This restaurant is the biggest disappointment! Don't bother ordering from here. If they don't screw up your order repeatedly they "attempt" to revamp the menu (pretty sure it's been 4x now) and the few things you've actually come to enjoy get ruined with some new idea that just ends up further turning you off to this place! Their attempts to make things better have just made it more unappealing. Fix the things that are truly issues and leave the few things alone that customers actually enjoy! We have spent ALOT of money here and have tried time and time again to give this place a fair shot and they just keep failing! I have to admit I was concerned when I saw some of the reviews. We moved into Tuscany about 4 months ago and was delighted there was a bar/restaurant in the development. We've had breakfast there about a dozen times and service has been fast and always accurate. We've never been disappointed! Recently we tried the chicken and ordered on of the family packs. It was great as well. Chef Ivan has a number of specials that we want to check out next! It's nice to have a local place so close, decent food, free delivery. Let's keep 'em busy! read more

Terrible service....just waited 15 minutes and no server ever showed up out on the patio to even greet us or take a beverage order or give us a menu. I don't believe the pizza crust is fresh at all its like one of those 3$ pizzas you get frozen . The cheese isn't a gooey cheesie texture it's more solid kinda like fake cheese . My dad said there fried chicken is amazing . So maybe they should leave pizza alone and stick with frying . read more

When I asked for Italian beef sandwich with no bread which was amazing and a lot of meat, she actually paid attention and left the croutons off my salad - very few waitress listen to that. Just got home from Slice 19 and doubt we will be back! The place was understaffed and clearly mismanaged. We were a party of 5 and wanted to sit outside on the patio. After waiting for 10 minutes for tables to be cleaned we ended up just doing it ourselves, during which the waitress came to the table and ignored the fact that we were trying to clean it ourselves and just took the last check from the table! Only after I went inside and asked for something to wipe the table off with did someone come out and wipe it off! My wife ordered a chicken Ceasar wrap which was dry and unseasoned. I asked for cheese on my sandwich and it arrived with no cheese and barely warm! To top it all off, we had two tables near us that sat with food and dirty dishes on them for the entire time we were there....the flys that were attracted were an awesome touch! We had an exceptional dining experience at the Slice 19, along with a few adult beverages during HH. Our waiter, Joel, was spot on, taking our drink orders within a minute or so after we were seated, tended to our requests immediately, and was attentive throughout. The poke bowl was fresh and full of a flavor. The chicken quesadilla was generously filled and yummy. The pumpkin ravioli was definitely worth going back for more. We just left Slice 19. Now we're headed out to get dinner. My husband and I went to Slice 19 this evening for dinner. Apparently, it's Taco Tuesday, but we weren't in the mood for tacos, so we told our server that we'd order off the menu. When asked if they still had their "summer" dinners (that were still in the back of the menu), our server had to ask another server. He came over, and after discussing it, both servers left to go find a printed copy of their new menu. After a minute, they both came back and the male server verbally told us the new dinner menu. I ordered the shrimp scampi, along with a side salad, and my husband ordered the skirt steak - medium, with a green sauce. Our server wasn't sure if the steak came with a salad, so my husband ordered one anyway. After eating our salads, our "dinner" came out. My shrimp scampi was 6 shrimp on a plate - $12.00. My husband's "medium" skirt steak was a very small portion, over cooked - beyond well done! They called this skirt steak an entree, but all it was was an over cooked steak with green sauce - for $15.99. We found out my shrimp scampi was an appetizer, not an entree. After telling our server about the overdone steak, she told us that she'd take 10% off my husband's steak. So, a $40.00 "meal" and we're out looking for another restaurant for dinner. read more

