It appeared once I told her I had not been vaccinated, her demeanor changed and she actually said to me this will have to run its course "If I survive it." Prescribed no meds told me to take walks and do breathing exercise. If I'm having trouble breathing put my head between my legs. Needless to say I found another doctor that cared enough to helped me. And didn't treat me like scum because I wasn't vaccinated unlike my own doctors.

My daughter said as we were leaving the office that her visit with Dr. Carnazzola didn't feel like being at the doctor's office - a compliment in the best way possible.

I did not come in with any complaints; the doctor asked routine questions like 'Any pain?' and then coded it as a separate evaluation. When I questioned the charge, the office claimed that because we 'discussed specific issues,' they were required to bill extra. This is misleading and feels like a way to pad the bill. To make matters worse, they suggested there is a difference between an 'annual physical' and an 'annual wellness visit,' even though I am not on Medicare. That explanation was inaccurate and confusing. Patients deserve transparency and honesty. If answering a doctor's basic questions can turn a preventive exam into a billable problem visit, that needs to be clearly explained before the appointment--not after. My parents managed to successfully contact Dr. Kwak's office and make appointments for today. They were handed a stack of paperwork to fill out at the office after they had been there a while, which was confusing because they had filled out a "stack" online already. Buried somewhere in the stack today was an existing policy that if you don't give them a credit card upfront, you won't see the doctor. And since my parents are on Medicare and everything gets charged that way, my parents were uncomfortable doing so and ended up leaving without seeing the doctor, after being there for about half an hour (why they waited til my parents had already been sitting there for a while to hand over the paperwork in which this policy is buried, I have zero clue). I tried to look up the doc online to see if he has a website where I could see sample paperwork or a policy page myself but I have yet to find one (I acknowledge I might have missed it). So please be advised before making an appointment or visiting the office, IF YOU DO NOT PROVIDE A CREDIT CARD UPFRONT, YOU CANNOT SEE THE DOCTOR.
