My wife and I purchased a new dining table and six chairs in September, 2019. The saleswoman recommended we get the accident insurance, for an additional $149.00 and it would take care of any accidental damage, chips, scratches, etc. We noticed two chairs with several scratches and one chair where a piece chipped off the cross rail between the legs. I contacted the saleswoman at Furniture Row and was given a phone number to the insurance company. After submitting claims for the 3 chairs and waiting for them to contact us for 4 days, they just sent me a message saying they would not cover the damage. Their explanation, "As is stated in the protection plan: What This Plan Does Not Cover: * Surface Scratches or issues with the finish that do not affect the function" We never received a copy of the protection plan, which is our fault. But the saleswoman pushed this policy to us and we buckled. I will NEVER buy another piece of furniture from this company as long as I live. read more

We bought an expandable dining room table (2 extra leaves) and 6 chairs.11 years ago. We returned one chair as the back was broken where it went into the seat 6 years ago and they replaced it no questions asked. Today we returned 3 chairs total - 2 cleanly broken and one cracked at the exact same place as the first one. The manager, a guy with a shaved head and big beard was zero help. Told us they don't make the chair anymore. I could see these chairs on the rack up on the third level. Still wouldn't talk about it. Told me 10 years is the time limit on the "Life Time" warranty. I am thoroughly pissed about this and the lack of service they sell. Think twice before going here to spend your money. I'd rather spend it somewhere else after today. read more

Wife and I purchased over $4000 worth of furniture here in August 2019. Couches and an entertainment center. Have had tons of issues with the entertainment center. First one showed up, and 2 of the three pieces are broken. Delivery guys noticed it before it even came into the house. They said we could use those pieces, that they would re-order them and contact us for re-delivery of new pieces. That all happened, showed up, unboxed them and see those pieces are even worse off than the ones we have. Now we are re-ordering them again but will check them before they drive down here to Columbus from Mansfield to ensure they are good to go. Few weeks later we get a call that those pieces in the warehouse are also damaged! Asked us again if we would like them to re-order to get new pieces. We said absolutely that we don't want cracked furniture when we purchased brand new. To this day we haven't heard anything. In fact, we've contacted the store multiple times and once was hung up on, second was put on hold for 20+ minutes. It's now almost November and I still want my new furniture that I paid full price for. These aren't cosmetic issues. They are issues that affect the use of the furniture. Went there to buy two bedroom sets for a house we just bought to flip. Came from FL and needed those bedrooms by the closing. We made this clear as soon as we came in. We gave the date we needed the furniture and was told if we wanted it on that date we had to choose from the furniture marked "AVAILABLE"... so we did! We paid 13 thousand dollars cash... and planned on spending much more after renovations.. we called the day before the delivery was supposed to be made, and they said "we don't have you on a list for delivery yet... we explained what was told to us and we're basically patted on the head and talked to as if we were just confused so we had to make other arrangements, so we went and picked up our own mattresses, so we at least had a place to sleep. Then when they made the time two weeks later, it was only part of our delivery. The men came in and we showed them where one of the rooms would be placed.. the basement.. definitely dark and rough but clean and ready to be renovated lol... the look on the one guys face was pure disgust... so they took one bedroom set upstairs and one in the basement. They brought the dressers down the stairs with the drawers falling out, and they just kept slapping them back in... then set them where we asked. One man leaves for a moment and the other man asked what we paid for it because he liked it and needed a new set, so we told him.. then I looked and saw a drawer sticking out.. I pushed it and the bottom popped out lol... then I looked closer and not one drawer was flush or lines up and the other pieces (that did come) were scuffed.. the other man comes down and I point out the tipping drawer and all the others not flush AT ALL. He looks at it, wiggles a drawer and then says "well, I guess this is a lesson.. I worked at this store as a sales associate and the reality is, you get what you pay for".. my jaw dropped! Then the other man says, "no no no man they paid ***** for it" and the other (super smart fella) laughs out loud, looks around, looks at us and says "hahahahahahahaha Ummm NO... they didn't!"... We called the store and told them to tell the men to take it out if our house and we will go to the store to discuss what happened and if we want a refund or to choose another set! We went to the store and told them all of this and then said "you all need to make this right, with the money and stress that your company has caused us, and refunding the delivery fee won't even cover cost for staying somewhere with a bed while we waited 5 weeks for furniture that was "available and would be delivered on the date WRITTEN ON OUR RECEIPT!"... I said we needed a discount... he said, I don't know if I can do that, I'll have to make some calls... they had all this information and knew we were coming in.. I was shocked that they didn't have an offer prepared and ready. Needless to say, we won't be using them again: Funny note... the Jack ass delivery guy was a salesperson that they wanted to fire but he was there that day and they were short handed so they used him... Soooo send the man you are going to fire, to unload 13,000$ worth of furniture! Still so disgusted by how we were dismissed like they had no options for help other then removing the delivery charge.. how bout pay the 4 senior citizens for delivering our own mattresses... just wrong! read more

