I purchased with a credit card and after not receiving the items and being told we don't have a new delivery date for months I disputed it. Apparently all sales are final means they don't have to give you the items, but you're obligated to pay for them according to wallaroos and synchrony bank. The FTC says otherwise "All Sales Final" Exception: A "final sale" designation applies to returns, not to the failure of the seller to deliver the product. I am disputing the charge a third time since the furniture was purchased over 6 months ago and wallaroos breached the sales contract. Seriously considering getting a lawyer at this point. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

    On February 8, we purchased two couches after receiving clear assurances from the manager that they…read morewould be transferred from another store and would arrive within a couple of weeks. Since that time, I have repeatedly requested updates but have only been met with shipping excuses or complete silence in response to my texts, despite assurances that I would be kept informed. Initially, I was told the delay was due to weather issues--specifically, that a truck couldn't navigate snowy passes over a month ago. Following that, I was given excuses regarding manufacturer problems and backorders. This order should not have been on backorder, as I was explicitly told the couches were coming from a closing store. Last week, the manager assured me she would get in touch, yet I have heard nothing. We would not have made this purchase if we had known it would take this long. After my last contact a few days ago, I again requested an update. The manager claimed they were getting in more couches and promised to send me pictures for potential exchanges. She did not follow through. After waiting another week, I texted her to indicate that I would visit the store. Upon browsing their inventory, I discovered they didn't have what we were looking for. I kindly requested a refund, but I was told that all sales were final, yet the manager suggested we should receive one. I then spoke with a customer service representative who informed me that we would face a 25% fee if we wanted a refund. I explained the situation, but she simply repeated the same scripted response. The manager stated that the couches were coming from another store within a couple of weeks, while customer service claimed this never happened. My husband and daughter were both present when this information was provided. During my follow-up visit, I ensured I had another witness to confirm the statements made. It is entirely unacceptable to impose a 25% fee for a refund under these circumstances. We were given inconsistent information and are now facing a completely different narrative. We are prepared to take legal action and will be filing in small claims court for a full refund along with all associated legal fees.

    I really can hardly even believe how great these guys are. Last time I had to add some furniture to…read moremy life, I was able to come here and get two matching armchairs, a three-cushion couch, and a dining room table with a leaf for $200 with delivery (up the stairs of the apartment building!) included. When they were moving the couch, they noticed it had a little bit of an odor they had not been previously aware of-- so they called and asked if we still wanted it, and when we did they delivered it with the rest, but refunded us $50 so the couch was free. Integrity! This was more than five years ago and the armchair I still have is only now reaching the end of its lifespan, and it has not been treated gently. The prices are a steal, they have quality standards, and they run a lean operation because they don't exist to make profits, they exist to raise money for child abuse prevention. (A pretty big contrast from the national thrift chain that pays exorbitant executive salaries and pretended paying people with disabilities way below minimum wage to staff their stores was 'charity'.) I honestly look forward to my next chance to buy from them. They also do donation pickup for free, if you need old furniture hauled away before a move.

    Damn, Ashley - so close to a 5 star review. You could've been a contender but…read more.. Let me start with the reason for the 4 stars (that should have been 5 stars): Bought a living room set about a year and half ago and the linkage on the electric footrest mechanism just snapped in half. Got the part replaced under warranty fast - week and half. I did the work myself because after 1 year labor is not covered but it was an easy half hour job. So super happy with that. Excellent job Ashley on your warranty replacement work. So why not 5 stars? They tried to lie about the warranty at first (well, a lie of omission). When the chair broke, first thing we did was call down there and ask about the warranty. "Oh...sorry...warranty is only 1 year" we were told. Damn, that sucks. So we drive down there to look at buying a new $1500 chair. The sales guy is showing us different chairs and I'm small talking him and mentioned that I was looking for a cheaper chair. I just broke the last one after only a year and a half so figured if that's all they're good for - then I want the cheapest chair possible. He points out that the parts warranty is actually 5 years. Only the labor expires after 1 year. "Well good", says I. I need to file a warranty claim then. "You gotta talk to the boss and he's gone until Wednesday". No problem. I leave and call back Wednesday. Tell the boss my problem and he also tells me "Oh...sorry...warranty is only 1 year". But your salesman showed me the brochure that says 5 year warranty. "Oh that's just parts, no labor". OK, so get me the part. I'll either do it myself or gladly pay the labor to have it done. At that point, the manager switched gears from deny-mode and was super helpful and got the claim filed and the replacement linkage mechanism to me in less than 2 weeks. So kudos for that. But really? How many people have they fooled with this whole "first try to deny the warranty" tactic? Maybe the first guy my wife called was new and didn't know any better but I spoke with the store manager. He knew damn well it was a 5 year parts warranty. But rather than say that, he tries to imply that my chair is out of warranty. Then silence. As if, end of story. Had it not ultimately ended well for me - I would have given only 1 star. But once the manager realized he wasn't going to get away with snowing me about the "sorry...only 1 year warranty" he did do an excellent job of getting me the broken part replaced. If he reads this - maybe he might consider ditching that tactic. Probably works on a lot of people but it's just not worth the negative karma and missing out on a 5 star glowing review.
