My dad bought a mattress here, and spent $1,500. Now, less than 8 months later, there's a "valley" on one side of the bed. When he went in to see about getting a replacement, Charlie told him that's just the way things were and there was nothing they could do. Frustrating thing is that my dad is NOT a large man, so this is just poor quality!! Seems to me they are taking advantage of an elderly man. in 2011 we spent $1000 on a top mattress here. After two years it started to get indentations and springs actually poked through the covering. We came back in this year searching for a new mattress we were greeted by Tom. He asked what were looking for. We said foam mattress because our last mattress we bought from here 3 years ago had crapped out on us. he said, "Sorry to hear that" and he brought us to a bed. We laid on it, it felt great. We started our new mattress purchase at Sleep City on a recommendation from a friend. We talked with several salespeople over a couple of visits because there are just so many beds out there with so many options that the task seemed very overwhelming. However, Van made the decision and process much easier than we expected. We wanted something high end with adjustable bases. We found the bed we wanted but were stuck on the softness. I wanted a firm and my wife wanted a plush. So we compromised and got a plush. We later ended up exchanging the plush mattress for a medium and are much happier. The staff was great helping us make the exchange and the delivery guys did all the work. Our experience was so amazing that we'll never go anywhere else. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM SLEEP CITY They will tell you anything to make a sale, I got completely screwed out for $2k on a purchase of a bed. At the time of purchase us-mattresses.com was selling the bed for $1700 with free shipping, but wanting to keep my business local as I felt I should being in the small tight nit Flathead Valley I decided to purchase this fairly expensive bed from Sleep City. Before stroking the check as payment I repeatedly asked your sales associate about the warranty coverage and he assured me I would get a full 20 year warranty (no questions first 10 years/ following 10 year pro-rated). Feeling good about keeping my money in the community and having piece of mind with my assured warranty I felt extremely satisfied with my purchase until 2 years down the road when the bed started to sink in. I then joined the military and hadn't had time to address the failing mattress issue until the 3rd year with the bed. At this time I submitted my warranty card, photos of the depression as well as law tags, and proof of purchase to Sealy's Warranty department and much to my dismay the claim was immediately denied because of the receipt stating that this bed was in fact a floor model. Not being a mattress expert at the time of purchase I had no idea that this could ever happen especially with your salesman's assurances in the warranty that I had to believed to receive. This whole ordeal is extremely disheartening and I simply cannot believe the way I have been treated. My back is getting destroyed from this mattress and we simply cannot afford to purchase a new one. I have contacted multiple representatives of Sleep City (store level and corporate level) and they will do absolutely nothing for me and will no longer reply to any emails or return any of my calls. We ordered a Queen mattress at their Labor Day Sale. We were told it would be 3-4 weeks for delivery because they did not have them in stock. 7 1/2 weeks later and many phone calls later (calls which were not returned) we picked it up. Scam!!! Sold me "top of the line" base and mattresses for a "good deal". After making the sale, tried to convince me of another base that was better, but with less functions. Never sent me the specs as I asked for. Delivery arrived and arrived late. Paperwork was changed to a different "cheaper" base (never agreed on). We were shorted items. The price on the paperwork was half the price we were paying. Sales guy non responsive during delivery. Rejected full order and cancelled everything. I ordered and paid for a mattress set 4 weeks ago, and they said it would have to be ordered and that it would be a week. After numerous unanswered phone calls and several unanswered messages, I was told today they don't know for sure and it could be 2-3 more weeks. The first time I went to there new location they were open and didn't have any exterior lights on. I had to trust my GPS to make sure where I was at. Sleep city offered a great price that nobody would match in the Chicagoland area. They said 2-3 weeks for the mattress. When you place your order they say they call the nearest beauty rest factory and order it. Well after 3 weeks we called and it wasn't even ordered yet. Not happy in the least. It took 6 weeks. You should say so in the beginning . We were suppose to get our pillows and mattress pad sent out too. Well that was another run around. We finally were able to talk to Eric Wilson, he is that company's saving grace. He made sure the mix up with our pillows were taken care of and other issues. The rest of their staff when you get to talk to someone in incompetent. They sure took my money right away. Be Leary. Probably would not order fom them again or recommend them. read more

We ordered a Beautyrest Black mattress set from Sleep City and everything went fine until the delivery. Please be advised: Check your purchase very, very carefully before the delivery men leave. We found out the hard way that any damage discovered after they leave becomes your problem. My delivery was set up for 2 pm but at 10 am , I get a call from the delivery guys that they were coming to drop off my mattress. I told them we couldn't accept delivery at that time. They came @ 1:30 pm, rushed through my house with the new mattress set before taking out the old set. They knocked ornaments off my Christmas tree and created general havoc in my home. We tried to do a thorough inspection but we missed a damaged spot on the innerspring. The rush job could have been designed to make inspection difficult. I felt confident that the company would replace the one box spring, but to my surprise, my "damage" was deemed minor, and I was given three options, live with it, if the tear spreads, fix it yourself, or buy a new "set" of box springs. An otherwise very good experience, was upended by a very bad delivery experience, and a poor company response to my damaged merchandise. I saved money but lost confidence in this company. read more

Ordered a Simmons Beauty Rest Black Mattress from Sleep City in late May 2015. Price was fantastic (almost so good that I had to (did) question if it was real). After searching Simmons site. I found that Sleep City is a authorized Simmons dealer (which they claimed to be, but I wanted to be sure). So we ordered it. Were told we would have in 2-3 weeks and they were spot on. Got a call in roughly two weeks and the mattress was delivered to my house by the second week in June. It is everything we thought it would be. Very pleased! We went into Sleep Center in Helena in October last year. We did some research and knew exactly what we wanted. We allowed ourselves to be talked into a different mattress. We ended up asking to trade to the one we wanted because neither of us could sleep. We ordered the mattress we originally went in to purchase and were told it would be three weeks. On week four I called and found out our mattress hadn't been placed on the truck. When we finally received the mattress it was not the one we ordered but since it had taken so long to get the bed we just went with it. This was last October. The bed started breaking down after four months, as luck would have it my husband started experiencing some health problems and we weren't able to get to the store to have our mattress replaced until this October. We set up an appointment for "between 10 and 3" the next week and were told we would get a phone call the night before with an exact time. We received no phone call so I called the next morning and was told we had been forgotten about. We did set up another appointment because we need a bed but the fact that we were "forgotten about" tells me they really aren't interested in customer service but they were quick to take our money. read more
