Earlier I wrote a 1 star review (that I've left below) but I went to the College st store in Toronto. They've been so helpful and such a pleasure to deal with. They've managed to get me most of my order. And they helped with delivery and well pretty much anything I needed. I will definitely go back. I purchased a dining table from Structube. Within less than 6 months the leg had started to crack all the way through. I asked for a refund or replacement as the table was practically new and the response given was " Acacia is a natural hardwood, and variations such as cracks, splits, or checking can occur over time due to changes in temperature and humidity within the home environment. As wood naturally expands and contracts, these changes may result in cracks forming along the grain, even within the first months of ownership". I bought a sectional sofa from Structube, and the chaise constantly slides and won't stay in place. This is a functional problem, not "buyer remorse." After two weeks of back-and-forth, customer service refused to call it defective and instead labeled it buyer remorse, requiring me to return it in the original packaging. The packaging was taped plastic that had to be torn open to use the sofa--making this requirement unrealistic. A chaise that doesn't stay put is a defect. Very disappointing quality and support. I would think twice before buying furniture from Structube. One star is too much. read more

We have purchased several pieces of furniture from Structure, and overall, we have been satisfied. However, last year we bought four Lugo Chairs, and unfortunately, they have been the worst chairs we have ever owned. Since we received them, all of the screws have come out from the top many times because the compressed wood material is of poor quality and does not hold the screws in place. We have tried repeatedly to repair them, but there is nothing we can do to improve these chairs. I don't think it's fair that I paid over $500 for chairs that have required multiple repairs in the first year of use, or even more so, to have to replace my dining room chairs after just a year and a half. ( keep in mind that we only dine on the table, kids eat at school and we eat mostly at work, so is not even a heavy use) read more

I bought a dining room table and four chairs from Structure. After using the chairs for nearly a year, one of the chairs actually collapsed while my son was sitting on it. It appears that the wood was damaged and had split. As a disabled person with spinal stenosis I felt I couldn't trust the stability of the chairs and therefore requested a full refund for all 4 chairs. I also requested they send someone to pick up the chairs. We went to the store at Train Yards in Ottawa showing them the defective chair and the receipt for all 4 chairs. I was told that because I had purchased them online we would have to submit our request to their supplier with supporting documentation (photos, receipt etc, photo of my son's injury etc.). After having done all that and various emails back and forth all they offered me was a refund for the defective chair and refused to come and get the chairs. I recently bought a carpet from Structube, and I would give it 0 points if I could. The carpet arrived dirty, with mud all over it, and the threads were completely broken. I sent a picture and video to show the damage and requested a return. Customer service was horrible. It took almost 3 weeks of constant follow-ups to get any response, and no one ever called me back. At the end, they did not take responsibility and told me the carpet was used. I didn't accept it because it was dirty and damaged, yet they asked me to pay for the return shipping. You can find stylish furniture with a reasonable price here. But the real issue is most of them are always on backorder; sometime until 4-5 months later. And they always get pushed back. I bought this mirror for my new apartment. I hadn't even had it for 9 months before each corner where the mirror bevel meets the flat portion started to crack. The edges of the glass at the bevels aren't finished. It has now cracked in 3 of four corners and continues to get worse. There has been ZERO impact to this mirror. Structube tells me the warranty doesn't cover the issue, but it's terrible. I'm going to have to replace this mirror already. Extremely disappointed with the quality. read more

Selections are good but always out of stock. Service is non existent in stores. The value of the product is presentable but without the discount it's not worth the price. Ordered 6 chairs online and it was in stock. Delivery date was settled but canceled the day of with an email saying it was out of stock and they couldn't even give me an exact day of the delivery. Terrible customer service and no communication Today I received a call stating that my sofa is not back in stock and may not be delivered until after Christmas. This is 100% UNACCEPTABLE. I ordered directly through their Granville office as they said that the delivery would be much quicker than online. I have sold my own sofa to prepare for this delivery and have family coming for Christmas and there is NOWHERE for them to sit. They expect my 72 year old aunt to sit on the floor?? This is crazy. ABBISMAL *** CUSTOMER ** SERVICE Order a bed. Delivery slot to be issued 24hrs prior. No