This all changed today and I want to warn others, not because I think there's a problem with the medical review, but office operations and policy for the office are in a word concerning. When making an appointment, I received a text from the office asking me to "text a screenshot of my medical card" so they could verify coverage. This was extremely disconcerting in an age of identity theft and personal information security breach. Despite this, I complied with the request and informed the office assistant that I would review my concerns with the doctor because this was highly irregular. The office assistant informed me "I truly don't I can do much with just your insurance card. I would need all your medical information." What I was trying to point out wasn't that she would personally do anything with my information, but that the possibility of a patient's information residing on someone's personal smartphone wasn't probably the best policy. I again emphasized that if that information would be lost, the doctor would be liable. Two minutes later, this was followed up by another text, "I will delete the image now that it's in your chart" and that the alternative for sending a screenshot was to drive to the doctor's office prior to my visit as they were trying to save me from an advanced trip. Funny, when I had changed my insurance in the past this was never an issue. I didn't respond to this text and again, complied with the request without further issue. One hour later, I receive a text "after conferring with the office and completing a full cost-benefit analysis - it was decided that perhaps you should find another practice that suits your needs better than Associated Medicine Physicians. We took the liberty of canceling your visit. Be well." I wanted to post this here because it's important for both customer and doctors to understand how serious securing personal information is in today's world. Most data breaches happen not because the original intent of the information by the initial parties was to do something detrimental. Rather, data breaches happen often because those handling it either aren't completely clear about the limits and extent to which the technology their using (assumed deletion) can be used against them by bad actors, or, most common, unintentional transfer of information usually done unknowingly. Regardless It's important to call this out because no one wants to turn on the news or read online they were unintentionally a victim of a data breach. Dr. Levy is a good doctor. However, I'd think twice before sending my personal data via text to an office assistant if I were still a patient with the practice.

They don't even know which insurance plans they accept--every one of our claims was incorrectly filed as out-of-network when they were actually in-network. Fixing this has been a major hassle, and despite multiple messages asking for the billing manager to call us back, no one has returned our calls. Instead, we were told that the doctor's wife handles billing, but no one knows when she comes in. We are now receiving final bill notices, yet the office has locked us out of the patient portal due to non-payment, making it impossible to access our records or communicate through that system. When my wife asked how she could reach her doctor or someone who could help, she was told to use the portal--the very one we had been locked out of. All we are trying to do is get them to resubmit these claims correctly as in-network so we can pay the bill and move on. That's it. And yet, we're met with roadblock after roadblock. To top it off, they advertise themselves as a concierge practice, which is laughable. Concierge medicine is supposed to provide premium care, personalized attention, and easy access to the physician and staff. Here, they don't even answer the phone over lunch. Why not stagger lunch breaks like any other service-oriented business instead of shutting down entirely? The final straw was when my wife--who is battling stage 4 cancer--called for the third time to resolve this, only to be scolded for trying to fix a 2024 billing issue in 2025. Unfortunately, we had more pressing matters last year. We're done. As soon as this gets resolved, we'll be finding a new doctor. If you're considering this practice, I'd strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

My wonderful internist retired a few months back. I have since seen Dr. Peterson at Covenant, and while I respect her as clinician, I cannot be more disappointed in her staff, particularly her billing person. I was billed for a service that I did not receive during a visit. When I called to discuss this, the biller was utterly disrespectful, rude, and demeaning. She shouted at me, would not let me get a word in, and when I tried to speak, she repeatedly cut me off by saying "LET ME FINISH". I have never been treated like this by anyone, and the call left me in tears. When I spoke with Dr. Peterson about it, her response was equally disappointing. She didn't apologize even once for the treatment I received, but instead insisted (without evidence) that she provided the service I was questioning. This week, I got another bill for the same service. When I called the office, the same biller responded in the same aggressive manner. She did not want to listen to me at all, and right away she interrupted me with "LET ME FINISH". Instead of receiving listening to my issue, she shut me off and said "I will tell the doctor that you are refusing to pay." Needless to say, I will not be returning to this group for my care. I happen to be in the healthcare field myself and oversee operations of 10 clinics. If any clinic staff ever spoke to our patients in this manner, they would be immediately released. Clinic culture is established from the top. These clinicians are too busy making money to care about respect for their patients.

Very fair. Then it turned out that I needed to gather all of my chart information myself, bc it would be too expensive for them to have a way to view my charts electronically. Very fair, trying to keep costs down. Inconvenient, but fair. Then they could not help me because they wanted my doctor's actual words. I could not provide those, so we were at a standstill. I had pain, they referred me to a doctor who knew more about gyn health. Not a gyn, just someone who knew more - Dr. Jeff was not comfortable with gyn health. I went to her beginning of October I paid her, I waited, no prescription. I texted can Dr. Jeff prescribe? More than a week is a long time to be in pain AFTER the appointment. Dr. Jeff got her to respond. December I need to the same prescription and he had more than 3 months to consult with her and "learn how to prescribe". But could I please just consult with her, and NEXT time he will "learn how to prescribe". He kept saying if I wanted he would prescribe, but every time I asked, he would not. I had figured, I will remain because at least they could prescribe for me without a big fuss, even if he can not actually treat me or help me. Joke is on me, I am still in pain today, will probably end up having to wait 4 weeks in pain until she can see me. If you just want to get the odd strep test, or consult by text about the flu, I assume that would work, I have no experience getting much out of Dr. Jeff. He is very nice, and he is available sometimes on the app, a few hours or days after messages. I paid for 7 months, and got one "checkup", with zero conclusions about what I can do about my problems, and one prescription for one longstanding med out of it. I had zero follow up from him. If you are really healthy and have lots of patience, and no need to transfer any of your records, this is a nice enough place. I still have chest pain and gyn pain, but if you come in healthy you should be happy here.

I arrived at 1:56 PM--four minutes early--and was told by the receptionist that I was "late" and that the doctor might not see me. She contacted Dr. Anderson Parks, who declined to see me. I respectfully asked if they could check again, explaining that I had taken time off work and had arrived before my scheduled appointment time. A staff member (possibly a nurse or scheduler) came out, and followed up with the doctor, and I was told she would not see me. I was then informed that I was expected to arrive at 1:45 PM for a 2:00 PM appointment. However, this requirement was not clearly communicated to me. I showed proof on my phone of both my scheduled appointment time and my arrival, but the staff still refused to accommodate me. To make matters worse, when I asked to speak with a manager, I was given a contact name and number that turned out to be incorrect. When I called, I was told that no one by that name worked there. I have since filed a complaint with Endeavor Health, and they acknowledged that this situation was handled poorly. I regularly see many doctors and have had positive experiences elsewhere, which made this encounter even more awful. Unfortunately, this was one of the most frustrating and unprofessional medical office experiences I've had. I would not recommend this provider.

He has a fantastic sense of humor, never rushes his patients, listens carefully, and does not have a big ego like some other physicians I've worked with. He really allows his patients to be partners, and shows respect for research they've done, also understanding they may know their own bodies well. Our impression is that he errs on the side of caution, and will order tests to rule out conditions, even if he thinks issues are unlikely. We love Dr. Ebihara, and have recommended him to many people. Our son is now old enough to see him, too, and we are glad.
