I purchased…read morean extremely expensive pillow from Sleep Country after being assured by the salesperson that it was "top of the line" and would help resolve my ongoing neck issues. I was even given a five-year guarantee -- which I later discovered only applies if the pillow physically falls apart. In other words, unless the pillow disintegrates in your hands, you're out of luck. What they never disclosed during the sale -- and what I only found out after trying to return it -- is that ALL SALES ARE FINAL the moment you walk out of the store. I was stunned when I tried to return it and was told, verbatim: "The minute the customer walks out the door, they own it fully. We do not accept any returns." They attempted to justify this by claiming "Ministry of Health Guidelines" prohibit them from accepting returns -- a total fabrication. There are no posted warnings, no official Ministry labels, and no disclosure at the point of sale. Just a blanket "not our problem" attitude once they have your money. This is a classic bait-and-switch. You're sold a dream with misleading promises, only to discover their fine print protects them, not you. There is zero accountability, zero customer service, and zero transparency. BUYER BEWARE: If you're shopping at Sleep Country, don't believe a word their salespeople say unless it's in writing. And if you value your money, take it somewhere else -- this place is nothing short of a Scam

I received good and knowledgeable responses and advice, and elected to make the order through the store rather than online. It was an easy process. (I ultimately picked up the mattress instead of opting for free delivery since delivery was booking out farther than we would have liked.) The actual mattress we chose - The Bloom Cloud - is super comfy and we are pleased with the quality. The mattress comes compressed in the box and you can easily set it up on your own. It is also feels really light once open, which makes moving it around and making the bed easy. I would shop here again and would recommend this store.

All mattresses have Toronto neighbourhood or street names. They are manufactured in Toronto and can be customized. Free delivery is included. The Summerhill mattress is their best seller. The Spadina mattress is a very hard mattress with a soft top. When they started on Spadina Ave, it was their hardest time, so they named the mattress after it. Dave is the owner and operator of the store. He is extremely knowledgeable about mattresses. Dozy was first opened in 2017-04-21 on Spadina Ave. In Feb 2023, the business moved to its current location on Queen St W. There is free WiFi. I was provided with a service appointment date of June 3, with an expected arrival window between…read more8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. for a Taskrabbit assembler named Abby to complete the assembly of my IKEA furniture. When Abby did not arrive within the scheduled timeframe, I contacted him directly and was given information that conflicted with the appointment details I had received. I then contacted IKEA, through whom the assembly service had been arranged. After navigating multiple automated prompts and speaking with customer service representatives, the assembly was rescheduled for the same day at 3:00 p.m. Unfortunately, 3:00 p.m. came and went without Abby arriving. At approximately 3:30 p.m., attempts to contact him were unsuccessful, as he did not answer his phone. Despite spending the better part of an entire day communicating with IKEA's chatbot, AI support systems, several customer service representatives, Taskrabbit, and the assigned assembler, the task that had been paid for was never completed. While the IKEA customer service representatives I spoke with were courteous and genuinely tried to assist, neither IKEA, Taskrabbit, nor the assigned Tasker were ultimately able to resolve the issue or fulfill the service commitment. To date, I have never received a follow-up explanation from Abby regarding the missed appointment. As a result of this experience, I cannot recommend either IKEA's assembly service or Taskrabbit unless customers are confident they can assemble the furniture themselves or have an alternative arrangement in place. When problems arise, there appears to be a lack of accountability and communication, leaving customers without answers and wasting valuable time.

These two big strong guys just looked me and shrugged. I've had other trades and delivery people at my house since the virus. They just took measures - masks, gloves, etc. - and got on with it. I'm going to have to hire someone to come in to move it now because it's just sitting in my living room. It is too big for me to move it myself. Disgusting behaviour from these people.
