Excellent small town retailer, with a big presence. After 40 years of owning various appliances in…read moredifferent houses and now needing a new washer and dryer we were directed to Waterford Appliances via a local resident and friend so we thought we'd see what they could offer. A friendly no pressure discussion about the various product lines which they themselves use in their home provided us with the initial feeling of honesty. We briefly checked online for comparable pricing and that was not an issue. The promise of direct contact through them for all of our service needs was also high on our list. There was also a no pressure sales tactic on warranties etc. it was a discussion that allowed us to decide for ourselves with no judgement. The gentlemen that came to install new and take away the old were very polite and demonstrated an educated product knowledge. They gave us whatever time we needed to become familiar with the product and they were in and out in a personable, clean and timely manner. We will recommend this business to our anyone who asks.

Such a horrible experience here. we purchased almost $13000…read moreworth of appliances for our brand new home and had them installed by their "professional installers". The first problem was a drawer in the fridge that wouldn't stay closed...Darcy assured me that was normal. Not normal according to kitchen aid. about 2 weeks after the install we found water had been leaking down into the basement and when we pulled the fridge out we discoverEd the water line had not been installed properly and had been leaking and ruined the whole side panel of the cupboards in our brand new house. when we approached them with the issue Darcy told is it was our problem because apparently after you have a "professional" install your appliances you are then supposed to pull said appliance out from the wall and make sure it doesn't leak???? That lady was sweet as pie until she got our $$$ and then basically told us to go away. Such a rude arrogant person to deal with. I wouldn't ever recommend buying anything from there ever.

Well, I can say that I would definitely go back here again, if and whenever I might find myself in this neck of the woods. It's not next door for me, but we do occasionally find ourselves not too far from here. They sell quite a variety of spices and foods, soup mixes, baking needs, and of course housewares / home decorations. I could go crazy spending in here. We did pick up a jar of corn relish, which I tried out not long after getting home. I have to say it was pretty good! They also sell flavoured peanuts they call "chip nuts" (seems to be a local "Thing" around here, as they do have a bit of competition. OK by me! I love them!) Very surprised to read on this page that Coyle's has been around for so long - since 1899. More power to you! Shop Canadian. Wish we knew more about their history. We enjoyed our visit, and would definitely go back.

This places charges astronomical prices for the most simplistic sewing . Higher prices than Ethan…read moreAllen even for panel curtains $700 + to sew pocket curtains with out any type of lining or anything at ALL. The fabric is another $150. Ethan Allen offers superior tailoring, fabric and over quality for $450 for the same thing only better. Is this man CRAZY? Also , he never gives you a receipt or invoice as you would in any other store its rather odd and you do not discover the full price of the work until after its been completed and then you are in a bullied position to pay. I would look elsewhere for custom tailoring or drapery as the practices of this business are questionable and the astronomical pricing is LUDICROUS.
