Unfortunatly, I recently requested a replacement for a CLEARLY DEAD tree; a tree that was pointed out to them 6 months ago and was told to "watch it and see if it comes back". When shown the tree recently, I was asked to "PROVIDE THE PURCHASE RECEIPT" which I no longer have!!!!!!! I hope this was just the action of one "wrong-headed" employee and not a reflection of Pine Ridge! As mentioned earlier, the Company is, otherwise, ABSOLUTLY FANTASTIC!!! I hired this company due to their message of social justice on their road sign. I see that it…read moreearned them many 5-star reviews on Google, so I wonder if they did it purely for marketing. TL;DR - paid a lot of money to have them show up weeks late, do a terrible job on the yard/kill plants, complained and had someone show up in my yard unannounced to poke around, then never heard from them again. Unfortunately, being supporters of social justice does not equate to ethical business practices.. I paid over $1500 to have my garden beds mulched, and not only did they show up for the service 6 weeks late (no calls in the meantime - I had to call each week for an update, and they assured me I was "next" on the list each time), they completely destroyed several plants, didn't mulch all the beds, and edged but didn't mulch several beds in the backyard (which were beds I did not want mulched, but now I'm stuck with edged beds and clumps of grass in the beds). I was assured the mulchers would know which plants were weeds and which were intentionally planted, but they cut down several newly planted and FLOWERING native plants. They also butchered my fig tree, which was FRUITING, as well as my butterfly bush which was also flowering. I had to run out and stop them from cutting back several other bushes, which I was not told was part of the service. I called them after assessing the damage, and asked them to remedy the situation, explaining the plants that were damaged/killed and the missed beds they were supposed to mulch. Some guy randomly showed up in my driveway later that day and started walking around the yard, inspecting plants. He didn't ring the doorbell or give me a call to say he was on his way over. After about 30 minutes, he left and I haven't heard from them since. I regret spending all this money for mulching and highly suggest that you do not hire them. My yard continues to recover from the damage they caused, and I have not heard any word from them since complaining several months ago.

She [my mother] is an active 73-year-old woman who recently had the misfortune of learning she had a severe leak in her roof that was causing significant internal damage to her home. Fearing the costs associated with roof repair or even a potential replacement, my mother attempted to repair the problem herself by replacing the shingles. Her 13 yr old grandson recorded her on the roof doing the work herself and then he sent the video to me. I was so proud of her strength and ability that I wanted to show her off to the world. Therefore, I sent the video to the local news stations with the hope they would run a story on her. Once WDBJ7 broadcast her story, Cenvar Roofing management saw it and stepped in immediately, offering to take care of her situation at NO CHARGE to her. From the moment that Cenvar associates stepped foot onto mom's property to the day they completed the roof repair, she said "every crew member was friendly and treated her [job] as if she were a paying customer". Additionally, the associates saw that mom's home did not initially have gutters or downspouts either. Management decided to surprise her with brand new gutters and downspouts to ensure mom's house would not experience any follow-on damage due to un-channeled rainwater. Today, my mom [and stepdad] are over the moon and love the work that Cenvar Roofing did for them in their time of need. She admits that she enjoys watching the rainfall now and seeing it flow from her roof to the gutters, down the drain spouts, and away from her home. This was truly a gift that Cenvar Roofing gave to her, the ability to rest easy knowing that her roof was professionally and expertly repaired, and a little extra work was done all to support a member of the community.