It looks like a pizza, it smells like a pizza --but is it a pizza? The "pizza" has a good flavor profile which is why we don't mind ordering delivery sometimes but the problem lies when the slice of pizza literally falls apart while eating it. The culprit: The sauce or the cheese? I personally, think it's the sauce that is to blame here. The sauce is a bit to watered down that it may cause the cheese to not adhere to the dough. Therefore, the entire layer of cheese and toppings slides right off, like me on a slip n' slide, with my initial bite leaving me with a wet pizza dough on one hand and a layer of cheese and toppings hanging from my mouth. This has happened consistently time after time. So, I've given up calling this wet doughy food product "pizza" and began calling it "not-pizza". Is it good? Yes, its decent flavors, but is it pizza? No way. Pizza gods would be angry. Could it also be a cheese quality problem? Perhaps too. I may not care for their pizza construction all that much, but what i do really like about them is their friendliness on the phone while ordering and their delivery driver's professionalism. Delivery drivers are always super nice, well groomed and well mannered. I have never eaten at the physical establishment before and have always ordered delivery. Continuing food review: Their mac n cheese is terrible and their mashed potatoes with gravy were awful with a unique bitter taste to them. Perhaps they were expired? I'd never tasted a bitter mashed potato before until then. Chili cheese fries? No good. Chili tastes too salty like that from a can and the shredded cheese layers cold as soon as it hits any type of positive temperature change. Nacho cheese, instead of shredded cheese would be the answer to this mess. So what is good here? *Kids Chicken tenders- 6 out of 10. *Pizza is a 5 out of 10. i like the flavor profile and that is it. Their forte is their desserts. Although a steep $7.99, their iron skillet chocolate chip cookie is awesome. I will rarely order this because of the price, but if it was $4.99 i would order this with my "not-pizza" every time. It comes with a scoop of ice cream which is a plus. Also good is their chocolate fudge cake. Also comes in at a steep $7.99 per slice. I think $5.99 would be a fair price for this and i would order it often at that price. The Apple Pie slice, which is priced better than the others at $5.99, has been good before. Unfortunately, inconsistency killed it. 2 out of 4 times I've ordered it, it simply tastes old and expired. Good thing is that it also comes with a scoop of ice cream. Ice cream is consistent and good, In conclusion, the "not-pizza" is good, but would prefer regular pizza. Their desserts are mostly excellent but overpriced in my opinion. I have only commented on things i have ordered before and do not have any comments on their other menu items. I will personally not try the other items on their menu as their track record is not good in this house and the odds are obviously against me. I hope this establishment gets better. I am rootin' for them. They have a good crew out delivering and taking phone orders. read more

Visited some friends in the area and they took us out to this local joint. Pizza is pretty good out in the desert. It was made really well. I've been going to this place for about 4 years now since I live in the neighborhood. It used to be great and we had so much fun here and spent SO much money. Within the last year, everything has gone downhill and I honestly think my Slice 19 days are just about over. About a month ago, we sat down outside on the patio. Got a drink order put in within 5 minutes, but after 45 minutes go by, another waitress came by and asked if we had our drinks yet. I told her what we ordered, but never received them. We got our drinks by her, but had to order our food by calling in while sitting outside because that's the last of the waitresses we've seen. We ordered a BBQ plate. Should be done fairly quick right? Hour and a half goes by and it's sitting in the warmer. Didn't come with rice like it was supposed to, and the steamed asparagus was fresh cut from the grocery store and thrown on my plate. Aside from that, my entire BBQ plate was FAT. Didn't even touch it, went straight in the trash after I brought it home and realized. Yesterday we ordered breakfast burritos before our tee time, and had to order To to since it took forever to be acknowledged. We started eating our food and I was hoping what I saw was melted cheese, but it was just runny eggs. Went straight to the trash. We are new to Lake Las Vegas area and always looking for a "casual bite to eat" nearby since there isn't much between here and Green Valley or Galleria Mall area. Happened upon this restaurant in a neighboring golf course community. Sat outside on the nice patio in this perfect balmy weather and received great service. We shared a Greek salad (fresh, crisp, perfect dressing), a Chimera pizza (a little too much cheese, not enough sauce or oregano but overall pretty good), and chicken wings with two different sauces. Really good and crispy (no breading). The menu has quite a lot to choose from, so I could see coming here often and trying different things.