sign. They arrive and I missed it as I was at the shop. Went through 8 customer service reps, all absolutely useless and uncaring at the fact I was sleeping on the floor. Cancel order and reorder same bed as it was going to take 3 business days to raise this issue to management who are totally vacant. Had to follow up multiple times to ensure I knew the delivery timeframe for the 2nd bed (even though they said they would inform me 24hrs prior to delivery day-don't listen to them when they say they inform you 24hrs beforehand as this is BS). Bed arrives. Massive crack on the headboard-I was in a state of shock after the initial debacle and delay in receipt of my bed. Rang customer service-zero empathy. Went through more reps to try arrange for the bed to arrive sooner as day 15 I am still on the floor. It took another 6 days for the new bed to come. Bed arrives and exchanged for a functioning bed. I ordered the Sacha oval table online, shipping was ok, came in a reasonable amount of time. When I opened the supposedly new table I noticed a large crack across the bottom which had been lazily plastered over. The tabletop was laminate and had many large air bubbles in the overlay. Clearly this was poorly built, previously broken, and returned. I called and arranged a return. They picked up the table 2 weeks later. Now it has been 2 weeks since they picked it up, and still no refund. Bought the Coltrane coffee table, which has three round tops. One top was stained a different colour than the other two. After I filled out their form, and sent a photo of the patent defect, they offered to refund me $40 and said that this was "not negotiable". The table is not useable as is. Sleazy business practice, offering me a 16% refund on a defect that is 100% their fault. Also, it appears they only allow you to submit 5-star reviews on their site; anything less they won't post. So update.... Customer service has been amazing. Unfortunately the bed is out of stock until July but they will fix everything as soon as they have the parts back in stock. Not a great update but I am very happy with how hard they tried to find us a solution. Specifically Stephanie from the Oshawa store who went out of her way when she didn't have to to find us a solution. I was able to put the bed together with a little ingenuity until the rest of the parts arrive. Still not happy that i spent a lot of money for quality that was not delivered but the interaction with Structube staff was great. read more

What a terrible company, and the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. We had inquired about a couch that we were very interested in purchasing, but due to so many TERRIBLE reviews with preordering, we decided to wait until the couch was in stock prior to purchasing. Well within a few weeks the price of the couch increased over $600, while it was still out of stock? I have sent several emails asking if they would honor the price that the couch originally as we were waiting for it to be available again and it is like they do not even read your emails? You get responses that do not answer your questions or offer any suggestions on what other options there may be. They are not interested in happy customers or trying to assist in any way at all. Stay as far away from this company as you can. I've ordered once from here before - a coffee table back in February, right before lockdown hit. The table was ready for pickup at the Vancouver Gastown location three weeks later, and that experience went okay. However, we are now experiencing something else. I honestly thought at first that this has all been due to COVID-19 delays, but after reading several other reviews on Yelp and Trustpilot, there's obviously a pattern of shittiness with this company. Firstly, my boyfriend ordered a chair on JUNE 13TH, 2020 (it's now September 11th, 2020). He ordered this chair thinking it would be back in stock and ready to be received on or around August 28th, like the website stated. That day came and went, so my boyfriend called them up on September 1st, and was advised over the phone that the website says September 15th now, but on the representative's side, it says November 2020 now. The guy over the phone literally said "it could be on the 15th, or could be in November, we're not sure, you'll just have to wait and see." Firstly - why post an 'estimated' back in stock date? I'm curious to know what kind of company is happy to take your money but then beat around the bush about delivery dates that continue to push and push? Prior to this September 1st phone call, we proceeded to order a bed frame on August 9th, and we ordered this specific one (DINA King size bed) because all other bed frames were 'out of stock' on the website. Funnily enough, the DINA was also out of stock but it said August 18th was the 'estimated' back in stock date, so it seemed safe for us to order this. Um, yeah, we're now being told that this bed frame won't be back in stock until September 15th. Which is probably bullshit. I'm actually laughing as I type this. My boyfriend and I moved into our new apartment on July 14th and we're still without a bed frame and sleeping on the floor. Today I asked for a refund using their online form. Some stats for you - of the 13 pieces of furniture we ordered: 2 - were back ordered and manually cancelled by