I tried acupuncture (which helped some, but I still had headaches. I was referred to Dr. Pine by my dentist. I will admit I was hesitant to proceed at first with the Ortho Stop, mainly because of the price. Dr. Pine recommended PT along with the device, but I initially opted for just doing PT. I would get some relief from PT, but not at every session and I was going 2-3 times a week. I finally told my husband that I could not stand the headaches any longer and wanted to proceed with the Ortho Stop. It is a fairly intensive process with 2 different devices and many visits for adjustments, but honestly, it was the best decision! My headaches subsided fairly quickly. I have only had a few major ones since starting with the Ortho Stop and it has been about 2 1/2 years. Dr. Pine is a kind man, who is very knowledgeable. He wants the fit and comfort to be perfect for you and will have you come in as many times as needed. At each visit, he makes little adjustments. I wear my Ortho Stop nightly and highly recommend.

I'm not sure of the current price/cost. Arrive on-time/exact time- not minutes earlier or later than the exact appointment time. Dr. Pine was professional and explained details for what he would do and checking your teeth and symptoms. Before any device is made, he will send you to a physical therapist he recommends. The place he recommended me to was New Life Physical Therapy which is now permanently closed. PT didn't help me. I ended up not returning to Dr. Pine's office and never got any calls for follow-up. Check this place out if you're serious and plan on going through with his ortho devices which can be expensive if you're limited on funds. TMJ is not an easy thing to live with.

Among the injuries I sustained, the most significant were skull base fractures and fractures of my orbit, which led the emergency doctors to diagnose me with traumatic optic neuropathy. After consultations with maxillofacial specialists and ophthalmologists, I was told I was legally blind, 20/230, and that this was now my life. Devastated, I reached out to Dr. Lin who was highly referred by a longtime family friend. She felt he and his team should see me and offer other opinions. While Western medicine may refer to Dr. Lin as a "physical therapist," I don't think that language fully defines what he does. At our first meeting, he was gentle, attentive, and deeply aware of my condition. His method is difficult for me to fully articulate, but it was unlike anything the physicians I had seen before had provided. Dr. Lin created a treatment plan in collaboration with his in-house acupuncturist, Dr. Park, and the two of them treated me in concert. I visited them about once a month. Dr. Park performed acupuncture targeting specific hemispheres they agreed would be beneficial, while Dr. Lin used manual techniques, pressing, pulling, and adjusting different parts of my face and body. One moment stands out clearly in my memory. As Dr. Park had acupuncture needles placed in the points she selected, Dr. Lin pressed a section of my face under my eye with significant pressure. The instant he released, my nasal passage cleared dramatically. I had been so focused on my vision that I ignored other parts of my body that also needed attention. This is what impressed me most: their understanding of the interconnectedness of the human body, and the way each system affects the next. Even though I came in focused on a single issue, they recognized that other problems could be developing or stagnating and that treating one area would likely set off a domino effect. They addressed everything collectively rather than isolating one symptom. Dr. Park also gave me homework: changes to my diet, foods to avoid, preferred cooking methods, and even the temperature of liquids I should consume. Detailed instructions that had never been offered nor had I considered. Western medicine had only offered me chemical treatments or surgeries to remove or implant. Dr. Lin was one of the few who was relieved I had not had a surgery and was not taking medication. In my most desperate moment, when the reality of vision loss was fresh and overwhelming, they helped keep hope alive. I am happy to say that I have since improved to 20/40 vision. Slowly, every day I feel a little better. I am not claiming that Dr. Park and Dr. Lin performed miracles. What I do believe is that the treatment they provided stimulated something meaningful in my recovery. Maybe I would have healed to this extent without them, maybe not. But I wholeheartedly feel that their treatment encouraged my body to heal itself. I am four months removed from the incident, I have my vision back and I feel great. Recovery is not complete, but I am in a place now that my Ophthalmologist told me never to expect. Thank you to both Dr. Lin and Dr. Park. I could not be more grateful.

