I never felt judged as a new parent, she was always very nice from the beginning and she told us her honest opinion, every time. I think a lot of parents, especially new parents, can't handle the truth and feel the need to get defensive. She never pushed me, as a new mom, to do anything I didn't feel comfortable. For example, when I TRIED like crazy to breastfeed my daughter (1st child) and didn't work, she encouraged me to try to pump and give her formula, because my mental health was more important and this decision made me take care of my child properly, otherwise I would have been stressed the whole time and wouldn't enjoy my child. People are difficult, especially when they have their 1st child; if something goes wrong, it's everyone else's fault but theirs. We saw each and everyone of the doctors and nurses and medical assistants; they always introduced themselves to us. People have to understand, it's a busy practice and you're not the only one there. If they don't introduce themselves to you, don't take it personally. They see hundreds of kids and parents every day.

I started off with Dr. Grande as my doctor while in…read morethe hospital and was transferred to Dr. Brasky shortly after as he performed my colonoscopy/endoscopy. I'm not the best with change so even the switch from Dr. Grande to Dr. Brasky in a matter of days was hard for me. However, I'm so happy it happened. Dr. Grande is a great doc and I enjoyed the couple interactions I've had with him but Dr. Brasky has been fantastic with my care. As 22 year old with no prior knowledge of Crohn's, I was scared af. Especially when I was hospitalized (for a second time) a week after my diagnosis and starting Pentasa. They switched me to steriods and decided Remicade would be a better treatment. I like that these doctors are cautious when it comes to steroids and biologics. They didn't jump right into tough treatment, instead opting for a Pentasa to start, and I was okay with that. Especially since it's clear I'm a weird Crohn's patient who doesn't really have normal symtoms. I now go to the office every 8 weeks for infusions and I couldn't be a happier patient. The staff is super nice and caring. The nurses are great at finding my tiny veins. And Dr. Brasky has been nothing but nice and is a wonderful doctor. He allows me to make my own decisions but will give his opinion to guide you in the right direction. I know there are some bad reviews on here, so I wanted to add a positive one. I get very anxious about doctors. But I feel very comfortable at this office. I couldn't have asked for a better team of people.
