crowd. A table full of adults on their phones as their children terrorize the rest of the other children trying to play nice. And if you ask the servers to get a manager to ask them to take the balls away they say, "sorry we can't, the owner set it up." Well, owner you beware, if watching out for your employees and patrons are not top priority then I will take my business over to Rays where the pizza is better and/or just drink my alcohol at the Oddessy and get my food there. A place where I won't have to protect my little ones like a mama bear and have road rage like issues while I'm trying to have a nice dinner. Sorry, not sorry....