From the moment I walked into Honest Oral Surgeon, the staff made me feel at ease. They were professional, friendly, and very patient. After taking my X-rays, they carefully explained everything to me and answered all my questions. I also watched a pre-procedure instruction video, which helped me understand what to expect. When I met Dr. Kim, he was professional, clear, and straightforward. He explained my treatment options concisely and also pointed out potential risks related to my other teeth. After discussing everything together, we decided to take a conservative approach -- remove the wisdom teeth first and monitor the other teeth to see if they could recover over time. I really appreciated being involved in the decision-making process. The surgery itself was excellent. It was my first time receiving anesthesia and having teeth extracted, and I can honestly say I felt absolutely no discomfort. Dr. Kim removed both wisdom teeth efficiently and skillfully. (Yes, I could hear the drill and some hammering sounds -- which was a little funny -- but I felt zero pain.) After the procedure, I followed the instructions carefully, took the prescribed medication, and applied ice as recommended. It's now the second day, and I have no pain at all -- not even noticeable swelling. This is actually the longest Yelp review I've ever written, but I truly felt it was deserved. I highly recommend Honest Oral Surgeon and Dr. Kim to anyone who needs oral surgery.

The office is very clean and pleasant, Hannah, his assistant, was so accommodating that she even asked me for my music preference to play during the procedure. This was my second extraction by Dr. Kim. The first being three years ago. An infected lower molar was extracted quickly and the infected area was treated with no pain experienced, only a very little pressure was felt. The second extraction was two days ago. This time an upper molar broke off making the extraction more challenging. My sinus area was also involved and inflamed. Once again no pain was felt and both procedures were performed using local anesthesia. I was given the option of general anesthesia but declined it both times with no regrets. Recovery has been quick for both extractions with minimal bleeding the first half hour when changing the gauze. No pain medications have been needed for both procedures. I highly recommend Dr. Kim to all my friends and family. I was referred here both times by my regular dentist, Dr. Lawrence Wong, who only has the highest regard for Dr. Kim and his staff.

I've known my dentist, Dr. Sanjay Doshi, for nearly 30 years, as he was my mom's dentist for over…read more25 years and he's been my dentist for the past couple of years. In May of 2025, I received a diagnosis of a highly aggressive, highly metastatic head & neck cancer, of the tonsil, over nine lymph nodes and base of tongue. This type of oropharyngeal cancer threw me into a club that no one should ever be a part of. I was told that without immediate, intensive radiation and chemo (requiring extensive other treatment radiation dentistry), it was terminal. I was given weeks to months. The condition was serious. And time wasn't on my side. After being assessed by my oncology team, I was informed I required the highest level of radiation a patient could be given (70), all the way around my neck, and that I would potentially have dental decay, lose some or all of my teeth have jaw bone decay or even jaw death. My physicians and specialists, including Dr. Doshi, were surprised about my diagnosis. But Dr. Doshi was always confident, from the very start, that I'd get through this, though time was not on my side. He gave me hope from the very start that I would not only survive, but that I would come through this on the other side, and thrive. Thankfully, he was right. Dr. Doshi immediately took me under his dental care, for radiation dentistry, immediately contacted my radiation oncologist, coordinated with him, and began to prep me for radiation (radiation of this nature should never begin until all dental decay and pending dental issues have been addressed). This involved a great deal of work. I never felt overwhelmed about the dentistry, as Doshi took care to keep me safe while working at warp speed to expedite my dental care needs, so that I could quickly begin my treatments. In one month, Dr Doshi did a year's worth of dental work, and he instantly became the a key figure in my cancer care team. Or as I call them, my dream team. He handled my imaging, testing, exams, x-rays, 3 necessary root canals, he had necessary custom fitted, upper and lower radiation guards made (to protect my teeth and gums from radiation during radiation), and a custom fitted, upper and lower fluoride trays, for my daily care, post radiation and chemo. He worked with precision and speed, to ensure I went into my cancer treatments healthy and strong. I went into my treatments with no dental issues or oral infections. It was a brutal cancer treatment. Only someone who's been through this level and type of treatment can truly know how brutal, but I made it through. Thankfully, I am in remission. With a less than 5% chance of recurrence. Radiation to the neck and head can seriously compromise one's dental health, in the short term and long term, so radiation dentistry is necessary before and indefinitely after such an intensive cancer treatment. So I will continue to see Dr. Doshi, moving forward, for closer care - involving more frequent cleanings, more frequent dental exams, and laser gum therapy - to minimize the chances of greater dental damage down the line. He's gone above and beyond in ensuring my dental health is tended to so that my quality of life can be improved upon and hopefully maintained for the remainder of my years. And simultaneously, Thanks to Dr. Doshi, 7 months after cancer treatment ended, I've not lost a single tooth, while other patients reported loss of many or all teeth. I hope to spare my teeth for the long run.
