Came here on Sunday midday with my little sister for a study session. Such a cute spot with amazing views. Prices were pretty reasonable for the area and the quality they do offer free Wi-Fi and there is additional seating in a room connected to the coffee shop where you can enjoy your drink and have views of the ocean. Our drinks came out very quick and were made with care.

Excellent place to have a cup of coffee, sit, see the river traffic and watch the world go by. The smell of fresh brewed coffee lures you into this the hub for locals. It was the friendliest coffee shop we have ever been in. The two cafe mocha's were presented beautifully and tasted better!

The employees were less than pleasant and pretty snippy! This ruined my experience pretty quickly. My coffee was meant to be iced and instead of remaking it and apologizing she simply said "oh you didn't say iced" ... of course I did! But when she finally remade my coffee - the cinnamon dulce latte, it was great! The hot vanilla latte was also enjoyable! The location is stunning! Plenty of places to sit outside and inside and enjoy your coffee! They do make it clear that the bagels are Costco, they were good. but would be cool to have fresh house made foods too! I'd go back for the coffee!

This quaint, local coffee shop right on the water nearby downtown Astoria is the perfect spot to sit, read, study, or even catch up with a friend or two. The shop itself is conveniently located just a few minutes down the road from downtown Astoria making it the perfect stop for a quick drink before getting the day started, or to stop by and get in a bite in the middle of a day on the town. The menu has all the classic coffee drinks plus a few unique options to Sleeper. I got a hot mocha with the Jam Biscuit which both tasted delicious. The jam on top was marionberry and the pastry itself was dense yet flavorful. The baristas both on the clock were nice to me and were quick with my order. I sat right next to a window overlooking the ocean and had the chance to even see a few sea lions swim by. Overall, I would recommend this spot if you are looking for a local coffee shop to spend some time in.

Such a fun little hole-in-the-wall coffee shop! Right on the pier, it's super relaxing to sip, read, and relax! There are several delicious drink specials, and the baristas were very helpful! They have literally every type of milk too!

The order was for a cardamom cordato which was full of flavor. The staff were knowledgeable, welcoming and I would definitely go back. Sleeper gets a 5/5

This was a great place to stop for coffee during a morning stroll on the Riverwalk. Line was a bit long but moved quickly. Drinks were out speedily. And the view was serene and stunning!

Definitely service with a smile and a nice heart shaped swirl in my absolutely delicious peppermint mocha. Also their cranberry danish was super tasty. After exploring dozens of coffee shops in the PNW, Sleeper Coffee is my all time favorite!

Super friendly staff. Ambiance is quiet and relaxing. The views are beautiful; you can see the whole bay and pier from the bar. Alternative milk options available. The cinnamon dolce was delicious, as was the peppermint mocha. Really great coffee!!

What a cool coffee shop! Can't get any better with the view, right on the water, it's heavenly. Coffee is great and they have several alternative milks and real honey and maple syrup. Baristas are super nice, I actually had my Americano with hemp milk remade and they were so gracious about it with no hesitation, would be a hangout of mine if I lived in the area.

This is the kind of coffee shop I dream of. Tasty baked goods, good coffee, and the kind of vibes that make you want to stay and hang out. Service was kind and helpful. We will be back!

Great coffee and specialty drinks are offered in this "sleeper" location along the river. The staff is very friendly and courteous. The drinks and food are prepared well and taste yummy! The prices are reasonable and justified by the quality of the menu. Sleeper Coffee is located right next to the river walk and offers a beautiful view of the Columbia River from both of their seating areas. A great place to meet friends, catch up on your reading or just chill and enjoy your morning coffee.

Meh! Overpriced and less than mediocre coffee. What a bummer! In a town full to of coffee shops, we chose poorly. Cute vibes tho!

It is always on our radar when we go to Astoria. Sitting on one of the old piers with a few other shops and a small museum this place is so warm, friendly with great coffee drinks and food that is perfect. They even allowed 3 of us a couple years ago to stay and use their Internet to work. Of course we kept buying coffee and food, that is a must for taking up their customer space. The service and friendliness of this place is top notch from any coffee shop I have been too. I really would love to keep this place a secret, but I want them to be here when I return so if you are in town please go visit them and hang iut for a bit with some coffee and food.

Unfortunately, one of the cookies that was ordered, nothing was listed as having chocolate in it, and my wife has issues with chocolate. It is pretty well known that in the food service industry, chocolate and peanuts are one of those things that you should never mess with when it comes to people's intake. The lady I talked to on the phone a day later mentioned that it was vegan chocolate if it made a difference, and quite frankly, I can see where at some level that might make a difference for the dairy, but in the bigger picture, it doesn't make a bit of difference as it is chocolate that is an issue not the dairy. The bottom line is it should've had a label on the shelf tag and it did not. In our opinion, it should even have a listing of the type of chocolate (dark, lite, etc ). As that could have been a hospitalizations worse. Then, at the end of the conversation, the person I talking to was dismissive and just wanted to move on -- clearly not somebody that should be answering the phones if she's not gonna fully listen (even though she said she did) to the very valid concern. She said that there's a recipe book that we could've asked about if we had any concerns. The concern was that there was no listing on the label of the cookie that was on the shelf. Something as simple as "contains chocolate" could have averted this whole situation.

Both sites had collaborated or specifically featured their roasted coffee beans. Their parking lot is located beneath the Astoria Bridge and across the street from the Finnish Brotherhood Building. I noted from the exterior this was the former Finnish Meat Market. Strong Scandinavian vibes while visiting Astoria. Upon entering we were warmly greeted by a very personable staff member. We enjoyed chatting with her. The site combined both retail and production roastery with a great bright interior facing the busy thoroughfare. There's merch available, including coffee beans. (Face palm, I forgot to buy some and get a business sticker!) Note: there are no espresso beverages available. However, featured instead are drip, nitro cold brew, and sparkling lemonade. Plus there are outstanding Thundermuck chocolate truffles. The nitro cold brew topped with cream was smooth and on point. The strawberry lemonade was refreshing. The truffles were quite remarkable. Overall, a terrific experience and glad to have located this Columbia River Coffee Roaster site. Business hours are 9am-2pm Monday to Saturday, closed Sunday.
