Saleem was customer centered and tried to work based on our needs and peculiarities. Although we consider ourselves as demanding and well-informed consumers, the mattress we selected did not worked for us, it was too firm. Saleem was very understanding of our desperate situation and arranged for the exchange/replacement immediately. We are graceful to Saleem's customer service and effectiveness to meet our demands in our quest for a new mattress. Happy dreams ahead!

The Dozy was located on the 2nd floor in a busy area but it was super easy to find. I was greeted by a young man who was working behind a computer but he said hi and asked for my to give a minute while he finished up what he was doing. I decided to try out the beds and really liked the Forest Hill style which has 1100 coils, foam and gel. After the gentleman finished what he was doing he came over and spoke a bit about the product and answered my questions. Short and sweet, how I liked it. I've heard positive things on this mattress and love that they are Canadian and had a little showroom so you can check them out! I'll update my review if I decide to purchase and it is very likely I will

Wow. I ordered this mattress Wednesday night and it was delivered Friday evening…read more I've ordered other mattresses online before and was very happy, but didn't want to spend the same on my spare bedroom. I saw the sign for a $299 queen sized walking down the street and it caught my attention. No way could they do that. I checked out the site and some reviews and orders the level up from their base model. It came in around $500 delivered! They do make a third level that people rave about, but I didn't think it was necessary for my guests who typically only stay a night or 2, totaling 10-15 nights a year. Delivery was fast and efficient. Their delivery guys were friendly and clean. If you need a mattress for your own room, get the top of the line. (Still cheaper than most other brands). Spare bedroom, second tier. Cottage, dorm room or first place on your own, get the entry level! You can't go wrong for the price. Especially delivered!!!! Keep up the good work dozy!

The delivery team did a great job, super polite and helpful. Highly recommended!!!

My spouse and I gave it a try after coming across recommendations on various forums, then confirming on the manufacturers' websites that they are an authorized dealer for the brands they sell. This is not the kind of mattress store that has locations in every neighbourhood or advertises on every TV show. Besides the store being out of our way, it's sparsely decorated with narrow aisles (which was actually a bit of a challenge with our toddler's stroller). Any mattress that's available to try is wrapped in plastic. If you need help, you may need to wait for a salesperson to be available. And while delivery to your front door is free, room delivery and/or haul-away are extra charges. Some people may not be happy with that style of service, which I understand entirely! But there are lots of options to try, prices are very good without having to wait for a "sale", and the salespeople are knowledgeable and don't work on commission. There's also no need to haggle - though extra coupons are often available through their email list. So why we cancelled? The exact same type of Sealy mattress we ordered went on sale for about a hundred dollars less the next day through a certain membership warehouse. National Mattress said they would honour their price match policy even though it was a different model name, which we appreciated, but could not match some of the other benefits of buying through the warehouse. Getting a refund required a return trip to the store but was otherwise hassle-free. Still, we are very happy to recommend National Mattress to anyone looking for a mattress in a lower-pressure environment where you don't have to negotiate for hours to get a good value.

Extremely disappointing experience with National Mattress…read more I purchased a NEW Sealy Posturepedic mattress from National Mattress and paid more than $400 for delivery. When Day & Ross attempted delivery, the shipment was in poor condition. More importantly, the mattress itself was visibly soiled and damaged, including the pillow-top fabric. I took photographs documenting the condition. I refused delivery because I had ordered a new mattress and was not prepared to accept one in that condition. The mattress was taken back by Day & Ross and was never accepted or used by me. I immediately contacted National Mattress customer support, provided photographs, and requested a full refund, including the $400+ delivery charge. I initially received no meaningful response despite following up. After I posted a Google review, the owner of National Mattress responded publicly, acknowledging that the condition of the mattress did not meet their standards and stating that someone would contact me regarding my refund. A National Mattress store representative subsequently called me. I again explained that I had refused delivery and had photographs documenting the condition. The representative told me that he was unaware of what was happening with customer support and was not aware of my previous correspondence or photographs. I was then told that National Mattress would not process my refund until Day & Ross returned the mattress to National Mattress. I find the handling of this situation appalling. I purchased and paid for a NEW mattress, refused delivery because it arrived visibly soiled and damaged, and never accepted or used it. I understand that National Mattress may want to investigate the shipment with Day & Ross, but that is an issue between National Mattress and its delivery partner. It should not require me to wait for their carrier investigation before receiving my refund. I am seeking a full refund of everything I paid, including the $400+ delivery charge. I have initiated a credit-card dispute and filed a complaint with Consumer Protection Ontario. I will update this review if and when the matter is finally resolved.

For $70, the quality and firmness is very good. The mattress is even flip-able, a feature that is not common nowadays, and can extend the useful life of the mattress. The second reason for the 5 stars rating is the selection. There are 3 models of twin mattress in the showroom. All of them are within my budget of $200. The nicest one costs $200, and it looks like something that would cost more somewhere else. I went to another mattress stores before I came to Springmade. There was only one mattress on sale under $200. One note to people interested in buying a mattress at Springmade: all the prices are HST inclusive, and you can pay by major credit cards. Joe is the owner. If you want to, you can negotiate the price with him directly. I didn't bother to negotiate cause $70 was cheap enough. Thank you, Yelp, for leading me to Springmade.

After searching around for a new mattress because I was moving into a new condo, I came across a…read moreplace called Simply Elegant. A great sales guy, Robert, came and assisted me in finding the mattress most suitable for me. So I went ahead and put down about $850 for a brand new queen sized mattress. Nothing special but getting this thing shipped into my condo has been a total headache. My condo requires you to book the elevator in advanced and is only available from 9am-6pm, essentially working hours. So my only option is to ship on Saturdays. The problem is, EVERYONE else in the condo moves on Saturdays because of this same issue. The result is the Saturdays are always fully booked. It has been so much back and forth trying to arrange the perfect shipping time when I am available, the shipping guys are available, and when the elevator is free. This hasn't been an easy task and throughout this entire process, Robert from Simply Elegant has worked this through with me to get this mattress into my condo unit as soon as possible. He has flexed his shipping times in this part of the city to accomodate my available time on Saturday but that still wasn't enough since the elevators are always booked solid on Saturdays. Today, Robert got me to put him on the phone with the condo staff and he pretty much gave them an ear-full about getting this mattress into my unit. Lo-and-behold, it worked. I'm not the type to be so aggressive and I felt pretty lame having to get someone else to fight this battle for me but I can't express how grateful I am for him and his company to go the extra mile to get me sleeping on the mattress I bought. Albeit mattresses are expensive but well some places could care less once they've received payment. But Simply Elegant will have a customer for a lifetime because of the effort made to provide amazing customer service.
