We had two scheduled dates for delivery and each time it was a "no show" which we didn't know about until we called the night before for delivery time. On our last visit to the store, when we promised ourselves we would cancel, Patrick assured us it would be delivered in a few days and because of the delay he would give us a free sheet set. (we even went back and bought some awsome pillows) We price shopped before we bought (as best we could, using the internet to find which mattresses are the same as which other mattresses because national chains rename mattresses to make it harder to compare). Turns out the mattress we purchased at Mattresses & More for $1249 (and free delivery and haul away), was the same mattress we liked at Mattress Firm but they wanted $1549 (on sale) plus $59 for delivery and haul away.

After getting the run around from the store for several weeks and after repeated calls to them, they indicated there was a problem with the delivery company (I later found out that the original company contracted to deliver was no longer servicing this manufacturer.) This surprised me because I did not purchase a floor sample and why did I have to wait a month if I did. I contacted the store and told Jen that I did not purchase a floor sample and was very unhappy about this. She said that the floor sample was never on the floor and stored in their storage area downstairs. Her word to mine that it was never on the floor. To make a long story short. This situation has gone on for six months now. I am still getting the run around from the store and Jen. She says she is the manager and the decision is hers to make. According to Manager Jen, this is a reputable family run business that has been around for many years. I believe she was insinuating that they are a good firm. I would have agreed initially, as I decided to make this very large purchase from them. Purchasing a new mattress is a very costly undertaking and I did not make the decision easily. To resolve the issue, Jen wants me to use the warranty on the bed (provided by a third party), which will allow a new bed selection. I don't want to choose a new bed from a new bed manufacturer after I researched and found what I thought was the perfect bed. I am not happy. I will not refer anyone to this company ever again. By the way, the bed I selected, after researching beds for more than 1 year, is no longer being sold by this company. First of all, they are not Ashlely employees. Ashley's contracts their repair services out to a third party. Their third part seems to be foreign individuals who often speak in hard to understand English and have trouble understanding basic information. It is truly a challenge to deal with these individuals. Secondly is their technicians. There are not enough in my area. I needed a service call, and appointments were only available on Fridays at least two week away. This is poor, poor customer support. Third are their actual technicians. I had the first tech come to my home and misdiagnosed my issue. A second technician came out who was 2 hours late. He called to let me know he was still coming 90 minutes after the time frame he was supposed to be at my home. This second technician took my loveseat apart, then told me he didn't have enough time to do my work and would have to reschedule. He said I would get a call to reschedule. I never got a call back. I had to eventually call the store back to get their contractor to assist me. In the meantime after the second technician left, I notice he didn't put my loveseat back together properly and it wobbled. Bottom line Ashley's customers service provider is not reliable, incompetent, non-communicative and really could care less about the customer. With all this, the value of my loveseat doesn't matter because Ashley's support for my purchase is substandard and handled by a substandard agency. I will never, and I mean never, make another purchase from Ashley's Furniture again and I encourage you to do the same.
