She operated on that Cancer, removed it and then arranged to have a great Radiation specialist do the follow-up radiation. I have been Cancer free for over 14 years now. I was told I would lose my Salivary glands due to the extreme radiation required, but the specialist she brought in was able to prevent any further problems. If not for her dedication and thoroughness I doubt I would be writing this now. Since then she has been my go to ENT and I have never been disappointed with her. I highly recommend Dr. Redfeldt for all your INT needs. She is a great physician. The depth of her knowledge is unmatched and She really cares for her patients.

I was having problems with my voice for the last 3 months and I felt uncomfortable swallowing at times. I scheduled an appointment for 9/23. 2 days later a person on her office staff called me and told me she would do a Telemedicine call only and if she saw fit, She would have me come in. GREAT! Docs are now charging patients their full copay, mine is $30 for a telephone consult an then charge another $30 to come into the office to be checked. $60.....come on! So, I call my other ENT in Phoenix. They told me by all means, come in, we even have an opening tomorrow. So I went in and had a full exam. He even scoped my throat by putting a endoscope in my nose and down my throat and had me make certain sounds. The Dr. found some problems that I will not go into her but he told me to discontinue an inhaler that I was using that was prescribed by another Dr. He also said some of my problem may be due to acid reflux and I may have to change from OTC meds to something more suited for my condition. So tell me, how could that diagnosis been made via the phone? It wold have cost me $60 instead of $30. This Telemdicine this is a racket, a licence for doctors to increase their bottom line. They can charge you your deductible and code whatever they want to the insurance company. I have already dismissed 3 of my long term docs for bad practices like this. I dismissed my PCP last November after 15 years. I was in a car accident and went to the hospital emergency. The Hospital told me to see my PCP and follow up in 3 weeks with my PCP. My normal copay is $20 to my PCP and he wanted $150, what a rip for a follow up. I told them I am a patient for 15 years, they told me that they asked the Dr. and he said that is the rate.I tried to get the Dr. to change it but no go, so I quit his practice also. Why do doctors feel it is ok to fleece ther patients.

Well my severe Obstructive Sleep Apnea is at 48 times and hour ( perpetually ) and my acute Narcolepsy T1 W cataplexy is being treated at Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix now. The MA said I didn't have Narcolepsy to get around the fact that she isn't certified to treat Narcolepsy instead of allowing me to actually see a doctor. If you want to trust them that's fine but I had 3 sleep studies done prior to theirs and they are the odd man out. This is a trick some doctors will do to get you to sign up for other tests you don't need but it gives them the ability to bill your insurance for them. Buyer beware!

Two days prior to appt w/CBT it was cx'd as I was told 'he had an appt'. What? Explained situation that I've been on books for 2 months and awaiting sleep test. Was told I'd be put on 'immediate cancellation list' for next few days. Never was contacted. Sleep test: home test went horribly wrong from the start. Technician not available to instruct me on equip so front desk receptionist showed me in 7 mins. Failed to mention one cannot sleep on side or face down w/kit. I pulled out 100 hairs as sticky's moved during night to scalp. System did not read. They ordered a second test of differing kind: Velcro strap was sized for girth of a horse and slipped off during night, so again no read. Asked to repeat test and was told 'no'. Ok, now for tele call for results from Wilmar- had appt for 10 am...9.55 she's not signed on yet, 10 not signed on. 10:05. 10:10 no sign on. Finally I call front office and she eventually calls me back asking if I'd like to reschedule for off appt. She didn't know how to use telecall! We had 8 min of conversation which she just read from report and could not explain anything to me. Waste of time and money. Do not recommend. Found out later CBT left practice. I never once saw an MD. Wilma did recommend an at clinic sleep study. Hard pass as wouldn't trust them to do a proper study.

This is where machines and supplies are ordered and distributed. At least that's what my understanding and experience is. It took weeks to get an appointment, but that was my understanding I had after my sleep study. I know they are low on staff as I was specifically told that. Maybe not the best thing to tell clients, but oh well. I finally got an appointment after telling the scheduler that my doctor was very concerned that I didn't have my machine yet. I got in in few days later. My machine was thoroughly explained and demonstrated. The person I met with was down to business but friendly. Since I had a lot of questions, my appointment was about an hour. I left feeling pretty good about machine functions and expectation for success. I called to swap out the nose piece since the one I had was uncomfortable and picked up the new ones the same day, with no issues whatsoever. I've had nothing but good interactions and service here. I guess I'm the anomaly.

I need this information for surgery and for the insurance to approve specific medication. Well 3 weeks passed and the Dr's office called to confirm if it was scheduled, I said no and they asked me to contact your office and I did. The lady who answered said for some reason my insurance is taking awhile to get verified. After going back and forth I asked to speak to a supervisor and that was the worst decision yet. The supervisor was extremely short. She kept placing me on hold with out permission. Everything I was asking her was a problem like she was upset before she got on the phone. She said we expedite it, I tried to give her my reps number at molina who could verify she refused. She kept talking to me like I was child or slow. I told her multiple times I didnt appreciate the way she was talking to me. Moving forward Im back at the Dr's office last week and the lady who sent the referral said I called then and the insurance is verified. You should have no problem scheduling. We'll I called while I was there and the lady put me on hold and said a supervisor has to schedule your appointment. I asked is that protocol she was trying her best not to answer. Basically it sounded like that lady put a note under my name. And to be honest I feel like im being racial profiled. Good thing for me I recorded the last part of the call. The lady refused to let me talk to anyone else. Im told their is no corporate number and Basically no one is higher then the supervisor. So I would like a call back. Nobody should have to go through this to get medical attention. Hope to hear back from someone soon

The first woman I met with, possibly one of the doctors, had recommended that I have second sleep study that would be more informative than my first. She made it sound like it would give us more information and then that would open doors for more helpful options. I followed her advice and I waited two months for the next opening for a sleep study. The tech that worked that night was super kind. The sleep area itself, nothing to brag about. I did not sleep at all that night and was worried the results would come back inconclusive. I go in for my follow up appointment and assumed I would be meeting with one of the doctors. A NP came in and notified me that I have a mild case of sleep apnea. This was the exact information that the first sleep study reported. Immediately, I realized I just wasted a ton of money. I asked her how they came to that conclusion considering I didn't even sleep the entire study. She said they could tell on the test what my issues were. I told her I didn't understand how they were coming to the conclusion that I had sleep apnea when sometimes I just don't fall asleep. She quipped back that sleep apnea causes insomnia. I actually don't even know if that is 100% accurate. I told her that there was no way I could sleep with a CPAP and asked what other options were available. She didn't seem like she was full of ideas as the first woman. She recommended that I go back to my primary care doctor to get a referral so I could go see an ear, nose, throat doctor. She suggested that maybe my septum was deviated OR I could have an underlying issue since she was able to rule out obesity as an issue. I asked her if a mouthguard would help. The first woman I met with seemed to think mouthguards were helpful. The non-MD said, no it would not work.. I was so put off by this interaction that I just didn't care to ask any more questions. Not only did I have to pay for the sleep study that literally gave no new information but I had to pay a co-pay for this disappointing follow up appointment. This experience felt like a total waste of money and time. Sounds like the only option they offer is a CPAP or they return you to your primary care Dr.
