He helped me gain a deeper understanding of my options so I could better make an informed decision. He then assisted another customer who came into the store, Brenda (white). While he and Brenda worked on her order, I tested out a Sealy Posturepedic that sat right behind Caleb's desk. They returned to his desk where he made a call to another store to check the availability of a mattress for Brenda. Upon getting in touch with the other associate, Caleb's face immediately turned from joyous to disheartened. He asked the "sleep expert, Bob" to repeat himself, this time the phone was on speaker. Brenda and I both heard Caleb be mistreated and discriminated against on the phone. "What the f*** do you want n*****!?" Brenda and I were aghast. She ended up going to that store to complain. I vowed to never purchase from a Mattress Firm, TempurPedic, or any other Somni group company again! Absolutely was NOT worth spending any money here if the culture is like this. I cannot find value in a company that does not find value in its employees. I hope the new Somni group can rectify this situation.

That chair has had lots of use and still works just like new! The next purchase was a couch which I've used for years. The fabric still looks like new. No wear or stains but the cushions were starting to sag a little and my back was starting to ache because of it. I decided that it was time to look at new sofas. Maybe one that reclines? Also I wanted a bed that was a little smaller and that I could raise and lower head/feet. Well, I discovered that Crowley now has a store in Blue Springs so one day, on a whim, I went in just to take a look around. And there was Leslie. She greeted me and I told her I was just going to look around. No plans for purchase--just starting what I expected to be a long hunt. She gave me a quick overview of how the store was laid out and said to come get her if I had any questions or needed help. I didn't get very far before I fell in love with a dining table. The perfect replacement for my clunky, hand-me-down/needs refinishing table. I found Leslie and told her to mark that one "SOLD". At that point I explained to her my plan to move from a house into an apartment in the near future. Almost like a mind reader and as though she were on the hunt for the perfect pieces with me, she helped me narrow down what it was I really needed and wanted. She was amazing. I never felt rushed, pushed or oversold. She listened so well that it was like turning my wishes into reality. In the end I felt like she was more friend than a sales person. As I was leaving, I asked her how many years she had been there and was so shocked it was only a few. She is just a natural. The bed/mattress I ended up with was exactly what I needed. But my favorite thing of all is the couch. I wanted a reclining couch with overstuffed arms but I had limited wall space. She helped me find the perfect one and it even had lumbar support (something I need desperately but didn't know existed). The only problem...I really hated the leather look and colors. I spent a lot of time with the swatches and finally found one that I liked better than the rest. Still not in love. When she came back to check on me, I made the comment that I sure wish the fabric wasn't just for pillows because I love color and pattern. She pointed out a group of swatches I totally missed -- they were fabric and there it was, Red!! A beautiful, glorious shade of red. LOVE!!! I think she was almost as excited as I was. Anyway, all the furniture is in place now and every piece is good quality and exactly what I need. I wouldn't change a thing. I even ended up having Crowley replace the foam in my old couch cushions. Like new! So that couch is now in my spare bedroom in place of a futon more suited for a dorm room. So happy I started my search at Crowley's. I'm sure the other sales associates are wonderful but as far as I'm concerned--Leslie is my hero. She made my search painless!!
