I have been a Bob's customer and currently have a $7,400 Bob's credit line through Wells Fargo. I am still paying for a couch purchased from Bob's. I recently discovered that Bob's ended its relationship with Wells Fargo and will no longer accept my existing credit line for new purchases. I received no noticeable email, letter, or other notification from Bob's informing me that a credit line obtained specifically to shop there would become unusable. I can continue paying Wells Fargo, but if I want financing at Bob's again, I must apply for new credit. After researching why Bob's changed lenders, I became more concerned. Bob's replaced Wells Fargo with Synchrony as its primary financing provider and offers additional financing through companies including Fortiva, Acima and American First Finance. Bob's has publicly discussed higher approval rates and higher approved credit amounts under its new program. The Synchrony MyBob's Card currently discloses a 34.99% regular APR and up to a 39.99% penalty APR. Even more concerning, Bob's own disclosure states that Acima's standard 12-month lease-to-own option may cost MORE THAN DOUBLE the cash price. Bob's markets itself as a "discount" furniture retailer while offering increasingly expensive financing alternatives to consumers who may not qualify for traditional credit. Those consumers are often the people least able to absorb extremely high financing costs. I cannot claim to know Bob's intentions, but I believe this business model deserves consumer scrutiny. There is a difference between expanding access to furniture and creating progressively more expensive ways to complete a sale when a consumer cannot qualify for conventional financing. In my opinion, marketing "discount" furniture this way can leave vulnerable consumers paying anything but a discount.

So respectful. So sweeet. Pimp was sold when Austin invited us to have some free ice cream in the cafe (even though I told him we were "just looking".) We found EXACTLY the kind of couch we were looking for. We were flip-flopping between that and actually a more expensive one but Austin pointed out some things that helped us realize that higher priced one wouldn't work. THEN, we found out we could do 12 months same as cash. Pimp was sold. Oddly enough, the trip to the ladies room sealed the deal for me. The bathroom was tidier than my own at home. But when I asked Austin about whether they still "Scotch Guard" the furniture, and he explained how their company "didn't trust" that product to be safe for their customers, but had a protection policy instead ... what the helllllllll! The mattress frame is supposed to have 24 screws put in 6 at each corner with 3 on each side of the corner. They left about 8-10 screws out and just tossed them in the draw that were under the bed. I guess they got tired of screwing screw and said oh well not our bed. They installed it so close the wall cant even get on that side of the bed. I dont know where they found the install crew but they were totally clueless. The head board wasn't put on right and fell into my wall and put a hole in it. This store and the corporate/Furniture Row could not care less about this shoddy install. One last thing they dont inform when upgrading to drawers under the bed that they dont even pull out far enough from underneath to even reach in or they didn't install those right. To be honest if I couldn't do a better job than that I would quit and call it a day. Ill up load some pics soon. If you want to take a chance that's up to you but dont say I didn't tell you!! Total shoddy experience and very disappointed as this was a birthday present from my dad and these people ruined it. As of today they have not taken responsibility for the mistake and rectified it despite 3 years of trying to get them too. What they do is stall you until they finally say its been to long or make up some excuse why its not being such as there was no warranty. Again has nothing to do with the warranty has to do with the horrible set up. This store always responds with contact us were here ready to help but dont fall for it. This is just their standard reply on everything but when push comes to shove they are no where to be seen. I would think long and hard before paying these people to set up anything. We saved about $400 overall and got a 3 year warranty on both. Big Box retailers couldn't get them to us until mid November and we likely would have paid more than full price for them. It tied everything together, and all of the furniture is extremely high-quality, durable and so so beautiful! The delivery team went above and beyond to ensure my experience was a positive one as well. They called and checked in the day before, gave a time frame, and were there right on time. Carson and Noah were friendly, polite and super helpful. I won't be going anywhere else for furniture from now on, and we love supporting a local, family owned company. It's the only place my in laws by furniture too, and they have ordered several custom pieces from them that have turned out STUNNING.