DONT BUY FROM THEM UNLESS YOU WANT TO GIVE YOURSELF A HEADACHE! Terrible customer service. I purchased a very expensive bed frame from them. Moved a couple times and had lost some hardware. They said they'd order it for me and made sure to tell me basically to feel luck they are even doing that for me. Otherwise, they don't normally help you with that and you can pretty much piss off. They promise to keep you updated and call you back but you will not get called back. Haven't received the pieces I've been waiting for or any hardware. DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM UNLESS YOU JUST WANT IT FOR THE SHORT TERM. They told me to buy a new bed frame.... why would I do that when I spent 100's and 100's on one from them already! There's got to be better hone furniture stores! SERIOUSLY DONT DO IT! read more

This place has horrible customer service. Walked in to ask about a particular rug. Store is NOT busy. Guy is sitting at his station all alone. Never got up. Had to go get the tape measure myself. No price or dimensions on the rug. I turn around to ask him the price and he is helping someone else. Had to wait forever, meanwhile other people in other parts of the store are just walking around or sitting there. Not the first time this had happened. Last time I turned around and walked out. It takes your order forever to get here. And when it finally does the order is not correct. Ordered $2000 in furniture the day after Thanksgiving told everything would be here in 2 weeks except one chair that would be here in January. Everytime we called we were told it's at the distribution warehouse it'll be here on the next truck. Still no delivery. called today February 8th 2021 they said everything was in but the one chair which won't be until March now. Go in it's the wrong order not our stuff that's in. Finally just canceled the order. and to make it worse the owner of the company can make a huge bet on Tampa Bay and still can't get people's furniture where it needs to be on time. We had a great experience! The salesman was knowledgeable and did not pressure us to buy! Great deal - less than half the price of Ashley Furniture. When there was a problem with delivery, the store manager (Nick Jones) personally stepped in and helped deliver the bed himself (on the day that was promise). That's service! I am really surprised to read these bad reviews because I have had a completely different experience! Ever since I first purchased a bunch of stuff in 2009, this is the first place I check when I need/want something. With the help of the manager, I even ordered an entire apartment full of furniture from here for my daughter out in WA. She flew me out and I was there in time when the folks delivered it. I always have great service when I go here ! I am absolutely disappointed in their furniture. We bought 2 bedroom sets, my sons loft bed with slide, a kitchen table with 6 chairs, a chaise, lamp and rugs when we bought our house. We have had nothing but issues with the bedroom set and table! My dresser has a drawer that opens by its self- I have to stick something underneath the drawer... thy wouldn't fix. They fixed one hinge. One of my drawers is completely broke. My husbands dresser had to be replaced because the wood was splitting. My king bed frame fell apart... the whole center of the bed - the legs bent and came out. My kitchen table chairs legs are all lose, the buttons came off of some of the backs. The table is marble and is cracking and they never gave us any info in how to care for any of it. The delivery guy who came to deliver my husbands 2nd dresser even said the set we have is nothing but issues. Why sell it to us then?! That is the worst thing about it. They knew it was a problem piece! So disappointed in the craftsmanship. They pride themselves in the fact they craft their furniture. Well mines a piece of crap! Nothing like priding yourself in your home to be let down in less than a year. read more
