I know y'all think Chicagoan's eat stuffed pizza all year round. For me I crave it like once a year. But on the day I ordered a stuffed pizza from Slice Factory my craving went unsatisfied. Stuffed pizza takes a really long time to cook because it's so thick. I got mine by delivery and all the timing added up. But the pizza was extra doughy in the middle and almost floppy at the bottom? I even tried to save it by cooking it longer in my oven and the crust just wasn't right. The sauce and cheese were ok. It just didn't have the flavor I'm used to from other local pizza places. Maybe the giant slices are a different story. And they do have late night hours. Just not going to rush to try Slice Factory again. read more

They don't adhere to a 24 hour schedule as they have written on their building and signage and still, after covid, impose a "covid tax" by charging extra that goes to the business on all food. First off, I rarely bash a business. It has to be something worth complaining about because I know everyone has bad days. this place is lazy. They will never cook your pizza well done and will give you every excuse under the sun and today the excuse was the pizza will catch on fire. Lol and said it's fresh out the oven but Pizza was cold and looked whiter than Casper the friendly ghost. The big thick girl, and that skinny toothpick girl both have attitudes and act like they don't want to be there. I know when they stand next to each other they look like a 10 but this place definitely deserves a 0. I ordered here because I previously ordered from Slice Factory on Ogden in Berwyn, IL and it was fantastic. I couldn't have been more disappointed in the Slice Factory in Burbank, IL. First, they put way less toppings than the store in Berwyn ( a lot less) like they had run out of sausage and mushroom. Second, the pizza was underdone and nobody likes soggy crust. OUTSTANDING PLACE and STELLAR EFFORT! Had to work the overnight shift during the snowstorm from hell. My go to place was closed. NO other place that offered delivery was delivering. EXCEPT SLICE FACTORY. Now mind you, Im a die hard patron of a pizza place in justice that has been feeding me for years so I was hesitant to try any place new. I placed the order for a Cheese and Sausage Pizza and a Double bacon burger. Price was about right. One VERY MINOR mishap occured when they entered the delivery point as being on 79th street as opposed to 71st street. NOT A PROBLEM AT ALL!. The Driver arrived in a reasonable time, the food was HOT. On to the food.....the pizza rivals my usual spot. VERY VERY GOOD and DARE I say Chicago Quality! (Im a lifer in chicago and its HARD for us to rate outsiders as being Chicago Quality so youre doing good!) The BURGER!...This was a masterpiece! DE-LISH and the waffle fries were good as well! The Phone Girl was polite and professional and did all she could to insure the food was on the way. Because of the EFFORT you made during a hellish storm and the quality of your food and service, you earned a 5 star and I DONT hand those out lightly.
