In the time I was there, the doctor cleaned out some of the excess ear wax in my ears while doing his analysis. I got my insurance bill later and the bill for the consultation was $500 with a $190 charge for surgery. Their office was not helpful when I called regarding the bill and my questions and just told me that the removal of ear wax was considered a surgical procedure in their office.. I was never informed of this being an additional cost when the doctor was cleaning out my ears. It was in no part in relation to or to address the reason for my visit. I am extremely displeased with the handling of my visit and the responses I got back from the billing team with my concerns. I would not recommend going here.

That guy took one look at my nose (didn't scope it, didn't take pictures, etc.) , said nothing was wrong, and said I should get a sleep study (clearly didn't want to be bothered, and I'm not a big enough guy yet to start there). Dr. Vukas took the time, scoped my nose, and noted not only did I have a deviated septum I also could only breathe about 15-20% through my right nostril. Before a sleep study, I chose to have a surgery with Dr. Vukas - who has instrumentally made my life better. I can BREATHE again. And it has helped tremendously at night as well. The EOB showed that I should have paid a lesser amount. As of today, 12/3/2024, I have not received my refund yet. I called the provider which is based out of the Glenbrook Hospital Professional Building and was told they only cut roughly 25 refund checks per week and that they have "lots" of people to refund. How many people's money are they holding? How is holding on to my money for over 6 weeks acceptable? Best case scenario this organization is taking an eternity to refund payments to pad their working capital. Worst case scenario I wasn't even going to receive my refund unless I had called.