the company (lol) 3 - came extremely damaged (like nails falling out bad) 1 - was "lost in transit" For 11 items - there were 5 deliveries over the course of a MONTH - 2 of which missed their original window. Structube forgot to add 2 of my products to my order which delayed it even more, even though the items were in stock AND after i kept confirming with them. No one from the online store was helpful. Ordered the Horizon sectional on Aug 3 with an estimated in stock of Oct 8. Disappointed to have to wait 2 months as we had just moved and had nothing to sit on in our den, however we understood about Covid delays, no problem. Stopped into our local store the last week of September to check on the order and the salesperson told me she could see my sofa heading to the warehouse and to expect a call in 1 to 2 weeks. Well 2 weeks came and went with no call. So I called them only to be told that it would be yet another 2-3 weeks! 3 weeks go by again, still no call. This is one of the most spacious Structube's showroom in the area. Location is really convenient if you are taking public transit as it is right on the subway line. But if you are driving, there are meter parking available. For bigger purchase, the loading dock is right at the back of the store. The staff here is nice and cheerful. ordered a desk from Structube and when it arrived there were enormous cracks running down the face of the desk surface. I requested a refund which was approved but I was told I needed to wait for another call to schedule a pick up of the desk. I did this and when the day came, the pick up driver was sent to the wrong address by Structube. I called Structube immediately at 930 am, lots of time for them to still figure out how to pick up the desk on the day they provided. They were unable to pick it up and it's been another two days still waiting for them to call to schedule yet another pick up. The answer is YES, they stopped our order without notifying us! The only option that they gave us was canceling the order. And i had to pay twice for delivery and they couldnt even do anything about it! And 4 Months later, my dog destroy the back cushion because it was poorly made, and i tried to contact them to buy another piece of the back cushion, and their respond was " unfortunately we dont sell the back cushion separately and there was nothing for us to do about it". By phone they advise that your credit card would be charged ONLY when order is shipped, but in reality IT IS CHARGED immediately for the item than is estimated (not guaranteed) to become available in 2021!!! Terrible customer service representative. Misleading info on the web stating to call their stores for info due to a high volume of calls. Terrible company. The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. You will wait 3-6 months for furniture while being fully charged. Their team doesn't even read the emails you send. I was waiting almost 4 months for HANEDA media unit with the date continually pushed back, pushed back, pushed back. I saw it came back in stock, but had not gotten any messages that mine would be fulfilled or sent. I wrote in to see whats happening, they sent me a response that didn't even make sense. Now the item is out of stock again for another 1.5 months, and I was never shipped my item I had been waiting months for. Also, They delivered an item damaged. For THREE WEEKS I was trying to have them pick it up to get my refund. in THREE WEEKS they did not pickup the item. I notified them by phone (good luck getting through) and email at least 15 times, I was only in town for three weeks, which was more than enough time. First review I've ever written but I think it is important that people hear this. My roommate and I ordered two dressers and a tv stand off the Structube website about a month ago. To our pleasure we received an email about 2 weeks earlier than expected saying our order was ready to be shipped. We responded to the email with our contact information, and the next morning a structube representative CALLED me to setup a date to have the items shipped. He said the transporter would call me the day before to confirm a time window in which my order would be delivered, and I never received this call. The day my items were supposed to ship came and I didn't know the time frame but I was home all day so I waited. At about 2 pm I started to suspect that my items weren't coming so I called customer support and found out that the operator who set up my shipment mis-typed my phone number. The phone number was correct except for one digit that he missed in the area code. It was a simple fix and no big deal. My order didn't come which was okay, but when I contacted Structube to schedule a new order they told me that I would have to pay an extra $101 because I failed to provide a working phone number....... I provided a wrong phone number..... after they CALLED ME to set up a delivery date. I have written an email to customer support with screenshots to prove the mistake is on their end and I have gotten no response, and we have called the customer service line multiple times. The response is the same everytime: my two options are to cancel the order or to pay the fee since I provided the wrong number. When I ask to speak to a manager or supervisor they say No, and once my roommate called and the