The hubby and I spent a good hour milling around looking at the items. As other reviewers noted, it is quite packed, so you have to do some maneuvering. This place is really great if you're looking for "their type"...which seemed to be Christian definitely, nationalist maybe...so if you're into that you'll love it. There WERE sections for diverse topics-they were just either empty or nearly so. Maybe a bunch of witchy liberal first peoples recently came through and they haven't recovered? There were whole aisles devoted to Christian books. All in all, not diverse but they do have nice books if you are looking for what they carry.

This shop has two floors packed to the brim with about any kind of book imaginable. An entire children's section, foreign language books, old collectors books, and more. If you wanted to put together a bookshelf full of classics that actually look like classics in worn, brown leather binding you could definitely get your start here. There is every section you expect from a book store. An extensive collection of fiction starting at the front of the store, with classics and nonfiction in the back and upstairs. The children's section is also upstairs. There are a few places where you can sit and read. This being a primarily used book store, you can sell and trade too. Highest dollar is given for nonfiction, with hardbacks being at the top of that list. You can sell your books outright with no obligation to use the money as credit only. However, like with most trade-in places, you will typically get more value if you apply it in credit than if you take it in cash. Absolutely worth a visit, even if you're just looking to browse the day away in town.

I thought we wouldn't be in very long because it didn't look like so big of a place. Inside it's not huge, but we were in there close to an hour. The shop is clean, well-lit, and, most importantly, well-curated. I tried on some hats and looked at brooches. My friend tried on four outfits and bought three. The owner, Toni, made my friend a good deal on the bundle. Toni goes here and there, including to estate sales all over the area, to pick out great finds for her shop. I left with a pillbox hat and two brooches. I was going to give the brooches to my mother, but I'm wearing one on my blouse and the other is on my hat, so... we'll see whether they actually make it to my mom. Toni even threw in one brooch for free. Oh, and that pillbox hat? It was like new. Tags still attached, and the velvet was so soft. I'll definitely stop by next time I am in Mansfield, and I wouldn't be surprised if my friend comes by regularly.

She has shown me different painted techniques and has be extremely patience with me. This is my ceramic store I will drive an hour just to come here. Just a great store ! Have normally loved it, but…read moretonight I was was just three minutes late picking my kids up (they were waiting for their small ceramics to finish drying) and the owner was horribly rude. :( I apologized kindly several times and explained that I walked all of the way down to the other end in the freezing cold and that is the reason why I was three minutes late. She didn't care at all. She said, "Ok, let's go ahead and pay so I can get home". I was very disappointed. We live all the way out in Cleveland and travel here every year to paint little trinkets with our kids. I think I will find a place closer to home next year. I'm not too happy with giving such an uncaring person my money. Sadly, they've lost good customers. :-/
