Two years ago we bought a couch for our living room from here. About a year and a half of owning it the springs came loose and started to puncture through the cushions. We took it out to Johnny's and they assured us they could order new cushions since they were under warranty and they would not charge us. The gentlemen working there also told us they would also be able to put them in for us. He told us it would take up to two-three weeks to get them in (which I thought seemed a bit long). So we called in two and a half weeks later to see if the cushions were there and they weren't because they "forgot to order them". They got shipped over night to the store and my wife and I went in the next day. The owner was not there and I told them we were here to have our cushions replaced. A lady brought them out and said there was no one there to do it at that time, even though they were to have someone there that day to replace them for us. So we left them there..over the weekend, with no couch to sit on. We actually know the lady who does their repairs, so we called her. She wasn't even aware of the situation and had no clue that she was to repair cushions for us. Johnny's did not inform her of this. But she went in to pick it up to fix them since Johnny's was clueless. Thank god we knew her directly. Who knows how long it would have taken otherwise. We called Johnny's to inform them of this situation and that we were very displeased. We ended up talking to the owner's wife and she informed us that we would have to pay a $30 fee to have the cushions put in even though our couch was under warranty and we were told directly that we would not be charged. We told her we would not pay so she put us on hold to ask Johnny. She said the owner, Johnny, refused to pay the $30 to have the cushions put in. We had already spent the weekend without a couch and we don't have anything else to sit on so we decided to take matters into our own hands and pay the lady who does repairs for Johnny directly, without going through the company. More than half of the things this store told us they would do didn't happen or the people working had no clue what we were talking about after multiple trips in the store. So we had to pay for Johnny's mistake and stupidity. Stay away from Johnny's. Unprofessional and overall terrible service. I will make sure to tell everyone I know to stay away from this place. Go somewhere where the owner actually cares about his customers and the quality of his product.

It turned out the problem was not Johnny's but the salesman. "Dan" had failed to keep Johnny's in the loop about my problem and when I stopped in to gather information for legal action, Sandy "took the bull by the horns" and started to work correcting the problem. Dan is no longer there and Johnny has made things right with me. He replaced the recliner with no hassle, after I provided the information again. My marks are now high and I would do business there again.

The saleswoman…read morerecommended we get the accident insurance, for an additional $149.00 and it would take care of any accidental damage, chips, scratches, etc. We noticed two chairs with several scratches and one chair where a piece chipped off the cross rail between the legs. I contacted the saleswoman at Furniture Row and was given a phone number to the insurance company. After submitting claims for the 3 chairs and waiting for them to contact us for 4 days, they just sent me a message saying they would not cover the damage. Their explanation, "As is stated in the protection plan: What This Plan Does Not Cover: * Surface Scratches or issues with the finish that do not affect the function" We never received a copy of the protection plan, which is our fault. But the saleswoman pushed this policy to us and we buckled. I will NEVER buy another piece of furniture from this company as long as I live.

This past Saturday (Nov 1) I bought a pair of lamps. When I got home, the lampshades were of noticeable differences in color. This was made more obvious by the addition of the light bulb, of course. The lamps were also too large for the tables I have, so I wanted to just return them. I was unaware that they were non-returnable (per my receipt which was still in the envelope). I understand having a policy like that to avoid people "sampling" items to see if they match or not. However, I experienced what is perhaps the worst mistreatment I have ever encountered at a store. The man who said he was the manager, Sam, was abusive, rude, dismissive and condescending. At first, he was going to charge a restocking fee of 20%, but when I returned from my car with the second lamp, he decided he was sticking to the policy of not returning them since it was clearly stated on my receipt. When I explained the situation about the difference in colors, his comment was "the lamps are the same color as they were yesterday when you bought them". At this point, I just felt dismissed and my voice was not being heard. I put the lampshades on the table and asked him to take a look. (At this point, he hadn't even looked at them). By now I was angry, not because I couldn't return the lamps, but because I was being treated so poorly. He said I slammed them so hard that I needed to "get out of his store". I asked if I could at least get the matching shade and he said no, that I needed to leave his store. I am still upset today because of how I was treated. I've been a good customer at that store, but after this awful treatment, I won't ever be going back.