operator just hung up on him. Like many others on here, retrospectively I realize I should have read the customer reviews beforehand, but the lure of modern looking furniture at a reasonable price drew me in. Our Monroe sectional couch arrived by delivery on saturday morning. After unwrapping 3 layers of cardboard, styrofoan and plastic we realized it was very broken (Frame inside the couch cracked in half/holes in the couch/exess fabric peices everywhere). We called Structube ASAP to exchange the couch. They instructed me to do an online report and they would get back to me. Tuesday morning i finaly get the ok email to call them to arrange a time for exchange. Structube would not offer any compensations, discounts or giftgards. AND they would only pick up the couch if it was wrapped. How do you wrap an extra large couch? The couch arrived broken why should i be responsible to wrap their broken product.. Defective product and horrible customer service! Defective parts shipped to my home after paying $90 of shipment fee. Couldn't finish the assembly of king bed as one of the metal part that the screw needs to go in is made too small ( has two holes and one is fine). Now I'm sleeping on the couch because of your horrible product and services! When I called the customer service, they asked me to fill out the standard form to request an exchange. Right, structube made a mistake, and customer pays for it. Not happy at all! Updates: I asked for the replacement and they shipped me the wrong parts! Seriously? It's because they originally shipped me with the older version of instruction and they ignored me telling them that there are two versions of instruction going around. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND LOGISTICS TEAM. I ordered my dining table and chairs when it said that they would be on stock in 2 months. I have now been waiting for 6 months and I was just told the table was in stock but the chairs would take 2 more months. I told them to send me the table in the meanwhile then, but they said I would have to pay the extra shipping fee to have them delivered separately. I refuse to spend more money with them as they have not been helpful at all, and any other company would be more accommodating and at least cover for the shipping fee since it is their fault they practice false advertisement. They say 3 days, but really it's 10+. The site doesn't allow you to see which store has it in stock. Even Canadian Tire has better online shopping! Customer service was helpful when I called to see why my order had not shipped. It's now been 6 days. THIS is why Amazon and Wayfair are taking over. I came in with my husband looking for a sofa and bar table. There was 6 people working aka socializing without offering us any assistance. After deciding we wanted a table, one staff member went to look up availability only to leave us hanging and walked away until 5 minutes later when I asked him if it was available he said he'd check as he had forgotten. In the end we left frustrated and purchased nothing as the staff made ya feel we were interrupting their social time as the only customers in the store. In January I ordered the Kanji chair in teak to go along with the same chair, in the same colour I purchased in the summer. Structube delivered the chair to me in the walnut finish. I called and setup a return. Structube is forcing me to pay for the return to the tune of $78. The several customer service reps I have interacted with insist they sent me the teak finish. The box does have the order sku number for teak, but the chair in the box is walnut. Anyway, I have no choice to pay for the return so that I can recoup the rest of the money. I placed my order Sep 23 and paid $3.5k in full. The estimated date of delivery was Nov 30. I reached out to Structube November 23 to make sure everything is as scheduled but learned that the date was unilaterally changed for Dec 26-27. They did not bother even sending me an automated notice. Because of that I instructed to cancel my order. Today is Dec 10. I am still waiting for the refund. On the bright side, I was able to listen to lots of music waiting on their customer support line. Music is great for your mental health, people! The other reviewers from 2021 are not wrong. I was a pretty satisfied Structube shopper prior to this year - the product is cute and inexpensive. This year though the customer service has nose dived, it is not even worth attempting to order something from here because the shipping delays are so bad and they are not concerned with keeping your order. I had a small order placed in Sept that was meant to arrive in November. I'm aware there is a major shipping crisis currently so I knew I would be waiting. What I didn't know was that my order had been pushed to February without anyone alerting me until I contacted customer service to ask myself. No apology, no explanation, just a robot telling me the new date. I ended up cancelling because I couldn't trust them to ever deliver my product. They actually called me and said I could cancel (what kind of company doesn't want business?!) which tells me they have no faith in the product arriving any time soon. The estimated date changes every day online and I don't believe that it is a real estimation. Serious lack of transparency on so many levels. read more

