Beware! Sleep RX is a scam company. This company called me continuously explaining that my insurance company has 100% paid for CPAP supplies which ultimately were not necessary. In addition, they are now sending me past due invoices for $626.94 and sending this to collections which will impact my credit report. Really not happy with my experience. This is the third time I have called about receiving an email to complete the paperwork to get a cpap. First, they got my email wrong, then I called to confirm that it is correct and now I'm calling because I never received it. This shouldn't take four plus calls to get it right. I agree with other reviewers that the staff seems inexperienced and unprofessional. Wanted to check with my insurance to find another provider but the BCBS call center is having technical difficulties too. Ugh! read more

Weird customer service experiences every time I spoke with someone from their company. I'm not sure if they are shady, lazy, sloppy, or a combination. The near constant blaming of other people for things that weren't even a problem was bizarre. The first call I placed, they stated 3 times the doctor's office never sent over the request and then found it but said it came in on a different day that was still 3 days prior to my call. The second call was for them to tell me that it was being processed... Why didn't you start that the other day? The third call was to tell me I was approved but they didn't want to tell me how much everything would cost. At that point, I told them I would need to research the device they were suggesting and if they could get back to me and tell me how much they sell them for, that would be helpful. Fourth call was from my Dr's office saying they had sent over a message stating that I had refused their services. Wait, what? Good thing I had been look at these machines and had an idea of who to get one from... Fifth call was placed by my insurance company with me on the line to get them to release the pre approval they should have released 2 weeks prior when they sent the message to the doctor. "They'll get to it when they have time and then it will take as long as the insurance company takes." Sixth call was to ask if they had gotten to it yet... "I sent it to my boss, and she will get to it when she has time. We have no way of knowing the insurance needed us to let them know." read more

Never had a problem until recently. Horrible customer follow up and service. Was told per conversation of a mistake on their end that may cost me money. Was told I'd get a follow up call. Instead, two days later I receive a charge $20 more than originally told without ever being called. I understood I may have to pay without insurance benefits but it would have nice to be forewarned of a $300 charge against an account. I will go to CVS and pick my own supplies for now on. read more

Do not use this company. They tell you incorrect prices, and then send you supplies you don't need. The only reason I found out is because they overcharged me. I needed a nose pillow set, they sent me an entire system. Better yet they don't accept responsibility for their actions. read more

I ordered the new Airfit F30 complete set because they have it in stock, but they told me to try it on first see if I like it. So I went and drove all the way to Skokie and when I sat in the office they told me they don't have the sample. So I was mad because the reason why I went is to try first instead of mailing it to me. But when I got mad they open a new one and they told me I can try it on. The mask is really good and I knew right away that this is a much better fit than F20. So when I was driving back home I notice that they gave me the "Sample and Not for resale". What kind of people are they. They are a bunch of liars and when I called them they told me it's up to me if I want to come back and change it to another stock. I'm very satisfied with SleepRx because they know when my Medical insurance allows, and I don't have to worry about that. All the employees are so helpful, and I'm especially happy with Ronnie and his expertise in answering any questions I may have. This place is so incredibly sketchy it's not even funny. In addition they are the most incredibly rude and obnoxious customer service people I have ever encountered. The "supervisor" was the rudest of all. They tried to tell me that they could diagnose what was wrong with my CPAP machine over the phone or with a video. I'm so grateful for Sleep Rx! They have been nothing but awesome (esp. John and Sana). I had my previous CPAP through Advocate Home Health, the literal worst company ever, and they failed to tell me that they no longer took my insurance as of 1/1/17. I had to scramble to find a new DME company and found that Sleep Rx takes my insurance; within about 24 hours, they were calling me to set up a time for a respiratory therapist to deliver my new machine. Their customer service is excellent and they are nice and helpful. I can't say enough good things about these folks! Highly, highly recommend them. read more