Structube has just taken its place at the top of my list of worst consumer experiences I've ever had. On November 24, I ordered a TV stand from Structube. The Axel TV unit. I got an email confirmation, which asked that I call to schedule a delivery (for which I'd paid $90). After trying a couple times and being on hold for about half an hour, I was able to do so, but I needed to schedule a day to be home to receive the order. After waiting several days, the delivery came. I opened the box, which was packed with styrofoam, that soft white spongy wrap you see everywhere, lots of cardboard and a large, thin piece of wood. It was a pain in the ass to unpack and generated a pile of waste. I followed the instructions, which were super unclear. There's almost no differentiation on the diagrams of a couple pieces. Eventually, I was able to get it halfway put together. I reached the point where I had to place the top rectangle of the iron frame on the rest of it. This would hold the glass top. I lined it up -- no easy task, since the metal was a bit warped -- and got to work screwing it it. No deal, though. I tried and tried and eventually realized there were no threads in two of the screw holes on the frame. They hadn't been machined in. I realized there was no way to force it in. So I called Structube. I'm frustrated at this point, because it's taken me a while to put it together and the instructions are bad. I go back and forth with them. I want something done. So when the first person I speak to says I have to send pictures to an email link and someone will get back to me, I get more frustrated. When is this person going to call me back? Is it you? Can I speak to your supervisor? No, sir, I'm sorry. That's not possible. What do you mean, not possible? I mean there is no one for me to talk to. This is when I realize this is a call centre somewhere and I'm just being pushed through the system. I don't want to deal with this. I'd rather just return the piece. So I say that. They say fine, fine, you can return it. There's a form you have to fill in online to make that happen, of course. Oh, and by the way, since you ordered a lamp with the TV unit, if you don't return the lamp, too, we'll have to charge you the full $90 shipping fee. But the lamp works fine, and that's not what the expensive shipping was for. Company policy, I'm told. So I give in, or resign myself to the fact that I'm just going to have to go through the motions and wait for a replacement part for the unit. The call centre rep tells me it could take up to two business days for delivery. They'll send it by FedEx. I say fine. Before we finish they confirm which part it is. I tell them: part F on your crappy instructions. The top of the unit. After hanging up, I realize that they're not going to take back the giant metal frame that's now just garbage I have to throw out. Fast forward to yesterday. That's December 13. Long past two business days. Again, I have to plan to be home to receive the replacement part. It comes. I open the box... and it's the bottom of the table. Labeled "F", no less, when the instructions indicate (not well, but clearly enough) that the bottom is, in fact, part G. So now you've sent me A) a piece with a flaw. And B) ANOTHER piece of big metal garbage I'm going to have to throw away, one of which I already have. You're literally just pumping out garbage to put into the municipal system. I paid $450 for this unit. And $90 for delivery. Now, the best you can do is tell me to send pictures again, and you'll have someone look into it. To be fair to my call centre guy today, Wahab, he's trying for me. He wants to help. But when I ask him to speak to a manager, he tells me the same thing: there's no one. It's not possible. You can't. So you've got this company that behaves like something out of Kafka. They cannot process an order properly. Their customer service is all outsourced to a call centre in India somewhere, and the people taking the calls can only send you in one direction. There is no recourse to actually have a human conversation. It's all rehearsed, all according to the script. Your labeling system is broken; you can't even sort your own parts and ship them. Everything is disconnected. You're mailing mass amounts of wasteful packaging out, and making garbage of your products, too. You're barely a business at all, so much as a kind of nightmare someone had after snorting cocaine laced with plastic polymers. I have no idea if I'm ever going to get my part. Even when I do, at this point, every time I look at that piece of furniture, I'm going to remember how crappy it was to buy it, what a farce your customer service is, how you're an example of the kind of blasé, profit-based consumer capitalism that is ruining the earth. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! If I can rate my experience as 0 stars, I will. I ordered some furniture from Structube last December, and I still haven't received my order yet, which is over $1200. I understand it's a hard time for everyone, and it takes longer than usual to deliver large items like furniture. However, I didn't get any contacts from the company and can't reach them as well. I don't know whether I'll receive my order or not. If any of the Strutube employees see this review, could you let me know how to cancel the order? read more