I placed an order with these people for 2 SleepRx mouth guards and on April 3 the order was delivered with only 1 mouth guard. I've sent 2 emails to their customer service people and have not heard back from them. I'm sending a 3rd this morning. As a returning customer who really likes their product I'm very frustrated and disappointed. My wife tells me this mouth guard has stopped most of my snoring and has saved our marriage. To sum up in one word: Incompetent. I moved from Atlanta to Chicago and needed a new CPAP machine. My doctor here referred me to SleepRx and they set up an appointment time. The lady gets to my house with a $375 machine and a bunch of supplies in ziplock bags. It seemed sketchy. I reluctantly take the machine and supplies because I desperately needed them. A year goes by (they called randomly to offer parts but I only got one part order in 12 months) and the machine breaks. I call the manufacturer and the device is OUT OF WARRANTY after twelve months. The new unit they sold me was a referb cheap unit that they billed my insurance $1200 for and I could pick up online for $375. So now SleepRx has ultimately screwed me because for then next 4 years I am stuck with their broken unit and my old ResMed unit that is now 6 years old. So I have to buy a new unit out of pocket. I managed to talk to someone at SleepRx who told me that since the product was out of warranty I was on the hook to pay for the new unit. What excellent customer service. Because you decided to be shady and sell me a cheap refurbished unit with a one year warranty I am on the hook for your crookedness. If they had not been so shady I could have had a brand new unit with a 5 year warranty which would cover me for the full insurance period of 5 years. Furthermore, there is no website that you can order parts and supplies from. It all has to be done over the phone and on their schedule. Whenever they decide to call you have to pickup the phone and talk to them. Take my advice and stay far away from this company. TLDR; Provided a second rate machine with only 1/5th the warranty coverage period so they could make more money. Gave me supplies in non-medical ziploc bags that are not in sterile packaging. read more

Perhaps some of the other commenters encountered individuals who weren't up to snuff, but my own history with them is uniformly positive--they are responsive and friendly, and really seem to care. First check out their Better Business Bureau Rating it is a D-, read on if you need to but that should be enough to say AVOID at ALL COST As many others have already stated Sleep Rx Skokie are staffed with a bunch of incompetent liars. Worked with Ronnie for years and he was decent, not the most professional, but he is clearly just a kid and he got the job done. But they all trip over each other. Some Camele sticks her nose into my order and tries to up sell me to a new machine, but insurance won't pay for it because my deductible is not met. So instead she places and order for all of my supplies for old machine even though I clearly stated, "I'm not interested in paying any out of pocket for supplies and especially not for a new machine if I have to pay full price." So what happens, they over course send me the entire set of supplies I said not to. They charge my credit card almost $400 bucks. Then they lie and Walter at the shop lies and says "Just put it out front and refuse deliver" post office will take it back. That is a bunch of BS and they know. Post office wont take it back if you open the box. Post office said it to my face because I tried to take it back. So then and only then does this outstanding outfit offer to send me postage paid label to mail it back. Something they clearly could have done up front if they weren't trying to go on the cheap. However, since the box the sent originally was beat to heck and I told them that they didn't care. They said "sorry you have to go find a box, and that the post man will just pick that up". Well there is lie number two. They only pick up those boxes that are pre-printed by Post Office. I explained all of this to them and said good customer service usually makes up for their mistakes and doesn't require the customer to jump through a bunch hoops to fix their mistake. They didn't care, "Sorry that is how we do things" Biggest insult is the "supervisor" Chris who wasn't even man enough to talk to a dissatisfied customer of 4 years. These guys suck. They don't know what they are doing. They called me 10 days ago to check on my supply order. I supplies they were to mail immediately. Then they called again a week ago to do the same thing. Then they called a third time! I still don't have my supplies. This is the second time in a year they forgot to mail my stuff out. Who does that? I wonder if they ever made a claim for supplies to my insurance company but never sent me the supplies? I don't pay that close of attention so I might not have noticed. I suggest you ask your health care provider to send their order elsewhere and maybe you can get the medical care you need. Worst customer service ever. I can't even give this company 1 star. Had to repair a CPAP unit. No effort on their part. I had to call manufacturer to get info on SleepRx to send in. SleepRx held onto unit for over 6 weeks until getting work order to mail in. Since their customer service does not call and keep you informed, I was in contact with manufacturer. Found out month after unit at manufacturer what cost will be. SleepRx was more about getting $ upfront thanmy medical health. No payment plans, all money upfront and they won't bail insurance company if defuctable not meet! After new year and 2 months still didn't call reference my unit in. SleepRx confirmed after talking to manufacturer. They never call back when promised.
